Hey guys. Well, as you might've guessed, this is about the Queens of Slytherin. I was wondering if you are still up for it with your characters? I know Jo/Ruby is all for it, but I need to know if you're going to have just Jo or both of them in the group. Mary and Kailyn, I need to know if you're still up for it. Just remember to think about whether your characters are suitable/worthy of being a Queen and whether or not you can commit to being part of the group. Once I've established this I'm going to step down from overseeing the entire project. I hope you don't mind. I want to think of this as a group thing. It's not a plot really, so it doesn't need an OOC head. I was wondering, though, whether you guys thought an IC head of the Queens is canon? I have no idea if they used to be equal? And if they do have a head, then I'm assuming the oldest girls would be in contention, i.e. Mary would be the head, and if Mary's not to be a part of it, then Ruby... But if Ruby isn't to be a part of it, then it'd be between D, Kailyn and Jo, and I'm going to count D outta contention, as she won't really want to be the boss any more.

I am just making sure, by canon you mean Cat's original plan, right? Because the Queen's are not book canon, they are no Jo's idea. There is one part in the books Pansy is said to have "a group of Slytherin girls" but there is nothing furthur to suggest that is more than just a clique.
As well, nope we didn't have a head. It was just a group of friends.
Finally, as long as Mary's acting up in her third year didn't ruin her chances it would be great for her to be a Queen. She did always want to be one since I had Millie and Isreal bumping her around in my head lol. My only worry would be that year when she wasn't a proper Slyth because the other girls would never have elected her if they knew about it from what I could tell...

Yep, Cat's plan. Lol, wouldn't call it friends... Just elitists. I think it'll be okay. Just have them be ignorant to it. Oh yes. We girls need a sorta... purpose? Well, we need to make sure the Queens are properly resurrected. I propose a post... and once D's innocence has been lost I will roleplay her terrorising people. xD But anyway, sometimes they need to meet and... um... any ideas about their role in the school?

Kailyn is definitely up for it. This will work nicely for our plot with Kailyn, Jo, and Dakota. Just having them all be Queens would make it more interesting. As for Kailyn's character, she's outwardly appropriate. Her inward character is riddled with fear, anxiety, and perhaps depression, but she's burried these feelings and clearly hides them from others, so I think that she'd have been chosen just based on the person that she lets others see.
I agree that this overall group shouldn't be a formal plot. We can have group posts, but I think that the main purpose of the Queens was just to really set apart those of higher status. Yes, they shared similar views, mostly about mudbloods and Voldemort's rain, but I don't think that they really had meetings to make things happen.
