In the past, we haven't rolled actions for players who haven't edited their posts with an IC post by the end of the round. From now on, Madam Hooch will roll actions from posts that only have OOC content and no IC content at the time of the end of the round.
The OOC post must be made within the relevant round - a player may not specify their action for the next round in an OOC note in their post for the previous round (I.e. we are not bringing back 'one-ahead' posting). Furthermore, we do not intend to allow Quidditch to become merely an OOC game. Players MUST go back and edit their posts to include some IC content at the earliest possible opportunity. They will be given two days (48 hours) after the end of the match in order to finish their editing. Each post that is NOT edited to include IC content by the end of these 48 hours will incur a -1 penalty to Quidditch posts towards experience points. (the first column of the experience points table)
The idea of this is to enable more people to post in Quidditch. It can be time-consuming to produce an IC post every day, and we do appreciate people putting effort in simply to give us their character's action, even if they don't have time to write an IC post. Hopefully it will take away a little of the stress of Quidditch for everyone. Please try not to overuse this system, though, for the sake of other players who are also putting their best effort into the game. If you are able to put in the effort to write an IC post for a round while the round is taking place, it gives other people participating in the game more to respond to and is part of the fun of Quidditch.
