Charlie had kept the rough map folded up in his pocket ever since Moody had given it back to him, with his next orders. Charlie was to lead an operation, his first. He wouldn’t admit that he was nervous, but mainly because he wanted to show everyone that he was capable of more than just dragon-keeping. Charlie intended for the whole operation to go well, but he knew that intentions weren’t what always mattered. He had been given the operation, it was a simple one, but then even the most simplest of things could turn tragic as long as there was a remote chance that there would be Death Eaters around. He looked at the list of people that Moody had given him. It was a list suggesting the best people for the operation. He had already been told that he might be working with his mother, brother, and father. Charlie could handle that. He didn’t have much choice. Charlie knew his mother all but too well, once asked to help with the investigation, and possible rescue of some missing children, there would be no way to stop her from going. But then, Charlie wasn’t so sure he would want to stop her, his mother did tend to be very protecting, and very capable of handling her wand and herself in some of the stickiest of situations. Charlie knew that unless the Ministry kept him too busy, that his dad would be there as well, and the only thing that was likely to stop Bill would be Fleur, but that didn’t happen on the last mission, so Charlie was fairly sure he could count on his brother as well. He had thought carefully before sending owls out to the ones that he needed to contact for the mission. He had decided on sending owls to Kingsley Shacklebolt, and Dedalus Diggle, and expected their replies any moment. He had sat down at the kitchen table while pondering the next move that the group would make, and waiting on the replies.
Charlie decided to look at the map once more. He knew that he needed to be ready for this, and he wanted to accomplish it with as little trouble as possible. He stared at the map ponderously. He needed to figure out the best route to the house that the trail on the map led too. It led from the house that had previously been investigated around Hogsmeade and off into a small village near by. Charlie knew that the best route would be to follow the map exactly, but he pondered the ideas of “What Ifs”. What if the map had been left intentionally, as a trap for part of the Order, or What if they met Death Eaters along the way? Charlie needed this mission to run smoothly. He wasn’t sure why he felt such a need, but it was there and there was no need in denying it. He got so lost in his thoughts, that he barely heard the peck of the two owls at the window behind him. The owls pecked a bit harder and Charlie finally heard them. Turning, he noticed that the two owls both had letters addressed to him. Taking the letters, he noticed whom they were from. Both Kingsley Shacklebolt and Dedalus Diggle had agreed to help with the mission. This pleased Charlie for now he had two more for the team. He counted the group to see if there was anyone else he needed to contact, and he realized that he had enough members of the Order to go along with the operation. After getting the letters, he went out to the garden and met his mother so that he could tell her about the Operation and that he needed her to join them. As he expected, his mother agreed, and he went off to find his brother and father. After finding them, he told them about it as well, and hoped that they would agree. Charlie had told everyone the location near the previous operation, so that they could meet and get this Operation in order.
Charlie headed back to the house that he had found the map in. He shuddered to think of the bodies that Moody had found in the basement, and the Devil’s Snare that he had encountered in the attic prior to finding the map. Checking his pocket again, he pulled out the map and waited on the others to arrive. Moments after, he heard the sound of apperations, turning to look; he discovered that it was Kingsley Shacklebolt, and Dedalus Diggle. He greeted the two with a half smile, a hello and a handshake. Then he took the time to show them the map, and let them look at it while they waited on the others. He thought it best to fill them all in on the full operation after they all got there.

Molly had known for days now that there was something weighing heavily on her son's mind. She didn't ask, though no matter how much she had wanted to. A mother was supposed to be able to comfort their children anytime they needed it, but she knew Charlie well enough to know that he would come to her in his own time. There was no way to force it out of him, for he was one of her more stubborn children. She decided to get her mind off of her distraction, and go out and tend to her garden.
Molly could spend days in the garden. There was always something to do in it. Gnomes had to be gotten out, and plants needed to be taken care off. Busy, busy, busy. There was no better way to be. Always taking care of something important. Molly had always been this way, she enjoyed it. She didn't think that she would ever want to just sit around and have any of her children or a house-elf do her work for her. She would just rather do it herself.
As Molly checked the plants for gnomes, she noticed that Charlie had come out to talk to her. She knew this moment would happen but she also knew that she just had to be patient about it as well. He explained that there was a new operation, and that Moody had asked him to lead it. He explained that for the task he would need her help as well as his father's and brother's. Molly instantly agreed to help him no matter what the task was. It was her job not only as his mother but as a memeber of the Order, to help when called upon. Charlie gave her the details of when and where they would all be meeting, and bade her farewell, for he was off to ask for his brother's and father's help. Molly simply nodded at his details and farewell, assuring him that she would be where he specified later that day. Molly finished up in her garden, and went inside to prepare herself.
Molly had decided the best way to get to the location of the house that Charlie had specified was apperation. That would get her there in mere seconds, and she would be able to leave just moments before the meeting. Checking to see that it was time for her to leave already, she made sure that she had everything she would need, which was basically just her wand. She stepped outside, and walked down the lane from the house. As soon as she knew she was outside of their own intruder charms, she disappeared. Moments later, Molly found herself looking at the house that Charlie had mentioned. This must be the place she thought to herself. Turning she noticed that she was right, for there stood her son, and two other Order Members. Walking up to the group, she greeted the three and then looked at the map that they were huddled around.

The alarm began to wail...
It wasn't the first time, nor would it be the last. An alarm in the early A.M. only meant one thing, and that was that the Order was calling. Bill Weasley's arm snaked out from underneath the covers and was able to find the button that stopped the infernal wailing. Turning over, he began to rub Fleur's back lightly. Fleur fitted in her sleep for a few moments, and then succumbed back to her sweet dreams. Getting up slowly, he stood up and stretched his weary back. Bill quietly found his pants and shirt in the dark. Grabbing his wand off the bedstand with his right, he opened the door to the bedroom with his left. The creaking of the door woke Fleur. He could see her flaxen head raise from the pillow as she sleepily said, " Bill, whazgoinon?"
" Nothing, dear. Go to sleep." A lie. He gulped at his own words and soothed her back to sleep. He hated lying to Fleur, but after the arrest at St. Mungo's, she had begged him not to do anything else with the Order. He could remember the conversation vividly. There was his wife, tears falling down her cheeks, telling him that she wanted him home. No more of these romps risking his life to save the world. She could still hear her accented voice in his mind, " Let the aurors handle it. You're not a hero. Besides, we are going to need you."
Bill chuckled. " We." What a way to find out you were going to be a family man, huh? He still hadn't told his family; nor would he. He sort of let it slip to Charlie the other day when he returned the Owl. " I should be there. Fleur has been getting up sick in the mornings. As long as she doesn't need me, I will make it." Hopefully he hadn't noticed. However, he couldn't risk telling anyone in these dark times. What if Fleur became a target? It wasn't like Voldemort didn't know who was in the Order. It would be so easy one night to sneak over to their little Flat when he was gone one day and harm her. Fleur was a competent witch, but could she take out what would probably be several Death Eaters coming after them?
This thought stopped him as he was about to pick up cloak that was hanging over the top of an armchair in his living room. His long, red hair came loose from the hair tie as he shook the bad thoughts out of his head. Making sure he locked the door behind him, he stepped out into the cold morning air. With a small pop, he left his house. After a nanosecond, he appeared in front of the house that his brother had indicated. A small congregation had formed, including Dedalus and Kingsley. " Hello all. I hope I'm not too late."

Arthur looked at his desk, which was cluttered with papers, files, and forms. Charlie had just been to see him, explaining that the Order had a new mission assigned. He had sounded like he anticipated this move; Arthur realized it was because he would be in charge of this mission. For the first time, his son would be doing this. Arthur felt immensely proud of Charlie and all that he had done, but at the moment worry consumed that. This mission could end up being a trap, especially because of the map Charlie had found. It could have been left behind by some thoughtful Death Eater. Arthur succeeded in shrugging of the feeling for the moment - lately the Order missions had gone well. He remembered the latest one with Molly and himself. Finding Parvati had made him feel so much better about the current events going on. He didn't feel the part of a helpless bystander anymore.
His papers would have to wait for later. He took one last look at his office before shutting the door quietly. The hall on his floor wasn't as busy as most which was good. He got to the elevator quickly and soon was on the main floor. Once there, he apparated to the house Charlie had described and located for him. Arthur found his worry increase as he saw the house... a odd piece of art that was probably deserted for years. Or so it looked. Arthur pushed down his worry again which on that moment had swelled inside him. This would go well if all were prepared. As he looked over the small group already there, Arthur realized that they were missing Moody. Perhaps that would bring them done in the end, perhaps not. Someone had to play the part and see through everything and be suspicious. Arthur was already feeling suspicious himself... Walking up to the group, Arthur gave a worn smile. "Hello everyone. I'm not late, am I?"

Charlie looked up from explaining the map to the others as he heard the sounds of apparations. He noticed his brother and his father, glad to see that both of them were able to make it. He gave a small sigh of relief. He wouldn't admit it to the others, but he was glad that his family was able to be with him, at least for the moral support. Charlie almost felt as if he had something to prove, not to everyone else but to himself. He didn't know why he felt so unsure of himself, because deep down he knew that if Alastor felt that he could handle this, then he must have shown some good qualities at some point.
"Hopefully, this shouldn't be too hard. I haven't seen any movement inside the house just yet. But we still need to be on aware, just in case." Charlie was sure that everyone already knew what he had just stated, but he felt that he had to tell them. He had to make sure everyone stayed safe. Charlie looked up at the house again, this time a bit more nervously. The time to enter the house was almost upon them, and it made him more nervous for the operation to go right. Charlie understood what made him so nervous. He had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that something would go wrong. If anything bad happened, he must admit that he would rather it happen to him, than anyone that had agreed to help him with this.
Charlie was just left now with figuring out whom would do what. He and Molly could search the second story and the attic of the house. And he could give the main floor, and the basement to Dedalus and Kingsley. But that would leave Bill and Arthur on guard. This made Charlie feel a bit bad, but then he remembered part of the owl that Bill had sent him. Bill would probably be safest on guard, and that's what Charlie had to think about. He wouldn't let Bill know that he had caught the hint, unless Bill asked about it. But Charlie knew he would feel better if his brother was safely out of harms way. Charlie didn't think he could handle the job of going to Fleur and telling her that something happened to Bill while he was out with him. He just didn't think he could do it.
"Kingsley, you and Dedalus take the main floor and the basement. Search not only for the children, but for any clues that the Death Eaters might have left as to their next move. If you find the children, shoot up green sparks so that we can find you. Red sparks if you get into trouble that you can't get yourself out of. Bill, you and Dad stand guard at the doors. " Charlie didn't know if Bill would ask why he was having to stand guard while Kingsley and Dedalus got to help investigate everything, but Charlie had good reasons that he couldn't explain to everyone, because he wasn't sure if Bill even meant for him to know. "Everyone clear of what we are doing? Let's try to get through this without any trouble." Charlie said looking around to see if everyone was alright with it. After seeing Dedalus and Kingsley nod, he looked over toward his family.

Molly looked up from the map that Charlie was showing to Kingsley, Dedalus and herself, just as she heard the sounds of the apperations. She knew that the noises meant someone was appearing at the same location. Reaching her hand into her apron, she felt her wand and closed her hand tightly around it, preparing for whomever might be the one causing the noise. As the two figures finally became more clear she noticed that it was her eldest chld and her husband. Not moving from Charlie's side, she greeted them both with a shy and worrysome smile. She hoped Charlie hadn't noticed the worried expression in her smile, for she was sure that he already had enough on his mind.
She turned her attention back to the map, and listened as Charlie began to give everyone their part in the operation. She thought it a bit suspicious when he decided that Bill and Arthur would be best on gaurd, but she didn't question Charlie at all. She knew deep down he had his reasons what ever they may have been. Nodding to him and to everyone else that she understood her part, she followed her son up toward the house.

Dedalus and Kingsley hadn't always been on the best of terms, but in light of a lot of recent events had become somewhat friends. They had gotten to where they were doing a lot of jobs together for the Order and it had given them a chance to get to know each other a little better. Sure it wasn't the best friendship in the world, but at least it gave them each some company on their missions. This mission was no different. They had each gotten letters from Charlie Weasley saying that he would be requiring their assistance on a mission. Naturally Dedalus agreed, he knew that Kingsley wouldn't be turning it down either. That just wasn't something that was done. Missions were taken whole heartedly, and rarely turned down. Dedalus had waited for something else that the Order needed him to do for so long that it excited him that the Weasley boy actually wanted his assistance in the matter. There were no other clues to what they were doing except a meeting time and place. Dedalus noticed that the meeting would be taking place in just a few short hours, so he decided to pop over to Kingsley's and travel to the meeting with him.
The pair arrived in a dark, seemingly muggle neighborhood. Looking around they spotted the well known fiery red hair of the next to the oldest Weasley. They walked over to where he was standing looking at what appeared to be a map. Dedalus had done this before, he didn't know what had given him that feeling, but he felt as if he had been in this neighborhood. Dedalus looked around, the peacefulness of the neighborhood was almost frightening. Reaching his hand in his robes, Dedalus took out his wand carefully, making sure not to frighten Charlie. Dedalus wasn't frightened himself, but he would rather be ready, than unprepared for anything that might happen.
As Dedalus and Kingsley looked over the map with Charlie, assuring him that it wasn't a trap, that the map was just something accidentally left behind, they heard the distinct sound of someone apperating behind them. Dedalus turned around to see Molly. Shortly after she joined them at looking at the map, Arthur and Bill had appeared as well. Charlie took this advantage to give out everyones task. Dedalus understood his and Kingsley's thoroughly. Check the lower levels of the house. Dedalus knew that meant for them to go into the house first. Looking over at Kingsley, Dedalus nodded to Charlie to show him that the two of them understood their orders.
Dedalus thought it might be best to enter from the side door, but Kingsley thought the front would be the best. Dedalus finally agreed with Kingsley, and the two headed into the house, wands first via the front door. They started by checking the lower half of the stairs, and assured Charlie that there was nothing wrong with them as far as they could tell, but for him and Molly to be careful checking the rest of the upper levels. The pair quickly moved through the living room, drawing room, and den. That only left the basement. Dedalus dreaded basements, they usually always held the dead owners of a house that had once been taken over by Death Eaters. The pair headed down to the basement, but to Dedalus's great relief there were no bodies in there. There was nothing no clues or anything. They headed back up a new set of stairs that brought them to the kitchen, nothing there either, except some fairly fresh foods. That meant that the DE's had been there and it hadn't been too long since they had left. As long as they don't come back Dedalus thought to himself with a worried look on his face.
They had to agree to wait for Molly and Charlie at the bottom of the stairs, in case they had any trouble. Dedalus sat on the bottom step, and waited patiently.

Charlie made his way up to the house, wondering what he and his mother might come across as they searched the upstairs level of the dwelling. He wondered if the girls were there, or even if they were healthy and alive. He stopped for a moment to wait on his mother, and looked back up at the house before starting his walk again. Charlie seemed more nervous now than he did while waiting on everyone. He could feel the knots in his stomach getting tighter and tighter. He felt as if he was going to be sick, but he kept his focus. Charlie knew that there was a job to do, and nothing would keep him from doing it. He was determined to find those children. He had thought about the children ever since their kidnapping. It had run through his mind, what if it had been more than just Hermione, what if it had of been his sister, and Ron, or even Harry. Charlie needed to find them, and hopefully find some clue as to just which Death Eaters were responsible for the kidnappings. He knew that finding any clue was a far stretch, and just wishful thinking but it didn’t stop him. He couldn’t help but to hope that there would be some clue that might end all of the kidnapping, and troubles. There had to eventually be a way to end all of these dark times.
Charlie’s mind wondered off toward Phaedra. He had been trying to keep her off of his mind all evening, but she had been there regardless. He couldn’t help but to think about her when he started to think of his life. Charlie had always spent life a bit on the careless edge, and didn’t think he could just suddenly stop living so dangerously. But he was beginning to think of Phaedra more seriously, and romantically. She was his best friend, and he couldn’t help but to notice the way he was always happy with her around, no matter how sad he was feeling. What if tonight was his last battle, what if he never got to tell her how he truly felt about her? He had to make it through tonight; he had to make it through a few more battles. Why was he just now starting to get severely nervous about this mission? He didn’t need to be getting more nervous, he needed to be trying to keep his mind on his job.
Charlie did his best to put Phaedra in the back of his mind. He hoped that she was safely at home, although something told him she wasn’t. He paid the feeling no attention, and put it off as nerves. Charlie took a deep breath as he climbed the steps up to the front door of the house. This was it, the final moments. This whole day had been leading up to what they would find in this house. Would they find the children? Charlie wasn’t sure, but he had a good feeling about it. Would the children be alright? Still another question Charlie didn’t know the answer too, and one that he didn’t have such a good feeling about. He turned and smiled at his mother, thinking of how even in this horrible situation and these horrible times, she still remained the strength that he and his brothers, his sister and even his father needed at times. It was nice to know that no matter what she was there with him. It was comforting at one of the moments when he was least assure of himself.
They had entered the house. So far all had gone well, no spells had been shot from the windows at them, and they were making their way from the foyer to the stairwell. Charlie took the first steps, he would rather that if something happen, or it be some type of trap, that he be in front of his mother, it would give her a bit more of a chance to get help, and to protect herself, if they were having to deal with Charlie first. He knew that she wouldn’t be thrilled about the idea, but she wouldn’t argue. Charlie loved his mother even more for that. With the exception of Fred and George, she had always trusted each of her children’s judgments on this of this matter.
The stairwell was a normal everyday stairwell, with 4 steps leading to a landing and then turning going up five more steps for a total of nine steps between the top and bottom floors. Charlie thought that making it up the stairs was a bit too easy, but then it came back to him that the DE’s wouldn’t booby trap their only way up to the top floor and attic. Charlie still didn’t let up his guard, it would still be possible that they had done just exactly what they knew wouldn’t be expected of them. The two had made it up to the second floor of the house safely. Charlie nodded to his mother as she pointed toward a couple of bedrooms to the right of the stairwell. He understood that she meant that she was going to check those rooms, before following him to the other rooms. Charlie waited at the top of the stairwell, giving his mother a chance to search the rooms thoroughly. After she was finished with the rooms, and came out to let him know that nothing was found there, they moved back toward the left of the stairwell. There they found one more bedroom, and the entrance to the attic, not to mention one extremely tiny linen closet. The two checked the bedroom, and the linen closet to make sure that it wasn’t bewitched to be bigger than it appeared. Both rooms were empty. That left the attic.
Charlie moved slowly up toward the attic, carefully trying not to cause the stairs and floor boards to creak, or moan. Turning as Molly tapped him on the shoulder; he realized that she had heard a sound just as soon as they had made it to the top of the landing. She was pointing in a direction that showed nothing but a stack of boxes to someone at first glance. Charlie nodded as he agreed that they should check it out. The pair carefully moved around the boxes, wands at the ready for whatever may be lurking behind the boxes. As they turned the corner, Charlie realized that what his mother had heard was one of the children, trying to get the attention of anyone that could hear the noise. Charlie and Molly both breathed a deep sigh of relief at finding the children, when all of a sudden Molly let out a bit of a scream. Charlie spun around to see what was happening, and discovered what his mother had screamed about. Charlie hadn’t really taken a good look at the children yet, but stood guard so that his mother could tend to them. When he spun around and looked more closely. There were two girls, and a boy. Charlie had thought that they were rescuing three girls, not two girls and a boy. The boy sat with one girl chained to him, and to that girl was yet another girl. Charlie looked closer at the girl chained between the two, and noticed that she wasn’t breathing. He watched as his mother did a quick spell to break the chains, and helped the two up to their feet. Charlie walked over to the body, picked it up and the five carefully headed back downstairs and toward the outside of the house.
Once outside, Charlie wondered who would help take the children all to St. Mungo’s. He imagined that Bill would like to get back to Fleur, and that his dad had to get back to work before the Ministry got too suspicious, the same was thought of Kingsley. So that left it down to Molly, Dedalus, and himself to take the three to the hospital. “Dad, Kingsley, I know that you both are going to have to get back to the Ministry soon, so that they won’t get suspicious of anything, or of the two of you. Bill, I have a feeling you want to get back home to Fleur, I know she’s probably not happy that you came along for the adventure. So Dedalus, I, and Mum will take these three to the hospital.” He was hoping that no one would mind his choice, but he thought it for the best. He didn’t want to keep his sister in law worrying, and he knew that the Ministry needn’t be suspicious of the Order, but they were, so it would have been best for Arthur and Kingsley. Molly and Dedalus both nodded that they were agreeable with the idea, and the three adults prepared to transport the three children to the hospital.
((If there needs to be more details added just pm me. Bill, Charlie kind of caught the hint, but didn't want to let on to it, that's why he didn't put you in the middle of things. Molly, please forgive the god moding, but I know you aren't feeling well, and thought you wouldn't mind.))
