Ginny walked along the path from the castle to the gates of Hogsmeade. It was a rather nice afternoon and she couldn’t take sitting in the common room any longer. The past few days had been very hectic for Ginny as she kept replaying Harry’s dream in her mind. Despite the fact that her mother assured her nothing would happen, Ginny still had been very uneasy in the days leading up to the ball. Now that the ball had past though she was slowly feeling normal again. Today she was to meet Parvati and Hermione by the fountain in Hogsmeade at 4PM, from there they’d get a quick dinner then do a bit of shopping before returning to the castle. Naturally Ginny didn’t have very much money, only a couple knuts sickles and two galleons, but still she knew enough about Hogsmeade to know what stores she could buy in and what stores were simply “eyes only” stores. As she walked past the gates and along the road to Hogsmeade she passed several small homes along either side of the road. A few residents were outside and each waved to Ginny, smiling she waved back at them and knew most of them by name from her parents.
The walk to the center of Hogsmeade took less than two minutes and soon Ginny was standing in the center square of the village. Her eyes set upon the water fountain in the center of the village, Ginny walked over to it and took a seat on a white bench. Checking her watch she found it not yet 4PM. She then began to absentmindedly twirl her red hair with her fingers as she waited for her friends to arrive.

Parvati looked at her watch. Almost 4. She placed her sketchbook in her shoulder bag and stood up from her place on the grass under a tree. She was supposed to meet Hermione and Ginny in Hogsmeade, and she couldn't wait. Although she didn't want to be late, Parvati had gotten sidetracked with her art. She slipped her shoulderbag over her head and ran off into the direction the fountain was at.
Her shoulderbag banged against her left leg and she winced, as her pencil poked her. She didn't stop though, she continued to run until she reached the gates, then she stopped and took a few breaths. Parvati walked calmly past the gates and to the fountain where she saw Ginny already sitting. She smiled brightly and took a seat next ot her on the bench.
"Hey!" Parvati said rather enthusiastically. She placed her shoulderbag on the ground near her feet and turned her attention to Ginny.
"How long have you been waiting?" She asked, hoping she hadn't been waiting too long.

Ginny looked up as Parvati joined her by the fountain. “Hi, oh no I just got here too” Ginny said as she moved over to make room for her. “So were you drawing again?” Ginny said as she eyed Parvati’s bag, she knew that Parvati was an avid drawer and would spend countless hours drawing.
Once more glancing at her watch it was now 10 minutes after 4 and it appeared as if Hermione wasn’t going to be here on time at least. “Well, I think Hermione is running late, do you want to head over to the Three Broomsticks anyway? I told her that’s where we would be going anyway, I saw her in the common room studying with several books before I left.”

Parvati smiled in relief as Ginny said she had just arrived also. Parvati disliked being late, she thought it made a bad image of herself.
"Drawing? Oh, yeah. You know me. Draw. Draw. Draw." Parvati answered with a smile. Parvati was an artist. She spent most of her spare time drawing or if she wasn't drawing, she was thinking of something to draw. Parvati smiled as Ginny said Hermione was with her books.
"Of course, well I don't see any harm in not heading over. Let's go." Parvati said as she grabbed her bag and stood up from the bench, ready to head over to the Three Broomsticks.

Ginny smiled at Parvati and stood up. “Right, lets get going. Though I’m not sure if Hermione will be here at all, she looked pretty engulfed in her work.” The walk to the Three Broomsticks took very little time and as they entered the pub it was barely 4:15. Inside the Three Broomsticks only a handful of tables were occupied. “How about over there by the window?” Ginny said as she pointed to a booth by one of the windows. Once they were seated Ginny glanced over the menu that Madam Rosmerta gave her. It didn’t take too long to figure out her order, never having much money to buy with Ginny had pretty much memorized the appetizer and drinks menu. “So what were you drawing today?” She asked while waiting for Madam Rosmerta to return to take their order. “I tried to draw the other day, it didn’t turn out too well though. I was early to Charms so I tried to draw that suit of armor in front of the Charms classroom. I finished but it looked like a stick man.”
Soon Madam Rosmerta returned to take their order. “I’d like to have chicken wings and a butterbeer” Ginny said handing her the menu. Once Parvati had ordered, Ginny sighed deeply and looked out the window. The past few days had been very trying on her and she was exhausted and it felt as if her body was about to be sick. Perhaps it was telling her that she need to get rest, that was of course what her mom always told them. Clear as day she could remember her mom arguing with Fred one day “Fred if you don’t feel well you go to bed! You don’t go into the backyard with George and do Merlin knows what!” Heaving another Sigh, Ginny watched the people outside the window walking about the village with their shopping bags.

Parvati nodded as Ginny told her Hermione not be able to make it. If it was one thing Parvati knew it was Hermione was always doing school work. Parvati smiled to herself, half wishing she could be that much into school as Hermione was. They reached the Three Broomsticks and Ginny suggested a table near a window, Parvati agreed and they headed towards the window table. Parvati laughed as Ginny told her about her stick suit of armor.
"Well, I was drawing Hogsmeade. You know the place near the Shrieking Shack? I was drawing some trees there. It didn't turn out to well." Parvati replied as she looked over the menu.
"Stick suit of armor eh? That's good. At least you're attempting to draw. Many people give up if they get a line crooked." Parvati said with an encouraging smile. Madame Rosmerta then appeared to take their orders. Ginny gave hers and Parvati ordered a butterbeer. She wasn't hungry lately. When Parvati turned back to Ginny she noticed a subtle change of mood.
"You alright Ginny? You don't seem too well." Parvati asked, concern in her voice.

Ginny’s attention was drawn back to Parvati as she asked about her. “Yea I’m OK, kind of.. well sort of” Ginny said as she fidgeted with her wand in her pocket, she hadn’t spoken to many people the past few days aside from Hermione, Harry and Ron. “Sorry Parvati, I’ve just been really preoccupied lately. I’ve been under a lot of stress lately.” Ginny paused as Madam Rosmerta returned with their drinks, taking her mug of butterbeer Ginny took a small sip then set the mug back down on the table. The butterbeer tasted so good, it had been weeks since she’d last had any. “So, um, well a few days ago Harry had a nightmare, well it was more of one of his visions…” Ginny again stopped and looked blankly out the window for a while again clutching her wand in her hand that rested in her pocket. “It’s nothing though Parvati, don’t worry, I’ve just been a little tired lately, I think I’m going to go to bed early tonight and sleep in tomorrow, I think I’m coming down with something.” Ginny then shifted in her seat and nervously looked around the pub while she tapped her foot on the leg of the table. “So let me see what you were drawing today” Ginny said trying to change the subject.

Parvati nodded, still a bit concerned for her friends health and opened up her sketchbook. She flipped past a couple of pages of portraits and came to the landscape.
"It's not finished. But," She shrugged and handed it to her. Hoping that Ginny would like it. It was only a rouch sketch and the darks were lighter then what they should have been. But either way, it was one of Parvati's best landscapes.

He shifted on his barstool and always most his balance, and what made him even more uncomfortalbe, which made him figet even more. He looked down at his mug of butterbear and picked it up, taking a sip, and trying to scratch the back of his neck at the same time. He was itcy. He hated being itchy--though he should be use to it by now.
He heard voices, and looked over at a corner table. She was here. He started to smile, but then he suddenly felt itchy again, this time it was his arm, and his attention went there.

Ginny reached out and took the booklet from Parvati and looked at the drawing. Even though Parvati said it wasn’t done, it was far superior to anything Ginny could even dream about creating. “That’s wonderful” she said as she slid the booklet back across the table, she had always envied those who had great artistic talent. Ginny then rubbed her hand on her forehead and closed her eyes, “so.. what shops do you want to go to today?” she asked as she sighed heavily. Shortly Madam Rosmerta returned with their orders, two butterbeers and an order of chicken wings. “How come you didn’t get anything? You haven’t eaten much lately either, are you on a diet now?” Ginny inquired as she dipped one of her wings into the tangy sauce. It was common knowledge that Parvati and her sister Padma were two of the most beautiful girls at Hogwarts and the idea of either of them needing to diet was beyond Ginny’s belief. Quite a few times had Ginny looked at the twins jealous of their beauty, still Ginny knew she shouldn’t feel bad about herself but most the time it was easier said than done. “Would you like some chicken?” she said moving her plate to the middle of the table.

Parvati smiled as Ginny said her art was great. She didn't agree but, it was alright. She took the sketchbook back and placed it in her book bag. She then smiled as their orders came and Ginny asked if she was on a diet. Parvati shook her head.
"No, I'm not on a diet. I'm just not very hungry lately is all." She answered with an honest smile. She then looked down as Ginny asked if she would like some chicken.
"No thanks. Sitll not very hungry." She said with a small smile. She then strummed her fingers on the table and took a sip of her butterbeer.

His arm stopped itching and he took another sip of his butterbeer, looking over his shoulder again at the girls who sat in the corner. He was nervous, and that made him even more itchy. This time he scratched his stomach. Why him. He fretted for a few more moments before he decided he couldn't hold it any longer and he needed to find the bathroom. He got up and saw the girls again. They would still be here when he got back. He hoped so at least.

Ginny finished her snack and took out her little bag of coins. Looking at the check she put several coins on the table which left her with 2 galleons and a few sickles left to spend in Hogsmeade. “So where do you want to go next?” Ginny said as she closed her eyes and put the back of her hand to her forehead. Her forehead itself felt hot and her face felt quite flushed. Taking another deep breathe she finished off her butterbeer which did little cool her down. “Can you excuse me for a minute Parvati?” Ginny said while she got up and headed to the restroom.
Staring at her own reflection in the bathroom, Ginny saw her face was paler than usual and she felt weak. Turning on the water she cupped her hands and filled them with water before splashing the cool water on her face. Instantly she felt relief but as she dried her face the slight headache returned to her and she slowly walked out of the restroom. “Sorry” she said to Parvati when she sat back down at the table, “So where would you like to go now?” She asked.

Parvati waited patiently as Ginny went to the washroom. She came back moments later and Parvati could see she seemed so much more paler then she had before. Parvati tilted her head, knowing something was wrong and that Ginny wasn't telling the whole truth. Parvati didn't want to intrude, she wasn't like that...but she did care for Ginny's well being.
When Ginny asked where she would like to go next, Parvati placed 2 Galleons on the table and stood up. Placed her shoulderbag on her shoulder and looked at Ginny. She smiled and thought of where to go. Parvati shrugged and closed her eyes, trying to think of where she would like to go more.
"Honeydukes, I spose." She answered as she opened her eyes and smiled warmly at Ginny. She waited as Ginny gathered her things and they then exitted the Three Broomsticks.

Ginny put down her coins on the table and grabbed her bag and stood up. “Honey Dukes sounds fine to me” she said as she folowed Parvati to the door and outside. Once outside they were assaulted by the bright sunlight which cause Ginny to stop for a bit to shield her eyes and sigh. The sun light itself seemed to make her headache ten times worse. The walk to Hone Dukes took little time and soon Ginny walked into the shop with Parvati and began to look around. There were so man sweets and Ginny normally could spend ages in here looking and sampling the newest candies, today though she simply went for trid and true candies. A bag of chocolate bunnies, two bags of chocolate balls and a box of pumpkin cream tarts. Walking over to the clerk she handed over her candy and the coins then took her bag and put it into her book bag. Parvati however was still busy shopping when Ginny walked over to join her. “I’m going to outside for a bit to get some fresh air” she said and hen proceeded outside. Once outside Ginny found a bench in the shade and sat down. Her head soon found itself resting upon her hand and her eyes closed for only a short rest she thought. She wasn’t quite sure how long she was out but she suddenly awoke with a start. Quickly she got up and went back inside Honey Dukes and found Parvati, “Hey” she said as she stood next to her in line.

He came out of the bathroom just in time to see the two girls leaving. He paniced for a moment then started after them. Of course he was in a hurry and as he walked, his leg started to itch, and when he tried to scratch it while still walking, he triped over his own feet and had to grab the chair from a table near by so not to loose his balance. That made the man sitting there spill his butterbeer. That made for a rather angry situation. He looked up at the much taller wizard and after a moment he rushed out the door and looked around. He didn't see the girls. Well, not a first, A few moments later he saw one of them come back outside. He stayed still so they woudln't really notice him. That would be back. Then when he saw her head back inside, he realized they were in Honeydukes, and he hurried over and stepped inside the shop.

Parvati watched as Ginny selected her treats and payed for them, then said she would be outside. Parvati nodded and continued to shop. Her mind was racing with how many treats she could buy, and how many cavities she would recieve. She shuddered at the thought, but continued to grab the sugar coated delicacies off the shelves.
Ginny then came back in, as Parvati stood in line, and greeted her. Parvati smiled and shifted the weight of her goods from her right arm to the left.
"Hey. Have a nice rest? I saw you outside the window..." Parvati explained as she loaded the candies onto the counter and brought out her change purse. She smiled again, payed the wizard behind the counter and grabbed her newly bought treasures.

Ginny smiled at Parvati when she finished her shopping in Honey Dukes. As they left the shop and out into the afternoon sun Ginny stopped at a bench to tie her shoe. “I think we have time for one or two more shops today, do you want to try Zonkos? I really need to get a few gags. Last week Fred sent me a package and it was from my mum, well at least I thought it was my mum. Apparently Fred had switched packages and when O opened it five stink bombs went off.” Ginny paused for a moment and sighed then rubbed her forehead. “Anyway, our dorm stunk for a good week so I have to get Fred back, I think a couple of those delay dung bombs would work well.”
As Ginny led the way to Zonkos she entered the shop and unlike Parvati, she didn’t need to look around. With only a few coins left in her pocket, Ginny got a pack of dung bombs and took them to the clerk. Handing over her coins she stuffed her pack into her book bag and then found Parvati who was browsing through more items. “Take your time, I’ll be waiting outside for you.” Walking outside Ginny looked for a cool shady bench. The main benches however were drenched in afternoon sunlight so Ginny was forced to look to the side of the shop off the main road where she found a few benches in the shade. Heaving down her bag, Ginny slumped into the seat and closed her eyes. Her head was throbbing. Closing her eyes she waited for Parvati to finish so they could head back to Hogwarts, perhaps she’d have to go visit Madam Pomfrey and get a potion to kick this headache.

He was still trying to follow the girls, while still making sure he didn't look to suspicious. He decided against going inside Zonkos when he saw them enter the joke shop. His legs were too itchy and he had already nearly exposed himself too many times. It was then that the perfect moment arose. He watched Ginny walk out of Zonkos and head towards a secluded bench. This was his chance. He began to walk towards her, his short legs moving quickly in hopes that he would reach her before she looked up. He was nearly there when he reached into his pocket, and with a silver hand pulled out his wand, almost immediatly calling "Stupefy" as he pointed it at the red head, stunning her.
He covered the remaining distance between then and grabbed her arm, turning her over to make sure that she was truly stunned. It was then that he noticed another girl coming out of Zonkos, and after a short pause, come towards them very quickly. His mind began to race, and after a moment he raised his silver hand again, and yelled the same word towards Parvati before apprarating and taking Ginny with him.

Hermione made her way into Hogsmeade; she was late to meet Ginny and Parvati. She had promised to meet them over an hour ago, but unfortunately she had gotten caught up in her homework and didn’t realise the time, when she did, she had to make a run for the last coach to Hogsmeade.
When she arrived in Hogsmeade she looked around for the girls, but they were nowhere in sight. “Darn,” she said to herself. She looked up and down the street trying to decide whether or not to go up or down on her search for them. She took the right and went into a clothing store, but after a good look around, she knew they weren’t there. She looked around several other stores and shops along the main road, but finally she decided to check Zonko’s.
She made her way towards the back of Zonko’s after she had checked inside, there was a shady area back there that Ginny sometimes hug out in to get away from the crowds. She turned the corner, “Parvati!” she screamed, seeing her friend lying on the ground motionless. She looked around quickly for any sign of an attacker, but there was none that she could see. She checked for a pulse and found one, “Thank God,” she said, Parvati had only been stunned. “Ennervate! Parvati? Parvati are you okay? Where’s Ginny?” Hermione asked extremely concerned. Someone had attacked Parvati and Ginny was gone and that could only mean one thing, and Hermione hated to think it. “Where is Ginny Parvati?”
