Aurora walked the lonely corridors of Hogwarts. She was just so depressed lately...what with hardly any friends and no parents to console her.
Don't be a thickhead Aurora! You do have parents! They just...don't care about you anymore! Ever since Aurora was told about her real father, the connection between her and her parents dissapeered. It was as if she didn't belong to them anymore. At first, Mrs. Augustine had tried to write to her, but eventually stopped after Aurora started asking questions as to who her father was.
Aurora turned a corner and entered the library where she sat down and carefully removed the scrapbook from her bag. She opened it to a random page. It was a picture of her mother and father standing on a stage kissing, with a crown on each of their heads. A poster in the background read "South Side Memorial High: See you in ten years!!!!!!" The photo on the back was dated almost exactly ten years ago. The South Side Memorial High School's ten year reunion was two days from today! Aurora had to go, she just had to! She had to meet her father. She ran down the corridor to her common room to get her things packed, but soon bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're going!" Rachel snapped as someone flew into her in the corridor. She rubbed her head in frustration before turning to the girl. She was a Slytherin and looked like she was in her year, but other than that Rachel knew nothing about her. Glancing over her, Rachel was pleased with what she saw. The girl was pretty, and seemed friendly enough. And Rachel had never had a Slytherin for a friend before, although she had always wanted one. They were generally good in fights. Thinking quickly, Rachel decided to be friendly now, and if the girl turned out to not be friend material, they could just go their separate ways. Liking that plan, she flashed an apologetic look at the girl.
"Sorry, didn't get much sleep last night. I'm Rachel Mason," she said, smiling.

Kee made her way down the hallway, her brown hair swinging as she walked with her arms hugged tightly around her books which were smashed to her chest. She just needed to get to the library. Only, there was a distraction. One minute someone was snapping at a girl, and the next she was being sweet. Kee raised an eyebrow and loosed her grip on her books as she watched this scene unfold in front of her. If she had been more social, she might have said hello, but instead what came out of her mouth was; "Are you bipolar?" The question was aimed toward the suddenly sweet girl, who she recognized in her year and house. In fact, she recognized both of them. Kee took a step closer, "I mean, you had this snarl on your face and now you're angelic?"
Kee smirked and flipped her hair over her shoulder, suddenly realizing the Slytherin side coming out of her. "Maybe you should get your head examined, you wouldn't want that sweet side to come out to a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw."

Rachel looked up at the new girl in disdain. She recognised her as a Slytherin, and in her year, but from what she had just said, she didn't hold much hope for her.
"Excuse me, but bipolar is a serious medical condition, and I don't appreciate you using it as an insult. You should be more considerate to people who actually do suffer from the illness," she said sweetly. Immediately she disliked this girl. Who did she think she was, telling Rachel what to do?
"And I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what your last comment means. Could you please explain? You should learn how to express yourself a little bit better. It helps you to function properly in society," she asked, smirking. The last thing Rachel was going to do was let this imputent girl get away with insulting her.

Kee raised her eyebrows, "Trust me, girly, I know what bipolar is. I have family friends who are bipolar." Taking a step closer to the girl, her mysterious blue eyes flickered with hatred for her. Honestly, people didn't know what it meant to be a decent Slytherin or one who could at least deliver some good insults. She cast a look at the other Slytherin and then turned her attention to the girl who thought she was better. Kee sneered and turned around, about to walk away when the girl said something about learning how to express herself in a manner that wasn't hard to understand. Kee stopped walking and turned back around slowly.
"It's not my problem if your mind," Kee reached out and flicked the girl's forehead, "is too minute to comprehend anything anyone says. But," she smirked, "if you need me to spell out what I meant, I will. It means, that talking with Hufflepuffs or Ravenclaws or Gryffindors is below a pure Slytherin unless they are doing it for a very good reason. And... I'm quite sure that any joyous chatting you do with any other house, doesn't have a good reason attached to it at all."

Rachel refused to flinch when the impossible girl flicked her on the forehead. She wouldn't let this disgusting girl win. She honestly couldn't stand her - she was almost as bad as Rayne. Actually no, nobody could be as bad as Rayne.
"if you need me to spell out what I meant, I will. It means, that talking with Hufflepuffs or Ravenclaws or Gryffindors is below a pure Slytherin unless they are doing it for a very good reason. And... I'm quite sure that any joyous chatting you do with any other house, doesn't have a good reason attached to it at all." The girl said. Rachel raised her eyebrows. Honestly, how did this girl even get into Slytherin? She had no class, no subtlety. What type of idiot flicked another girl, who was obviously of a higher status, power and wealth, in the forehead? An idiot.
"Honey, I know it might be hard for you to comprehend, but true Slytherin's hide their reasons for talking to people from other houses until the very end. And, as a true Slytherin, I'm actually taking your last comment as a compliment. It makes me feel good to know that others are noticing my good work. Oh, and in case you hadn't picked up on it, this girl I was talking to is in fact a Slytherin as well. But it's OK if you didn't realise, you're probably not used to the whole "housing system" yet." Rachel smirked.

"Honey," Cherokee sneered as her eyes stayed rooted on the other girl, "Let me clue you in on a little something. You wouldn't know the meaning of true Slytherin if it came and smacked you upside the head. Being a true Slytherin doesn't mean you hide anything. Hiding things is cowardice and immature. If you are so mature, as I'm sure you believe you are with your idiotic notions, then you would understand that being honest will get you the effect you wanted ten times easier than being deceitful will. Of course," Kee looked the girl up and down, "You probably wouldn't know the meaning of honesty. You probably come from a background of liars and deceits."
"As for your good work," Kee continued, her eyes never leaving the girls, "I'm pretty sure other Slytherins wouldn't consider it good work. Probably repulsive and... disgusting. So I wouldn't take it as a big compliment, honey." When the girl pointed out the other girl as indeed a Slytherin, Kee feigned shock, "No, I didn't realize that." The she sneered again, "Of course I realized it, you moron! Which was my whole point. If youre going to be hot and then cold to your fellow housemate, how are you playing the other houses? It's filthy."

Rachel stared the girl down. "In my experience, honesty never achieved anything. Truth is cowardly. By telling me what you think of me, you have given me power. I now know that what I did was so great that somebody went as far as to hate me for it. Who's going to stop me doing it again? Lies are the greatest weapon a Slytherin can have, and coming from a long line of Slytherins, I know what being a Slytherin means. My mother was a Slytherin. My father was a Slytherin. My grandparents were all Slytherins. All of their parents were Slytherins. My entire family line are Slytherins. I know what Slytherins are, and my dear, you are not a great Slytherin." She took a step forward towards the girl.
"And my good work? If other Slytherins consider it repulsive and...uh...disgusting," she said, mimicking the girl, "then I'm honoured. Do you really think I care what you think of me? What the other girls think of me? I wouldn't give you that power," she said smirking. Then, giving a condescending smile to the girl, Rachel shook her head sadly. "Honey, you are not worth my time. Your family is not worthy my family's time. You are wrong, I am right. You are pathetic." With that, she gave a broad smile. "Got it? Or will I have to explain it to you again. Slowly, so you can understand those big words. Like 'honoured'?"

Kee listened to the girl as she continued to ramble on, and on, and on. Was there no end to her pointless chatter? She rolled her eyes when the girl finished and then she stood there, and then she laughed. She laughed so hard that it brought tears to her eyes, "I..." she continued to laugh as she tried to get words out. When she could control herself she shook her head, and wiped the tears from her eyes, "Oh, excuse me, I just haven't laughed that hard in awhile. I don't see why though, because honestly, if there are plenty of idiots in this world like you I should be getting a good laugh every five minutes or so." Kee fixed her hair and then let out a small sigh.
"Look, darling, truth hurts. Honesty kills. A simple truth could hurt worse than a hateful lie. Perhaps if you tried to be honest more often you would know that. But don't worry, I don't expect much from you." Kee smirked and shifted her books to her other arm while her eyes flickered from the pathetic excuse in front of her to the girl in the background. Her eyes returned to the pathetic excuse and she stood there, letting silence fall around them. "And, if I'm not worth your time, then why are you bothering to continue to reply to me. If you were better than me, you would have walked away by now." She turned on her heel again and started off in the direction she had been going, when she reached the corner, she paused and looked back at them, "Piece of advice, when you get caught into an argument with someone. Don't pretend to be better than them if you plan on continuing a pathetic and stupid argument." She smiled sickingly sweet and continued to walk, throwing a "ta ta!" over her shoulder.

Rachel looked at the girl in confusion. That girl was insane! First, she comes in and starts throwing bipolar insults at her, and then said she knew people who had bipolar. If she did, then why was she purposefully using the illness as an insult?
Then she started insulting her, and then when Rachel had the gall to reply and put her in her place, she starts laughing like a maniac. And going on about honesty? What was this girl on? If she was truthful, she would admit that the reason she hated Rachel was not because Rachel had snapped at the first girl and she couldn't take it. The reason, Rachel suspected, that the girl hated her was because she hated herself, and her life. The girl was pathetic, and she must know that. And one day she would realise that having Rachel as an enemy was not the smartest thing to do.
And it wasn't Rachel's style to walk away. Although it was obviously this girl's way of dealing with things. The most pathetic, vile, disgusting way of taking care of business.
"Cheerio!" Rachel called after her sarcastically before turning to the first girl. "Ugh. The people they let into Slytherin these days. I feel sorry for her," she said, smiling in pity.

Patricia watched in excitement of the fight, she laughed, a few times. For the joy of it.
After Rachel walked away from the girl. Patricia ran up to Rachel with a demonic smile. And stood right in front of her
“Hey what was that about? It was very entertaining if I mite add. Almost like a live show. I am Patricia by the way, Patricia Dawsinson.” She held out her hand

Auora watched as the event unfolded before her. Too much was happening in such a little space of time! First, she was yelled at for bumping into a Slytherin girl her age, then the same girl starts acting all sweet and friendly. Then, some other Slytherin third year walks into the picture, and starts yelling at the other girl, the second stranger leaves all mad at the other, and a new one comes along!
Aurora could'nt take this right now! She had to go pack her things! She couldn't miss the train, or else she wouldn't get to see her dad! Athough, this was a slight change...in about ten minutes, Aurora had met a couple possible friends, people who actually had the nerve needed to be a Slytherin. Aurora decided she'd talk to the girls before she really decided what she should do.
"Tell me about it, I mean what was her problem?" Aurora said. "She really had nothing to do with this...talk about nosy!" Aurora noticed that she was sounding a bit fake at the moment, but what she was saying was all true. That girl had no right to just butt in their conversation. Anyone stupid enough to do that was just looking for a fight.
"I'm Aurora Augustine, by the way...you look familiar, but I don't think we've met."

Rachel looked at Patricia, wondering whether this girl was worth talking to. "Yes, it was rather entertaining, wasn't it?" She said coolly, watching the girl. Then, deciding that even if the girl was a bit...below her, she couldn't resist the opportunity to bag Cherokee. "The nerve that girl had," she laughed, raising her eyebrows, "she really needs to learn not to rise to the bait. I can't believe how many shots she let me take because she couldn't shut her mouth."
Rachel had enjoyed her little exchange with Cherokee; it had given her a bit of excitement. It was a pity the girl was such a loser. And the first girl, who had just introduced herself as Aurora, confirmed this to Rachel. "Hi Aurora. I don't think we've met properly, but I'm pretty sure I've seen you around in the dorms or Common Room. I'm Rachel Mason," she said, offering her hand. Sighing, Rachel flicked her hair back and turned to both of the girls. She loved being the centre of attention, especially after her victory. "It's such a shame that people like that are actually in Hogwarts at all. They're so rude, and uncouth, and...well, a bit sad really," she said. "Don't you agree?"

Patricia looked at Auora, contemplating what she said. And smiled “I agree with her. That girl really should have been minding her own business. I mean who is she to say what a pure Slytherin is? You can still talk to Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws and everybody. It is not like you have to hate them. I mean, I understand if you were raised to hate them and all. Then you sort of do not even have a choice. But it doesn’t mean you have to…, for instance my Aunt” She thought about it than stopped… “Well never mind. You two know what I mean right?” She asked holding out her hands as if looking for backup on what she is trying to get through.
And waited for a response than she put her first on her waist and waited

"Absolutely!" Rachel agreed with Patricia, smiling. This girl wasn't too bad after all. Slytherin's were complex creatures, and Rachel wouldn't make the mistake of expecting them all to act the same way. That was irresponsible, and could lead to a downfall. "She didn't even seem to notice I was baiting her half the time, which is a bit sad," Rachel laughed. Then she turned to Aurora and smiled. "You should've joined in, Aurora. It was quite fun, actually," she said, giggling. "You too, Patricia," she said, flashing a dazzling smile. Rachel was really enjoying herself. The fight had been good, but the adoration at the end was the best. She sighed. Slytherins were the most fun.

Patricia smiled a lovely smile back at Rachel and nodded. She laughed. “Next we should all get in on it. I mean seriously, put her in her place” she said while putting hair behind her ears smiling, at aura and Rachel. She turned to Aurora. “Hey what is your name again I didn’t quite catch it love
