Sora was sitting in the library looking out the window. He was wereing an outfite of black shorts with silver chains and a red tee shirt. A golden locket was around his neck as he sighed doodling on a pad infront of him. He was waiting for someone to come in to talk to him.

Ivy's finger traced along the bookshelf, lingering on a few of the spines presenting themselves to her. That was, it did until one of the books shivered on contact and she remembered where she was. It still seemed rather surreal, somewhere that you used to stray into and get chased out of again by Madam Pince, but she was here. The Restricted Section. And on that note, it was best not to touch the books unless absolutely necessary. Some of them might take objection to it in rather unpleasant ways. Ivy was a sensible person, and she was cautious so that she thought about these things before they happened. She was only in here to fulfil a request of Professor Flitwick's who wanted some book or other. Ivy was somewhat curious as to why it needed to be put in the Restricted Section, but of course she would have to contain herself and not peek at the book. It wouldn't be right to do anything else.
Ivy picked up the relevant book as she finally located it and hastily took it to Madam Pince, who still looked about as surly as she had done when Ivy gave her the note of permission from Professor Flitwick in the first place. She was rather pleased to get away from the formidable librarian and tuck the book safely in her bag. That done, she went to find herself a seat with a view to doing some work or some quiet reading here. The normal section of the library seemed somehow much more welcoming now, a forcefully hushed background buzz contrasting with the creepy and unnatural silence of the Restricted Section. Ivy was glad to be out of there, no matter how exciting it had been (in a juvenile way) to be admitted into a place of such mystery. There weren't many empty tables, so she sat down at a table where a smaller boy was already sitting. She took a pencil and a pad of parchment out of her own bag, looking up at him more than once with a frown.
Finally she could restrain herself no longer. "Aren't you a bit cold in shorts?" she asked, some concern evident in her voice although she wasn't really too worried. She looked down at her own jeans. Yes, she was wearing a black T-shirt because it was sunny outside and correspondingly almost hot as sunshine meant it was at this time of year, but she wasn't about to bring out a pair of shorts. It would have to be baking hot before she'd do that. "You look a bit like you're dreaming of a desert island." she added, slightly worried that he might think she was being mean. She wasn't trying to be; with new people Ivy did find it hard to strike a balance between being outgoing and not speaking too many of her first impressions of them.

Sora looked up and smied, "No i'm not cold at all" he said touching the locket around his neck.
"Ya, more or less that's what i was daydreaming about" sora said grinning "Hi, I'm Sora" Sora said with a grinn.

Solaro was rushing towards the libary, she needed to ask Madam Pince if it was OK for her to take out a 16th book, when she triped over a 5th years seat... "OH NO" she thought. She had heard that 5th years were paticulary nasty when disturbed. She looked up a the girl.... to her horror she saw a big shiny prefect badge glittering on her t-shirt. "s..s..sorry.." she stuttered out, the last thing she needed was some sort of punishment. Solaro had so much homework to do, the mix of having a very bad memory and a love of reading was not a good one when it came to homework, only last night she had read for 5 hours before remembering that she had 2 whole essays to do.
"eh... I.... I am ...eh.... really sorry" She shut her eyes waiting for the blow to land, here comes a detention.

Ashakiran was on her way to the library, she needed several books and figured that she could do her homework there to. As she walked occasionally snapping at first years or avoiding people on the floor she thought "i wonder if there's anyone in the library to talk to, probably no Slytherins though, pity, i might humor myself if there's any first years" she smiled evilly to herself as she thought of the possibilities with first years, they just couldn't realize when someone was playing with them, some did though.
Ash noticed some students sitting down and decided to join them. There was a prefect, "Hufflepuff" she murmured correctly, "3rd year, oh it's Solaro, i like her, bad luck she's falling over the prefect girl and a Hufflepuff FIRST YEAR, nice."
She walked toward the table having already entered the room half ducking to avoid Madam Pince and walking up to greet them all. "Well HELLO Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs" she said sarcastically, seating herself "you okay Solaro?"
((OOC-Solaro this is set when we're friends so after the courtyard post i guess))

"hey Solaro," Ash called, "I don't think you're in trouble, Puffy prefect here" she indicated Ivy, "doesn't have the heart to put Gryffindors in detention."

Ivy simply gave the other boy a small, puzzled smile. She wasn't sure if he was determined to be opaque or whether his vague comment was an invitation for her to probe further. She frowned a little to herself and started dotting the pad in front of her, making minute marks of lead and occasionally puncturing through to the next layer because she preferred using sharp pencils and a few accidental holes were inevitable when you started stabbing at paper with those, however gently. She glanced up at Sora a couple of times more, trying to decide whether to speak her mind or whether that would be unwelcome, before settling with simply telling him her name with a normal smile. She might have gone further and voiced some sort of question or comment, but was rather distracted from doing that when she heard a bump behind her and turned round to see a terrified and apparently apologetic Gryffindor. Ivy looked at her in some puzzlement.
"Um... did you do something wrong?" she asked, blinking at the expression of fear that, being something she was completely unaccustomed to, had thrown her a little off guard. "I mean, I'll give you a detention if you can persuade me you did something wrong enough, but as far as I can see you merely almost hurt yourself, which... well, you are okay aren't you?" She was about to tell the girl, who looked disproportionately shaken, to take a seat and recover herself, when her own stress levels soared as high as she could get a book to Levitate with Wingardium Leviosa. Ivy had never been good with large groups containing people she didn't know. Two people she could handle. Three was getting a bit much. Plus, the noise! This was supposed to be a library.
"Hi..." she returned the greeting with a lack of enthusiasm to rival the girl's. "Mind keeping it down a bit? There are ways to notprovoke Madam Pince." She'd barely finished speaking - in fact, she might have barely started - before the Gryffindor girl had excused herself just as puzzlingly as she'd presented herself and attempted escape from the crazy scene to elsewhere in the library. Ivy could sympathise. She just wished the Gryffindor had done a better job of escaping - because she'd left her book behind. She must have dropped it when she fell over. With a sigh, Ivy picked the book up from the floor and followed the girl who was still attempting to make herself scarce. Ivy smiled and handed the book back when she reached the Gryffindor, deciding not to say anything this time because that hadn't seemed to help with deflustering her previously. Then she turned to her other companion, who had just succeeded in seriously annoying her. Ivy when incensed was not the easiest person to know, even if her generally unassuming personality did still manage to remain dominant.
"Do you call that keeping it down?" she asked. "I don't. I don't have the heart to give Solaro detention when I don't consider her to have done anything wrong, either." she said, her dislike strengthening by the second even as she substituted in the name that the girl had used. "I do however, know what I won't accept and that kind of uncalled for contempt is something I won't. You can have detention tomorrow. Meet me in the Entrance Hall at half past three in the afternoon. I don't recommend trying to skip it - I don't care who you think you are, I still doubt your dormmates would be very happy to see your house slip even more pointswise." She glared at the younger girl. It wasn't something that many people who knew her would call characteristic, but Charlie had commented once on the fact she could be fierce when she was provoked. A while ago, now, but she still remembered what he'd said.
((People... have you seen the owl I sent you? I'd appreciate it if you could wait in posting! I'll edit this post with mine once I have the time to reply over the weekend... not that long to wait, no? And then I'll post in the owl again to let you know that it's edited.))
