Patricia yanked her arm away from Richard. "Well that Patricia screwed up more than this one ever did." She almost shouted and looked down at Rachel with frustration anger and confusion yet pity and sadness and apology. She hated that she kicked her like she did. She didn't deserve it. Patricia shook her head of her thoughts and breathed in a heavy sigh
Don't be weak Patrica, don't be week.

Richard turned around, and glared at Patricia, unable to believe what he was hearing. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said in disappointment. "Maybe we should just go," he said after a pause. It would probably be best for everyone, he reasoned. They were all getting a bit flustered, emotional and...kicky, he thought grimly. "Is that what you want, Patricia? For us to go?" Richard asked, realising the true extent of what he was asking. Do you want me gone for good? He screamed inwardly at her. He kept a calm face and waited for her to say something.

Patricia stared at Richard and Rachel in silence. She closed her eyes slowly and tears ran down her face so fast, you couldn't even catch them with a hankey. "Yes" she said low as her voice cracked.
Why did you do that idiot? Of course you don't want them to go. They are you best friends. You want Richard to stay. You love Richard. And Rachel was your best friend. How could you get through anything without her. Come on speak up Trisha. Speak up. Don't be so bloody thick. Come on. Say how you love them. You don't want them to leave you. Get down on your knees in front of them. Plead for their forgiveness and acceptance. COME ON!!!!
She squeezed her fists so tight, that they began to bleed again. She didn't care. She felt the pain. She felt the blood. But she didn't care. Her blood leaked out through her fist, drop then two landed on the grass.

Richard looked at Patricia for a minute, not moving, and then turned away. "Fine," he said sadly, before beginning to walk back to Rachel. "Come on, Rach," he said, helping her to her feet. With one last, remorseful look at Patricia, they began to walk back to somewhere where it would not be fatally humiliating if he broke down.

Patricia stood there in silence. She watched them walk off. She sat down by the lake in tears.
What have you done you fool. Run after them GO!!
Patricia didn't move. She stayed put. Like a cowered. Just like she did at home. When things got complicated she ran and hid, like a baby.

Rachel watched the scene before her unfolding, knowing that, like in a boxing match, one side would win and one would lose. Richard and Patrica staying together, with everyone just moving on, was one side, and they were pitted almost unfairly against the bigger, tougher side of splitting apart. Unfortunately, the splitting apart side had the advantage of emotion, especially anger, and she watched in dismay as the second side took control. "Please Richard, no," she murmured as he asked Patrica the one question Rachel hoped she would never hear from him. She screamined inwardly at Patrica to say no. If Patrica said no, maybe they had a chance. But as soon as Rachel saw Patrica's face she knew it was a lost cause.
Rachel continued to watch Richard's sad face as he turned around, and after a few seconds she couldn't bear looking at him anymore. She let him help her up, and they walked away. Rachel wondered what they were walking away from. Were they cutting all ties of Patrica? Rachel didn't want to lose Trish as a friend, but it didn't seem likely that Patrica wanted to be her friend anymore. Squeezing Richard's hand, Rachel leaned against him and sighed. "I'm so sorry, CP," she murmured, closing her eyes. "Forgive me."

Patrcia sat there and watched as the pair left. She felt horrible. She was mean adn ruthless.
I thought that Patrcia was gone. Never to be seen agian. Face it, you can't be nice. You just can't no matter how hard you try. You can't. Now what will happened between Harmony? Will and Rachel ever speak again? What about Blake? Are you two even friends? Well what about Richard? How can you forget? Richard! Patrcia you steeped so low as to fight over a boy. A boy. How low are you? Seeing your father again would be merciful. You deserved to rot. Die a horrible death. Just get Voldamort to put the controling curse one you. I deserve it.

"Um, I'm still here guys. Is it something I did?" Asked Blake. He was spinning back and forth. He was about ready to curse Richard into oblivion for talking to Patricia that way. What a jerk he was. Obviously she liked Blake, but probably not as much as he thought. Was she just playing with his mind or something? Blake hated mind tricks, almost as much as Ravenclaws.

Patrcia stood up and walked back to the court yard. She wanted to sleep. She was deathly tired. She walked back and noticed Blake paceing like a maniac. "Um...hey" Patrcia said shyly scratching her head.

"Do you want me to go and kill him? He was the biggest jerk ever, for talking to you like that. I wanna go and kill him now. You'll have to try to stop me in a minute." He was angrly scowling and muttering to himself. Richard was no good, just a pretty boy who has no respect for how other people feel. He just went out with Patricia because she looked good probably. Yeah, that's it, Blake thought. It had to be. Otherwise, even I wouldn't be such a jerk, such a player.

Patrcia smiled. "It is ok" Patrcia sighed and whiped the tears from her face. She sniffled and walked up to Blake. "He likes Rachel, Rachel likes him" She looked down. "I am fine really" she forced a smile. "Thank you for your concern though."She kicked the ground. "Want to go do something?" she asked trying to get the whole thing of her mind.

"Yeah, sure. Um, got any ideas of where to go? Hogmeade, maybe? Or elsewhere?" He liked where this conversation was going. He never used to like talking, but now every word he said he felt move him. It was like discovering the Dark Arts, Again.

Patrcia forced a smile. "I don't know, Maybe you could show me those Dark Arts books" Patrcia looked down. "If you want."
Patrcia come on Trish. What arer you doing go run after Richard.
Patrcia forced a shy smile and whipped her tears. "What do you say?" she said moving her blonde hair away out of her face.

"Um, sure, I'll go get them, wanna come?" Blake was excited. His two favorite things, ever, Dark Arts, and Patricia. This is awesome.

Patricia nodded, forcing a smile. She wasn't to happy at the situation. But if Blake didn't hate her, she was happy. She hadn't really had any business with Dark Arts for a while. Ever since winter break. "Sure.. I will go with you" Patricia took his hand and blushed. This was.. a little different, but she felt happy, that is. "We will have fun"She smiled and kissed his cheek. Apparently he didn't care about the situation that just happened.
