"Where's a good, quiet, secretive place?" Arden asked herself as she paced the hallways with a few bags on her shoulders from her latest shopping spree, which had also caused a slight migraine like headaches forming in her head. Smiling she remembered that in her first year she had found a secret room hidden by a picture. She knew that was where her feet had been taking her as she wondered through the castle. Tickling the pear she walked in grinning as she found a large room with books, journals, pens, a bathroom, a changing room, and a small table and a large comfortable looking couch. "This room really can read thoughts." she said again to herself as a small tray of muffins and a goblet of juice appeared balancing on air after she had flicked her wand once in the air.
Trying hard to keep the dorkish smile on her face Arden summoned another table, this time with her mind, and sat her bags on top of it. Dumping out the bags she began sifting through the clothes until she found a pair of light wash blue jeans, an old western button up T-shirt, a tank to go under it, and a pair of boots. Grabbing them she went to the room and locked the door with a thought to make it unlockable she changed and then looked in the mirror. She had many thoughts. Her main one was that she looked like a girl out of an old muggle western movie. Packing her school robes into the bags and the other newly bought items she sent them to her bedroom and then sat down on the green couch that still sat in the middle of the room.
Thinking for a moment a minute later she felt the few pounds of a heavy book in her hand. Reading the binding of the book she read 'Wicked: Witch & Curse'. It was a muggle book. She had read a few years ago and loved every second of it. Flipping it open to the first part and first page she began reading, smiles and frowns forming on her face as she read on. She began to get into the book so much she never even noticed anyone come in.

Celia needed some alone-time, definately. She didn't have too much work, for a change-she managed to keep that all organised fairly well-but still, just...everything semed to be getting on top of her. It was partly the prospect of her OWLs coming up, although that was still 8 months or so off, and partly to do with the prospect of having to choose NEWTs for the next 2 years-she had no idea what she wanted to do as a career. Well, she was bright, so she would be allowed to do most classes, hopefully, but then it was the choices-she knew that she wanted to do 5 or 6 subjects-not 8 or 9, like some people, but which ones was the problem...so she decided that she needed some alone-time to just relax and take her mind off things...
So after an afternoon finishing off her work, and thinking about the future, she decided to go to the one place where she thought that she would be alone-the so-called Room of Requirement. She had only been there a couple of times before-when work had really got on top of her and she really needed to be alone, in a silent place where nobody could find her. Not many people knew about the room, as it was secretly hidden. Lucky really-if more people knew about it, more people would go into it, so more people would invade the space of others. So she changed into her black jeans and tie-dyed navy t-shirt, and went over to the room where she was hoping to spend the next couple of hours or so, in peace.
Upon entering the room, she noticed that she wasn't alone. In the middle of the room, sitting on a green leather couch, was a familiar-looking girl. Someone from her year, she was sure. Walking closer, she noticed that the girl was Arden Blake, a Gryffindor that she didn't know particularly well, but recognised from some lessons. "Hey, Arden is it? Um hi...sorry for just entering like that. So...you wanted a bit of peace and quiet too then?" She addressed the girl, and stood, waiting for a reply.

Smiling half heartedly at the girl she had seen as Celia Arden nodded at her twice, different reasons both times. "Yeah. All the younger kids here were starting to annoy me by far. So I came to the obly place they don't know completely about, but they will find out sooner or later so it's like an enjoy this while you can." Placing her book on her table she stood up and changed the couch to a red chair like the one she had seen in the Gryffindor common room and then summoned another one like it, but this one in blue, for Celia as she was a Ravenclaw.
The table moved to the middle and another goblet of juice appearing she smiled as the tray of muffins filled higher and blueberries began popping into them. "I'm sorry." Arden said grinning. "I just love what this room can do. It just amazes me that something could be made like this, seeing as I am a muggleborn.
Waltzing toward the book shelf she decided to change to a happier book and grinned as her book on the table disappeared and "The Year of Secret Assignments" appeared on the shelf granting her the wish of getting to go sit down and read it.
(sorry it's not as long as before I just want to catch up on all my posts cuz I've been busy with basketball)

Celia listened as Arden told her about all the younger kids anooying her. She knew the feeling, too well, as some might say. "I know how you feel-it's as if every 5 minutes someone comes up to you, asking how to get to this room, or what to do because somebody hit them, or something like that. It's become a lot worse this year, for me. Becoming a prefect has made all the younger ones see me a major source of help, and authority. I see why-I suppose I was similar, when I was a firstie-and it's completely understandable. But, as you said, none of them know about this place, so it's the perfect hide-out. Plus, being a 5th year isn't exactly an easy ride as it is-all the professors are going on about OWL results, or NEWT choices and their importance-it's just too much a the moment!" She stopped talking for a moment while Arden changed the couch into a red chair, and summoned a blue one, supposedly for herself. Very fitting, she thought. It made her wonder why the sofa was green to start with, but she didn't hold that thought for long and sat down in the blue chair-Blue for Ravenclaw,-similar to the Red one,-Red for Gryffindor-that Arden was on, and took a muffin from the plate that had materialised on the table in front of them. Blueberry muffins were one of her favourites! She could never resist one when they were offered. They brought back memories of happy times when her mother used to bake a lot, and made a fresh batch every day, almost. It had all changed now-her father had left, and her mother was often in a state of deep depression, but she never liked to ponder over thye subject. Celia finished her mufffin, wiped her fingers, and poured herself a glass of juice. "I know what you mean-I was brought up as a witch, but it still amazes me too. It always does exactly what you want, and never gets it wrong-it's great! It's like a mind reader, a mysterious being. Well, this IS Hogwarts, so what do you expect?". She took a sip of her juice, and watched as Arden went to change her book. Celia loved reading. She read loads of books, muggle and magical. She was intrigued as to the books that Arden hd been reading. "So, what's that you're reading, then? What's it about?". She sat there, drinking her juice, and waited for a reply. ((Don't worry...I'm pretty hopeless with replies nowadays, anyway )
