He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named stronger than ever!
Lately quite a number of witches and wizards of Great Britain questioned the actions of the Ministry of Magic once again. Death Eaters struck again causing damage in Hogsmeade and raiding Hogwarts School if Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The attack was quick and very well planned, drawing most aurors to Hogsmeade where they battled Death Eaters and tried to gain control of the situation. A couple of stores were lit to fire by the Death Eaters and it took hours before the fire was controled and put out. The fire seemed to have started from Zonko’s. As an added distraction the Death Eaters had freed a goblin from the custody of the Ministry, who shrunk and killed a Hogwarts student before he could be stopped.
With all this going on the Dark Mark hovering over the Hogwarts castle was noticed almost too late. Aurors rushed over to the school immediately understanding that the attack on Hogsmeade had been just a decoy. Despite the brave work of teachers and older students there were still a lot of wounded by the time aurors reached the castle. The grounds were thoroughly searched yet no sign of the Death Eaters was discovered. According to our sources one of the Death Eaters in Hogwarts castle was captured, however we don't know who nor the circumstances of the arrest.
It is presumed that the Death Eaters were let into the castle by someone personating as Colin Creevey, who was liberated at the same time the attack stared by members of the well-known Weasley family and some other civilians. The previously kidnapped girl – Hermione Granger – was also found, even if in an awful state of mind. The aurors were also able to recover hte dead body of Padma Patil while Parvati is still missing. We haven’t been able to interview Hermione Granger nor Colin CReevey and Harry Potter has sadly also refused to comment.
The Wizarding world is facing an up-roar as it seems clear that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has returned to full power and the Ministry seems to be unable to use measures to stop his advance. Minister Fudge cautions everyone to remain calm so this problem could be worked out as quickly as possible, but will the old ways of keeping order work anymore? The wizarding world looks towards Harry Potter once again, wondering if the Boy-Who-Lived will be able to save us once again.
The Daily Prophet would like to offer it’s compassion to those who were killed and to their families.
