The time has come.
And all my head can think right now when it comes to my results are...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
Plus several expletives I shan't repeat here. ;D
But anyway. I just wanted to say, again, a big good luck. I'm sure we'll all be fine. We'll shed a few tears, either from happiness or misery, but either way, we'll survive it and see each other at the finish line.
No, I don't really know what I'm talking about either. Nerves, that's what it is.
Bah.
Anyway. I'll post here screaming for joy or misery tomorrow. Oh. My. God. Help me.

Ah yes, it's amazing how quickly the time's flown by this summer :S. Last summer seemed to go on forever =). Granted we're getting our results earlier and summer pretty much started a couple of weeks early last year, but still. And are there any ASers on here other than us 2 and Izy, Viv? Ah well . I still dunno what time to go into school... And I've only just started to worry this evening for some reason :S. And I'll have so many people to phone/text/MSN tomorrow, argh. It'll be insane I can tell =). Just hope I get good results so I don't feel bad when telling them. *gues to check AQA site to see if boundaries are up yet, not hopeful in the slightest* JUST GOT MY RESULTS (well, about an hour ago now lol). I got (all out of 300): Biology: 272 Chemistry: 255 Maths: 282 Economics: 275 Really pleased with those . Especially Economics as I don't have to resit, woop, and I got full marks on one of the modules! And Maths, although my best, I was hoping for perhaps slightly higher, but nevermind, still did brilliantly. Biology, at least I got over 90%, and full marks in one of the modules. Chemistry...well, was hoping for higher, but at least I got an A...I may resit one of the Modules. I'll just have to see what the teachers say (I probably should've stayed longer today, ah well).

Firstly, a big congrats to Izy and Kat - you guys did great, and you thoroughly deserved it. I've been doing a lot of crying today. And really, I shouldn't be, because my results aren't bad. They're just not great. And I hate myself for panicking at the mere sight of a B. But... anyway. I got As in lang, history and psych. I got a mid B in lit... which is basically what I've mainly been crying about, for obvious reasons. Thing is, though, one of the papers I got a C on, and Miss Davies and Mrs Pickering are insisting it gets re-marked, because everyone's scored really low on it. I know someone else got a D and someone got a U! Don't know who, but it's simply ridiculously. Anyway, even if that gets more marks after re-marking, I don't think I'll make the A boundary, unless my other one gets re-marked too. I did well on one paper approx on all my subjects; I did badly in the other two which brought it down. I got full marks in one of my lang modules (!). But I'm still dropping it, lol. Heh. Izy, the next time I see you (on Saturday, I have the tickets, as you know!) I'm probably going to do some crying on your shoulder. I hope you don't mind. But honestly... I am really, REALLY pleased for you, and you deserve all that you've got. Honest. I should be more grateful, but evidently I just can't handle it.

Congratulations, especially on the 105/105 in Economics hehe. ;D Yey my parents are taking me out to celebrate! Biology: 298 Chemistry: 273 Physics: 261 Latin: 276 Maths: 290 I am v. pleased with these. I would've liked to talk to Mrs Farrell about my Chemistry but I had to go to work experience! Viv - 3 As is a big achievement, even though I know the B came in the subject that mattered most. *huggles* EDIT: Also, Mrs Pickering very very obviously doesn't want me to do Dentistry.

I got the same, Kat! I got 105/105 in my language too! I was like wtf... XD *huggles Izy* Thank you. I appreciate you trying to make me feel better. And WHY?! She barely had anything to say to me. XD EDIT: Times for Saturday that Kia wonderfully found for me XD : Leave Manchester: 9:37pm Arrive Liverpool: 10:27pm Leave Liverpool: 5:22pm Arrive Manchester: 6:10pm We can get the bus home, which comes every five minutes. We'll need to walk there first, which'll take ten to fifteen minutes. Does that sound OK to you? About the morning, I'm sure my mum could take us. I don't really want to get up so early and take the bus.

Well done, and thanks to you both . Izy, you're just a genius, haha. And Viv, as Izy said 3 As is great, and don't worry about the Lit! If most people did badly in that exam then there's probably been some dodgy marking! And Hi 5 for getting 105 in the dropped subject, woo! Once I got my results I didn't stay...didn't see the need really. Though maybe I should've seen Mrs Farrell about Chem...thinking of resitting CHM3. But then again she's my referee so I'll see her when we go back anyway. Thank god I don't have to resit Econ though =). And why doesn't Mrs Pickering want you to do dentistry Izy :S. Eh, just ignore her, do what you want to do at uni-it's your life, not her's . And lucky you, being taken out to celebrate! Although I guess I'm going away for a few days now so can't really complain. Ah well =). Oooo, have fun on Saturday guys . Shame I couldn't join you. Well, when I'm doing...whatever I'll be doing in Norfolk on Saturday I'll think of you having fun in Liverpool . Izy, I guess I'll next see you next Friday (wales, woooo). And Viv, probably when we go back to school. I assume you're both in U6O? Hmm...still need to contact Ting. I tried to contact her earlier but couldn't get through to her. Actually, I'll try again now .

Thanks, Kat. I'm glad we all got pretty good results - well, you guys got better than just 'pretty good'! WOOOO~ You should be celebrating. Ting was out with me. She and I were trying to cheer each other up. Not that Ting did badly. I'll let her explain her own results. And yeah, if not UVIO, where would I be? I hope not in A or S or M!!

Yeah, I was just on the phone to Ting now, and I'm glad she did well . She's definitely dropping English now though, as she got a B in that and As in the others. And Fatima also got AAAB, the B in RS. Yahui got 4 As. Don't know about anyone else though. And yay, the forms are staying the same! Not that there's any reason to think they wouldn't. And I wonder if any form teachers will change. I wonder who the year below have as form teachers...I know there's a L6B and a L6M...the M's apparently Madden and the only B I can think of is Mr Boddy...hah. And Mrs Bowie, but isn't she leaving? Apparently we're getting a new English teacher anyway, from Bolton Girl's. Eeep, not sure if I wanna go back to school or not :S. I'm looking forward to it in a way, dreading it in another...arrgh.

I know what you mean, lol.
And I didn't know Bowie was leaving. I know I won't get her next year anyway for lit.

*shudder* Being in S would be awful!
Fatima said you were looking forward to Wales, Kathryn. Yes, I am utterly delighted to be going back to Wales! Ever so seriously... *refuses to meet your eyes*
Dentistry - she said 'That's very vocational, isn't it?'
