On the 14th of February, which happened to be a sunny day with not even the smallest cloud in the clear blue sky above them, in the same greenhouse Julie and Harry had met each other in and had a little adventure back in September, the two were together and Julie had a fat book with a hardback cover open on a page entitled "The Veraneous Charm". She was looking at Harry and unable to stop herself from blushing as he read the page and she smiled at him shyly when he looked up. "I got the idea from the way your mother cast a protection charm on you using her love, so I got this book of ancient charms from the library thinking we could use a similar charm," said Julie. She took out her wand and put it on the table and then read the page one last time although she had already almost learnt it by heart. The week before she had read through the book until she had found the charm and then tried to make sure they had all they needed to cast it, and had been surprised to find out there was only one thing that was really important, and that was that the two persons involved had to be in love with each other.
She had asked Professor Flitwick a few questions about it hoping she wasn't being too obvious, and he had made clear the few things she had not been too sure about and even shown her the wand movements she and Harry were supposed to perform to be able to cat the charm. Harry was talented with Charms and Julie was also quite good with them but she had never done anything remotely similar to this one. The instructions were written in a faded gold color and Julie looked at Harry who was now ready to get started.
"OK, so the two casters must first of all exchange two items on which they shall cast the charms. When in danger or a situation in which one of them requires the help of the other, he or she shall be able to channel their thoughts into the other's mind by looking at the item and saying the incantation "Senderus Millaneaus", said Julie, summarising what was written. Julie gave Harry his present which was a new watch, and waited for him to give her his present. "Well, um, this is for you," she said handing it to him. She wondered what he had for her and also whether his present or not.

Standing in the greenhouse, the same one Julie and Harry first met. She sat at the table as Harry stood next to her. She read a few pages in a huge old hard back book. Harry could faintly make out the words. Julie stood up as she told Harry what the pages said. Harry nodded. He felt for her. He couldn't explain it. When he thought he liked Cho, it didnt compaire to how much he felt for Julie. When he saw her- it seemed as if time slowed down, and everything around them, and anything that was bothering Harry at the moment- seemed to go away. She was the peace and contentment he was looking for. He hoped the charm would work. Harry thought to himself, wondering if Julie liked him as much. It would only work if she did. In a few moments he would find out.
Julie handed him a new watch. He never had a watch. He really depeneded on the clock in the school. He really did need one. Because when he was somewhere not near the clock- it was a pain. Taking it from Julie, He looked it over. He liked it. Smiling at her, Harry put his hand in his pocket. Pulling out his wand, he spoke, "Close your eyes, and put your hand out." Harry grinned. Harry noticed the slight hesitance in Julie's eyes. But she smiled at him, warm heartedly. She closed her eyes as she put her hands out.
Harry circled his wand above Julie's palms as a mist of light blue and green light fell on to her hands. Slowly, a silver bracelet twirled and spiraled out of his wand and layed on to her palms. It was weaved sliver. Not to fancy, but when Harry saw it, he knew she would like it. - At least he hoped.
"Open your eyes." he said softly, as he waited for her to see what Harry had given to her.
(( Also, small God-modding here. But was needed to push the plot along. --Allowed by Julie. ))

Julie felt delighted when she saw that Harry liked her present. He didn’t say anything, but she knew that look very well. Like a child, she did as he told her and closed her eyes and held out her hand, waiting excitedly to see what he had for her. Not so long ago the rather serious sixth year would have probably thought this a rather ridiculous situation, in fact Julie had never imagined herself losing her head over any boy before. But Harry – she just knew this was so right. She felt cold metal touch her hands and opened her eyes to see a beautiful mist of emerald green and sapphire blue slowly fade. Then she looked at what was in her hand.
"Wow!" she said, very softly. She looked up at Harry and smiled. "It's so beautiful," she said simply, loving the bracelet. "Oh, um, OK so we need to get working on this, we might not get it right the first time. Right, we need to sit facing each other," she said, summoning a chair so they were doing just that. She placed her bracelet before her and Harry's watch before him. "Right, the next thing to do is concentrate on the first time we were first alone with each other – back on the train, you remember, that was the first time right?" she asked.

Turning around, Harry found a seat behind him as he sat down and put the watch in front of him. As Julie did that with her bracelet. She spoke about the first time they were alone. Thinking back, the same greenhouse they were in- stood out in his mind. But as she spoke about the train, Harry nodded. "Yes, I think that was the first time." Harry added as he glanced over to the book next to them.
Reading a few lines Harry turned back to Julie. Looking into her dark eyes; which seemed to twinkle as their eyes met. He said, "Alright, it says to clear our minds of all outlying troubles, or annoyances- and just focus on each other." Harry's voice seemed to soften as he came closer to the end of his sentance. Taking a breath, Harry thought to himself, 'that will be easy, she is all I can think about.' He grinned to himself as he paused for a moment. Speaking again, he said, "It says, after we do that- To say the spell." Harry took his left hand and pointed to the few golden words written on the page. Turning his head back to Julie- he said,"You go first, I'll repeat after you."

"OK," said Julie, a little nervous, and then she looked steadily at Harry. Any worry she had been feeling disappeared in that instant when their eyes locked together. The look in his eyes could only mean one thing, and for once Julie had no doubts in her heart that Harry really and truly was in love with her. She stared at him for a minute, then held her wand in front of her, waited for him to do the same, and then together they did the complex wand movements required to make the spell work. Julie had practised them before hand as had Harry since she had told him about them, and then they both lowered the wands onto their new presents. Julie whispered the incantation and then dropped her wand, and slipped each of her hands into Harry's.
She waited for a few seconds for anything to happen. She would have thought such a spell would work instantaneously, maybe they had done something wrong… but she didn’t think so. It was a complex spell but she had made sure she had practised enough or at least the part of it she could have practised on her own – suddenly she felt a jolt in her arm, and then something like some kind of electric current passed through Harry's arm and into hers, and then she felt it in her other arm her back shaking as it moved through her and into him. She breathed heavily as her body stopped shaking and then a mist of gold formed between her and Harry, shrinking and concentrating itself on the two gifts before them.
