Carr laughed as he read the letter from Henrietta and Lorraine in his hands. The two of them always managed to make Carr laugh so completely hard. Henri had started to write the letter by herself, but of course Lori had to jump right in and write her comments on the same page as Henri was. This made a wide smile come to Carr's lips. Henri and Lori were two completely different people even though they were twins. But, they were different. They had different hobbies, personalities, and feelings. And yet, they still remained close. They still shared a room at both home, school, and at Claira's house in France. They got on each other's nerves a lot, but they were still close. Carr found it amazing how to different people could be so close. Henri and Lori never ceased to amaze Carr. However, he had known them since there births. They were his sisters and maybe that's why the stupidest of jokes that they said made Carr laugh so hard. The triplets also made Carr laughed, but they were still young. Their jokes didn't have too much meaning like the twin's jokes did. All of them made Carr laugh. Well, maybe except Emory. Emory had been distant from Carr and the rest of the family for years, but Carr had accepted it. His little brother hated him, but Carr could to nothing to change that nor did he really know why.
The letter had been put down. Now, Carr was looking at the photos that Henri and Lori had sent them. He smiled flipping through the animated pages. One picture had Lori and Henri in their Beauxbatons uniforms smiling and waving near some sort of body of water. Then, Lori pretended to throw Henri in. She tugged on her beret. Carr laugh. Another picture was very photo album like. It was a picture of Henri whispering something into Lori's ear in a very cute, little girl like manner. Lori laughed as she heard the news. Carr smiled. He missed them. He hadn't spent much time with his siblings over Christmas and he really did miss them. Carr loved family. It was one of the things he had known to love over the years. Yes, he didn't have a mother. Well, he did, but she had left years before. Carr didn't know why, but he had looked past that. He needed his family and Carr realized it now. Becoming tired to sitting, Carr stood up, picked up his camera bag and left his dorm.
Carr walked out into the Courtyard with his trusty camera in hand. He loved to take pictures. He always had. Mostly, Carr loved to capture seasons and simply nature objects. But, he did love taking pictures of his family too when he saw them. Carr smiled. Yes, it was cold outside, but this was the perfect time to take pictures. It was windy yet sunny and still freezing. Carr lifted a hand to his face for a brief moment before he spotted the perfect thing to photograph. He walked over. A blade of grass in the snow on the ground? It was still January! But, still, there was a blade of grass. It didn't look new, that Carr could tell, but it was still there. It was just waiting to be photographed, Carr decided. He got inn the perfect light and bent down closer. Carr smiled as he clicked the picture. He tried to turn around to take more pictures, but someone was behind him and he hit the person lightly. Carr took a step back. "Sorry, sorry!" He said in his usual friendly tone. "I didn't even hear a person near me. I guess I was concentrating too much. Oh, well. I do hope you're okay. You are, aren't you." Carr asked smiling nicely. He looked at his camera for a second and then back at the face. Carr waited for them to respond.
