Aden's foot tapped lightly against the stone floor of the empty corridor. He sat upon a simple chair, his back against the wall, arms folded across his chest and his eyes closed as he awaited the arrival of the select few. He wondered how many would actually show up, the sign he had put up in the Common Room had been rather vague, but he knew that it would perk a few curious minds up and they would come running if only to be a little higher in his eyes. Not that Aden really cared much for the younger pest's that had infiltrated Slytherin House during his stay. But they were Slytherin none the less, and the least thing Aden could do as their 7th year Prefect was to teach them how to become true Slytherin's so they wouldn't be an Eye-sore for society.
A grin formed on his face, at least thats what most of them thought was going to transpire here today. The sign that he had assembled and set near the entrance of the Common Room had read:
Attention all Slytherins! 5th Year and Below. It's time for you all to learn something that the Professors of this school can't teach you. It is time for you all to learn what it means to be a Slytherin and all the responsibilities that come with it! Meet me at the 2nd floor East Corridor before Breakfast. Any who choose to ignore this message or don't show up. I will find you, and the consequences will be great.
Aden McGrogan, Slytherin Prefect.
The appointed time and place had come so now Aden sat at the designated meeting place and awaited the arrival of the student's that had accepted his invitation. What a day they were in for.
((Ok, for those that do decide to show up. Post only once! I repeat, once. I don't want two characters to start up a conversation and than there are 18 posts with only 2 charries and nothing has even started yet. If you post and one of your friends is there, you may post your first piece of the conversation in your post, but do not respond until I have posted again. Thanks))

Rachel walked briskly through the corridor, wondering what she would find. The sign on the Common Room had been slightly threatening, but that's not why she had decided to show up. It also wasn't the thought of being taught to be a proper Slytherin that interested her either. Although she loved her house, she was becoming bored with the concept of how a Slytherin should behave. The reason she was here was simply because she was curious. The sign had been vague and it slightly unnerved her, and she knew as soon as she read it she had to attend. There was no way she was going to miss something like this.
She stopped walking when she saw Aden, a Slytherin Prefect, sitting in a chair. She passed a cool gaze over him, and refused to let him intimidate her with his grin. She glanced around and, realising she was the first to arrive, walked up to him. "Hello," she said, smiling and raising her eyebrows. "What have you got in store for us today?" She asked, smiling sweetly.

Patricia glanced at the sign on the common room door. "oh this sounds like fun." she mumbled to herself.
What it means to be a true Slytherin.I wonder....
She walked into the corridor. Were she spotted, Rachel. she gave her sweet smile. then glanced over at Aden. "Rachel Aden" she then found a seat over by Aden and sat down.

Aden sat there for a few minutes, the appropriate meeting time would be very soon. It was just than that the first to arrive turned the corner. Aden's head did not turn but he did watch the approach out of the corner of his eye. It was a girl, third year by the looks of her, maybe even 4th. It didn't matter to him. She spoke to him and asked him what he had in store for them. Aden easily held back his grin. You'll see. He thought to himself but did not answer her. Just than another girl appeared, this one seemed to be around the same age as the first to arrive. Aden glanced at her and once again did not answer when she spoke. He did however note her greeting toward the first girl. According to the second her name was Rachel. Not that Aden cared much for her name, but it might come in handy in the future.
The three sat in silence and Aden waited a few more minutes. It didn't look like any else would show. To bad for them, this meant that they would be hunted down and given a private lesson. With a sigh Aden slowly stood up from his chair and looked down upon the girls. "Alright, let me start of by saying this. I care not for what your names are. This does not make us friends so don't let me catch you greeting me in the halls if we do happen to pass each other in the halls. If you wish to speak to me, you'll have to prove yourself worthy, and let me warn you. The list of people to have achieved this is very short indeed. There will be no talking about either of you during this little....." He searched for the right word. "Trip. Only speak if, and only if, I ask you a question directly."
He let out another side and lifted his foot behind him. Kicking at a brick in the second row from the floor. With a heavy rumbled the piece of the wall behind him slid open to reveal a dark passage beyond. He pulled out his wand and turned to face the opening. "Now I suggest you keep up. If you get lost I can't guarantee I'll be able to find you. Lumos." With that he entered the passage and began to move down deeper into the passage. They walked for many minutes, turning this way and that. Along the way Aden opened up many more secret passages and took them. They passed many forked tunnels and caverns, but Aden continued to move, seeming as if he was picking directions at random. Finally, once Aden was sure that his group was good and confused he stopped in a small cavern.
The cavern had only 3 exits. The one they had just entered from, and two up ahead. One going left, the other going right. He stopped there and turned to look at his group. "Alright, are we all ready?"

Rachel raised an eyebrow at the boy's arrogance at first not bothering to answer her question, and second refusing to acknowledge his own house as aquaintances. But she remained silent. No point in putting up a fuss. There were worst things in the world than moody prefects, and he was a Slytherin. Rachel listened distractedly as he continued to talk, wrinkling her brow in annoyance when he instructed them not to speak. Who did he think he was? Who did he think they were? Did he think they were some naughty children who wouldn't know how to count to five? Still silent, she decided to obey him for now. However, if he did anything stupid, she wasn't going to keep doing so.
Rachel watched as he kicked a heavy brick, and followed him through the passage. At first she tried to get her bearings and remember where she had been, but after a while she gave up on the idea. There were too many twists and turns, and Rachel thought she could better use her time. She glanced at Patrica, wondering how she felt being so close to Rachel after what had happened. Were they still best friends? As juvenile as it may seem, she couldn't bear it if Patrica cut off that tie. Especially over something as silly as that. The only two people that counted in Rachel's world were Richard and Patrica, and she couldn't lose them. Not when she just found them.
Eventually Aden led them to a small cavern with three exits. Rachel glanced at the other two, and then behind her, and wondered what the prefect was up to. And where he was going to take them. "As ready as I'll ever be," Rachel said simply, staring Aden in the eye.

Patricia watched as Aden led them through hidden passages. She was enjoying this. Her mother told her about going on the exact same trip, with her father. Patricia of course never believed it, But now to know that it truly existed, was unbelievable.
Then Aden lead Rachel and her to a cavern that had three exits. Patricia smiled out of excitement. That saw Aden stern look. Her went serious.
She looked at Rachel them back at Aden. Patricia was going to answer but thought it best not say anything and just go along with it. She couldn't wait to see what was going to happen.

Aden couldn't hold back a grin as he looked upon the two girls in front of him. One of them, Rachel, gave him verbal confirmation, the other merely had a look on her face saying she was ready. It was time to get the party started. Aden held his wand so that the light filtered lightly through the entire cavern as he looked at the two. "Alright, than I suppose I'll start out by saying this piece of advice. You can't go wrong if you go right." With that he winked and suddenly the light from his wand died, throwing the cavern into darkness.
After a few seconds a soft blue glow became apparent. The glow came from a piece of parchment that lay on the ground. Aden had disappeared and was no where to be found. On the parchment was written a note:
Good day to you all. It would appear that you are stuck down in these caverns. If you would like to make it back up to the castle you would do well to discover the clues and find the correct passage. If you do not wish to participate, feel free to turn around go back the way we came, if you can find your way that is. Just know, that if you go that way, there is no guarantee that I will ever find you again.
If you chose to stay, here is your situation. Before you are two passages. One will lead you to the next clue, the other won't. I have already given you your clue as to which is the correct choice. Choose wisely. Have fun.
Aden.
((From here on I will post the consequences of your decisions and any clues that your characters happen to find. Please make sure you indicate clearly what choice your character has made. Happy adventuring.))

Patricia picked up the note and read it. "we are stuck hear."she sighed. She handed the note to Rachel. "I think we should stay and find are way back. "Come on Rache, for old time sake" she with a smirk. And whipped out her wand. "Lumos" She grinned a wicked Grin at Rachel "This will be fun" She said raising her eyebrows

Rachel glanced around, waiting for her eyes to adjust to the sudden darkness. She laughed as she read the note, rolling her eyes. "We are indeed stuck here," she said grinning, and then turned to look at Patrica. "And I do believe we are more than equipped to find our way back. We did make it to the Forbidden Forest that time," she said, winking. Looking at the parchment again, she smiled. "Well, obviously we're meant to go down through the passage to the right. 'You can't go wrong if you go right' is almost certainly the clue for which passage to take, since it refers to a direction," she said, shaking her head. The clues had to get harder, surely. Rachel looked at Patrica cheekily. "Let's go right," she said, smiling, before walking towards the passage on the right.

Patrcia nodded with a smile. "Were shall we go first?"s he asked with a sigh. She was trying to avoid what happend last week with Richard. She hasn't spoken to Rachel since then. She knew it would be hard to work with Rachel. Sure they were best friends. Well they used to be that is. She knew Rachel was mad at her for what she did to Richard. She was Praying a fight would arrouse between them.

Rachel nodded. "Yep, definately the passage on the left. We should continue that until we find the next clue," she said firmly. She snuck a glance at Patrica and sighed. This was going to be a long field trip. Not only were the pair technically not talking to each other, but they also hadn't sorted out what had happened the week before. It had been a long week. Rachel had been missing her best friend terribly, but still couldn't find a way to forgive her for what she had done. Which was quite rich coming from her, Rachel thought, after she herself had betrayed Patrica first.
Rachel began walking towards the passage to the right, and hoped Patrica was following. She didn't want to get into another argument just then. It wouldn't do either of them any good. Neither spoke as they walked, and although Rachel found it suppressing, it was a welcome change. She could still feel the bruise from when Trish had attacked her when they last spoke, and Rachel wasn't looking forward to that happening again. Rubbing her back, she kept walking, still trying to ignore what had happened, and Patrica herself.
After a while, even Rachel had to admit the silence had become too much. The girls had once been inseparable, and had trusted each other with everything. Had it all ended because Rachel had admitted to liking Patrica's boyfriend? Rachel whirled around to face Patrica, unable to take it, or Patrica's blame, any longer. "I know that this isn't the best situation right now, but I hope we can be mature enough to put it behind us so that we can get out of here quickly. Is that OK with you?" She asked briskly, narrowing her eyes. Rachel hated it when she got like this, but she couldn't help it.

Patricia Glared at Rachel, then nodded. She really missed Rachel. She hated not having anyone to talk to other than Blake. Nobody in the house liked her since the forbidden forest incident. And well she really wanted her best friend back. Then they came to a fork in the rode. "Sorry about your back" Patricia mumbled. "Witch way should we take?" she said looking at both passages.

"Don't worry about it," Rachel said briskly, referring to the bruise on her back. It had gone down a lot since the Courtyard Incident, but she still didn't feel like she had forgiven Patricia completely. All Rachel had done was defend Richard. For once, she hadn't even thrown a punch. But it was over and done with, she reminded herself grimly. There was no use reliving it.
As they reached the two passages, Rachel looked at Patricia and sighed. "Well, the right one, obviously. Aden wouldn't have given us that clue if it didn't refer to a direction to take. You can't go wrong if you go right. Seems pretty simple," she said, walking into the passage. Rachel turned around and motioned for Patricia. "Coming?" She asked, before walking deeper through the passage, waiting for their next clue.

The two of you move down the corridor. The corridor seems to go on forever and ever and shows no signs of stopping as it twists it way this way and that. After nearly 30 minutes of walking you two come to a dead end. The wall in front of you has this drawing on it: The arrows glowed green and pointed at bricks, each glowing green. Next to the picuture another glowing note hung on the wall. Congratulations. I guess my first impression of you was wrong. Your next clue has to do with this diagram you see here. Doesn't it remind you of something? Anyway only one of the four bricks will open the wall onto the correct path. To figure out which brick it is you must first discover what the Diagram is, and than figure out this riddle:
If you were standing directly on Antarctica's South Pole facing north, which direction would you travel if you took one step backward?
God luck
