Keeping up appearances, not something that was ever really Adalia’s strong suit. It’s not that she couldn’t, it’s more that she didn’t care enough to. Like the appearance of caring what Trelawney was on about now. Honestly, that woman had about the divining skills of a house elf; they could tell you what would be for lunch because they were cooking it. As the bell finally rang Adalia was brought out of her stupor with a small jump and started packing her bag.
Once she had shoved her way through the other’s coming down from the North Tower the hall was nice and empty. There were a few options open to her now during her spare period, she could go down to the common room, down to the library, get a snack in the Great Hall, or she could go for a bit of a walk. Out the window Adalia saw the sun shinning bright though the grounds still looked chill.
When Adalia got to the common room so far below the tower she rushed down to her room and deposited her bag on the bed. She picked up her winter cloak with the fur collar and started up to the front doors. A few other students rushed past her on their way to classes as Adalia swung open the large oak doors and started out in front of the castle.

Adam paced in circles just outside the main entrance to the castle. His hands were tucked in the pockets of his pants, and he had on his winter jacket. It was a bright, sunny day, yet still cold. There was no snow, but he knew that the temperature would have allowed for it. There were no clouds in sight either, and the sky was a vivid shade of cyan.
Adam knew that he was a bit early, but he had been waiting outside now for what he thought had been at least fifteen minutes. Supposedly, Sierra was to meet him there at her request. She wanted to talk about something, and he had suggested they talk over a walk around the castle grounds. She didn't seem too thrilled by the idea, and he figured she either forgot or decided not to come, neglecting to inform him.
Then, he looked up after hearing the door open and close. It was not Sierra. Letting out a light sigh, Adam looked at the girl whom he recognized as a fellow Slytherin. "Do you have the time?" he asked, wondering just how long he had been waiting for Sierra and deciding that he wasn't going to bother to wait much longer. It was just like her to make plans and then back out.
