Sadie wandered through the grounds wondering what she could do that day. She hadn't had much on her mind lately, not since the shock Sierra had expressed when seeing the picture Sadie had drawn in her sketchbook. Sadie hadn't meant for any of the pictures in there to shock, hurt or offend Sierra at all, but apparently one of them had and Sadie wasn't sure what to do to repair the damages. She needed to get away from everything and clear her mind.
That created a problem for Sadie, she hadn't regained her trust in the trees that would allow her to clear her mind. Since her fall and her broken arm, she just hadn't been able to reclaim the trust of her old wooden friends. The trees had never dropped her before, and she could usually trust them when she had no one else in the world to turn to. But one tree had let her down, how could she not be worried that another wouldn't do the same. How could she not be scared that another tree would allow her to fall from it's safety and get hurt as well. Sadie sighed looking at one of her favorite climbing trees. "Not today old friend. I still am unsure." She said as she placed a hand on the tree and slid down to the bottom of the tree to sit and read.
Sadie sat, reading for what seemed like hours when she heard a loud noise that startled her. It was the sound of a young girl screaming. Oh No! Not again Sadie thought as her mind raced back to the last time that the Death Eaters had gotten into Hogwarts Voldemort's dead, as is Potter. What would the DE want here? The thoughts raced through Sadie's mind before she could realize that it couldn't possibly be that kind of attack again. That it had to simply be a group of other students playing around. Sadie decided to get up and trail the sound to see where it was coming from.
Rounding yet another large tree that lived on the grounds, Sadie spotted a younger boy. A first year from the look of him. "Did you hear that scream?" Sadie said running up to the boy.
