Circle one: Lords of Slytherin / Kings of Slytherin I like Lords because it sounds better. Would you rather be a frumpy King or a powerful Lord? Dracula was no King and look what he did. I know a concern is that Lords are lower in status than Queens. But so what? The girls have made it clear that they want their own group. Let them. Besides, we know who's really in charge.

Well, in terms of what sounds cooler and more powerful, I'd have to go with Lords, but, even though the two will be seperate groups, they are still parellel groups and should correspond. So I would go with Kings based on that assumption.
Soooo......Can I vote twice? Once for Lords cause its Uber cooler, and once for Kings cause its proper.

Hey guys, Just two things. Obviously, as I have stressed already, the boys who become involved in the Kings/Lords need to be suitable for the role - and I mean personality-wise. Althoug the Queens and Kings/Lords are separate groups, unless the boys were actually feared Slytherins, there wouldn't be much point in making an unelitist group as then all the Slytherin boys would a part of it, and what would its objective be? Secondly, although the Queens and Kings/Lords are a parallel group, I don't know how much they will correspond... The Queens will do their own thing, as will the Kings/Lords. So if it's the Lords it might make more sense...? As Kings shows they are a part of each other and I can imagine neither the boys or the girls want to be attached to one another. They're too... individualistic. So anyway, thought I'd drop in and say that.

*looks at Dakota's post*
So, does this mean Dylan can't participate because he's not exactly a jerk?
If he can, I still vote for lords.

I don't think it's so much of being a jerk as it is just general Slytherin qualities in general. Members of these groups would need to be very confident supporters of pureblood lines and against muggles or half-bloods having any sort of power. They are the elite Slytherins or at least those who think they are the elite. I don't think Dakota is saying Dylan can't be part of it. She's just emphasizing the sanctity of the group and saying that members who want their students to be in it should be sure that their characters are prime examples of Slytherin students who aren't in any way timid or lacking in Slytherin qualities. For instance, Drake is too apathetic in general to be in this group. Drake could care less about blood lines. Drake has a Slytherin personality, but he's not meant for the group. As a friend I'll be honest and say that I don't think Dylan fits the group, but that's for you to decide. It doesn't mean he is any less of a Slytherin. I just haven't seen Dylan portray a character or values which are congruent with the original group of Queens. Nobody is going to tell you that you can't be part of it, but Dylan would have to live up to the group's expectations. Hopefully this helped clear things up!

No Drake, your right. Dylan doesn't fit the group at all. You did clear it up, and like Drake, Dylan could care less about bloodlines too, so.....that's that.
