Alexandra sighed with relief as she snapped her potions book closed. It was finally finished. After a week of reading and note taking, her potions essay was finally finished. The 14 year old sighed, laying back on her pillow. The dormitory was lit by a solitary candle on her bed side table. The light flickered against the walls. Alexandra, though she could not see in the dungeon dormitory, knew the sky was bright and blue, appearing to be sunny and like a summer day, but this was a deception. In truth, the October afternoon was filled with harsh winds that chilled one to the bone. The fall season had arrived and the leaves were turning red and brown, losing their green health. Alexandra finally felt at peace in this small dorm room, laying atop her bed, relaxing after her homework.
She didn't have class on Fridays and today was no exception. She had woken, eaten, read in her dorm room and finally turned to homework. It was around 3 in the afternoon and she had spent the afternoon and most of her morning on homework. With another great sigh, Alexandra sat up. Suddenly, the need to be outside was overpowering. She had been couped up in her dorm room for hours and hadn't seen the morning sky.
One glance at her broom was all she needed. None of the Quidditch teams were practicing and the pitch was empty... Alexandra stood, dressed in her winter cloak, took hold of her broom, and was off down the staircase toward the common room, which was filled to the brim with first years, who still had no idea where to go for their days off. With nothing even remotely close to acknowledgment, Alexandra swept from the room, out of the portrait door, and up the stairs that led from the dungeon.
A burst of sunlight stung her eyes as she made her way outside. The wind wasn't as harsh as she had expected and in fact, the sun felt quite warm. She trudged along, heading toward the Quidditch Pitch. A smile formed on her lips as she saw no one was on the pitch. A sudden jolt of energy made her run, squealing with anticipation. Peeling off her unneeded cloak, Alexandra entered the pitch, throwing her cloak on a seat. Her smile lit up her pale face as she mounted her broom and soared into the air.
Her long dark brown, nearly black hair, was pushed back from her face and billowed behind her. She stopped her fast climb through the air and looked out at the large castle which was her home. She whooped, feeling alive for the first time in a long time.

Pyro lay sprawled out on his back with his hands behind his head with his eyes shut letting the warm sun soak into his body. He hadn’t felt so great in a long time. First, his nightmares had started again. Than Germany had lost in the first round of the Quidditch World Cup, than his own cousin started to conspire behind his own back and could possibly corrupt his future plans for the Blackfire family, and to top it off, Kennedy, co-conspirator and fellow classmate received the status of Quidditch Captain over him.. Few things were going his way and it was making his life a living hell. Today though it seemed like the planets were lined up for him. He had finished all his homework in class and today was a beautiful day. He had quickly snatched up his breakfast and taken it outside, finding this perfect spot on top of a small hill overlooking the grounds. He hadn’t moved the entire day and his body felt refreshed and cleansed off all the bad energy he had been receiving the past few days.
The sound of a nearby door bursting open caught his attention and he opened one eye curiously to see what was happening. He caught site of Alex, broom over her shoulder, leaving the castle and sprint away. Pyro cleared his throat and was about to call out to her but she was gone already. Wonder what she’s up to in such a hurry? He thought to himself as he slowly climbed up to his feet. His limbs popped due to their inactivity and a quick stretch to chase the laziness from his muscles and he was off, chasing after her. Pyro caught site of her just as she ducked into the Quidditch Pitch Stadium and he picked up his speed.
Pyro entered the stadium just as Alex took to the air on her broom. He watched her go and admired her movements. She had just been accepted to the Slytherin Quidditch team as the new Keeper. She had only been to a few practices but her body already showed the signs. He usually pale skin had taken on a slightly pinkish hew. She had become more graceful, more defined due to her constant conditioning at practice. Pyro shook his head to clear it from the distracting thoughts and brought out his wand. “Accio Firebolt.” He said and than waited.
It didn’t take long for his wand to reach him. In fact he had last left it in the Slytherin Locker room. The broom zoomed and hovered in front of Pyro as he quickly climbed aboard and zipped up into the air. He caught site of Alex as she stopped her flight to admire the castle. As far as Pyro knew she hadn’t had much experience with flying until now. He grinned, perhaps it was time to give a little bit of private tutoring. He approached her quietly and slipped his hands around her head, covering her eyes and bringing his lips close to her ear and whispered gently. “You do realize it’s a harsh violation to be up here looking so beautiful without an escort?”

The sunlight glinted on the castle windows, ricocheting into her eyes. She didn't look away though. It was too beautiful. The Gryffindor tower was the largest, towering above the rest. Dumbledore's office could clearly be pointed out. Alexandra felt a smile touch her lips. The sun shown on her face, making her feel warm. In her first few years at Hogwarts, Alexandra had resented the school. It wasn't a school for her. No, it was a sign, an example that her parents didn't love her. She had tried so hard in those years to win their acceptance. It hadn't worked, though, and she had given up, retreating into her own Vampire-obsessed world where silence and darkness was the only thing that mattered. It wasn't until just now, as she gazed out at the castle, did she realize that she hadn't thought about vampires or even touched her old hobbies since dating Pyro.
Just as thoughts of him crept into her mind, Alexandra's world went dark. She jumped, realizing someone was holding a hand over her eyes. She was about the ask who it was, when she felt Pyro's lips whisper into her ear. She felt a dreamy smile touch her mouth. She removed his hand from her eyes and turned to look at him. Her eyes twinkling and her smile still lighting up her face.
"Well, what can I say? I like breaking the rules." she replied with a mysterious smile that she knew he liked. His always seemed to come up with the prefect thing to say to make her smile. It was corny, usually, but she liked it.

Pyro smiled and crossed his arms over his chest using his legs to keep his broom steady. "Well, we wouldn't be Slytherin if we didn't break the rules everynow and than." He sighed as he hovered and looked at Alex. Although Alex was a tremondously good flyer, she still looked a little ackward on the broom. She was the new starting Keeper. The Keeper had to have perfect broom control to cover all three goal hoops at once. Using only his legs Pyro spun a quick loop and turning his back on Alex, but looked over his shoulder at her. "The pitch is open. How about a quick practice session?"
Pyro zoomed down and hovered above the ground and waited for Alex to catch up. He watched her descent and couldn't help but smile as he watched the sight. Quidditch was doing her good. "So, first of all. Do you have any questions or something your not familiar with?" He decided to get any questions she had out of the way first.
(Sorry its so short.))

Alexandra lit up even more when Pyro suggested a quick practice session. She nodded, her eyes bright. Pyro flew down a bit, his back to her, and looked over his shoulder at her. She beamed at him as he asked if she had any questions. Biting her lip, as she usually did when she was thinking, Alexandra sighed. Kennedy had already given her the basics. She shrugged.
"I dunno, I guess. I know the basics, but is there anything else I need to know?"
She flew down on a parr with Pyro and smiled.
