How very odd. The owl Ruby posted about the lack of Slytherins seems to have disappeared. Odd. But anyway! I thought I'd make my own. Dakota's all for stepping up. Well, yes, firstly, meet my completely Slytherin character: Dakota Padme Fox, fifth year. She's nothing like India, I'm afraid - just pure evil genius. xD Unfortunately, like India, Dakota doesn't do Quidditch. I'll tell you what she does want to do though - and this is something we talked about in that missing owl - The Queens of Slytherin. Yes yes. Dakota and I would like to revive that group but with a twist. I'd hate for this to limited to just the girls. I was going to suggest reinventing something like The Chosen, but that's something I don't want to touch (lol) and I've always loved the idea of the Queens. So my idea is this: to have the Kings of Slytherin as well - four of each to make eight elitist Slytherins. Obviously I have tp pitch this to staff first, but I just wanted to see what you members' reactions were first. Do you like it? Do you want to participate? Do you think it's a silly idea? Or would you rather not bring back a blast from the past? So yes. Hit me with your comments. Viv

You're on the same wave length as me. I've been discussing this with several others, but I'm definitely in (as if I'd let this opportunity pass me by).

Sign me up! Do you think we can get 8 people? That's over half of our available Slythies. Either way, it sounds like fun. Drake wouldn't be good for it though, so Kailyn's the only charrie I can offer. I think she'd work very well with this, especially if Josephine is a part of it.

Well like I said in the Slytherin Party I would rather be a Lord than a King. I like the term Lord. But I think that Kailyn is right, that would be over half of the Slytherins. But I would be interested. Slytherins deserve something special.

I definitely think Kailyn, Jo, and Dakota would be friends actually. We're all pretty much in the same personality range. So...that being said... *snickers* I'm doing a bit of detail on the Kailyn, Jo, Tiernan plot...Viv if you're interested in joining in I have an idea that could work...if Tiernan and Kailyn do not object of course...
But you don't get to hear about it right now. I have to go to work in a few moments and have no time to post it. But when I get back if it's not too late I'll type it all up and send it to all of you if you express interest in it. Course I have to work 6am to 10pm tomorrow so we might not get a chance to talk about it...well Viv and I might if I'm up all night, but we shall see...and now I'm droning on.

Well, I realised last night that we could have eight, but there would be an uneven balance of girls and boys. The only guys are Wynd and Julian, if he's interested. There are so many girls... *sigh* What do you guys propose? I thought we could have three girls, three guys, but that won't work due to the lack of guys, and it'd mean lots of the available girls won't get a chance to be involved. Josephine Bowman S7: Yes, D would be 'friends' with Jo and Kailyn, as in... she'll smile and share gossip with them but quite frankly she'd be happy to stab them in the back when the time comes. Aw dear, my darling D really is quite ruthless. xD

I know this owl isn't addressed to me just yet, but I've got a bio and whatnot for a Slytherin guy that I love already. (: If you're short of males, he'd be perfect. It'll be a while until he's up and running though.

Well...here's my proposal. The Queens of Slytherin was an elite grouping of pureblood women...not just any person could get involved. So I think that should be thought about in making this decision on reforming this type of group...Also I think the men should be in charge of their own. It'd be less for us to deal with all together.
And wonderful Viv...She'll do exactly what I want her to do then. But I'll get around to telling you about that later. It's 3AM here and I have work in 3 hours, so I should get an hour or so of sleep before my 15 hour work schedule. So hopefully during my breaks tomorrow, today, whatever I can write up my ideas and send it out to the ones involved.

Yes yes. I just wanted to make sure that people wanted to do this thing. For the Queens, well, the obvious people are D, Jo and Kailyn. I was wondering if you wanted Ruby to be involved. *shrug* But yes, please PM me on Ariane. I look forward to it. As for the boys, I didn't plan on getting involved, but I wanted to suggest the idea. @oscar: I don't think it'd matter much when your charrie is up. This might not start for a while yet.

Hmmmmm. Dylan would like to participate . And I agree with Wynd. I like Lords better than Kings. It just feels good somehow lol.

Well, if there is to be an elite group of males than Pyro surely wouldn't be counted out.
In terms of what sounds cooler, I'd have to agree with Wynd and go with the term Lord. But to keep it as a parallel group to the the girls, I think we should stick with Kings, since they are the Queens.

I do think I could get Julian interested. I don't think he would want to be left out of such an elite group.

Pyro and Julian, it's great to hear from you. Thanks for replying. Well, to give a short summary of what's gonna happen... Staff have approved the revival of the Queen of Slytherins; I also got permission from the creators to use the idea, so no worries there either. So yay! As for the Kings/Lords, if you boys are still interested, then my advice is to create and devise the group amongst yourselves, if you're up for it. Myself and the 'girls' (since Adam isn't a girl ) will prepare for the Queens. They'll be two separate groups. Please could you, between yourselves, outline the group and present it to staff? We girls will do the same... I'm sure we staff just want to make sure everything is canon and following the rules, etc. I'm worried about it myself because the Queens weren't around much any more when I came to 4Houses, so I don't have much knowledge of the Queens and their roles, and I'm looking to the old members to lead the way on this one. The biggest thing staff stressed when I pitched the idea to them was this: the Queens (and Lords/Kings, if they are to be the parallel group of the Queens, and to give them a true purpose of forming) were/are an elite group; their members are scary - powerful, frightening people. So... a typical member of the girls would be Ruby Lehane, say. And for the boys it'd be Wynd, or Julian, or Pyro. So basically, Dylan, unless your character changes his personality, it would uncanon to actually have him be a part of the Kings/Lords. After all, we've got to respect and follow through the idea of the original creators of the Queens, and it wasn't a group for ordinary Slytherin girls - it was a proper elitist group. I suppose a lot of you will question D's suitability for the Queens - but now worries. She's about to change - big time. My original plan was to ruin her... her character, anyway. 'Cause underneath it all she's very innocent and naive. This'll be dashed, and well... She'll be one of the bitterest, nastiest and most frightening Queen you'll have ever met. xD;; So... for the Queens, I was hoping Kailyn, Jo and Mary are still up for it - that is, if you know your characters' personalities are up to the job of being a Queen. Do not submit yourself if your character won't fit the bill - staff will be careful to monitor that it's all canon. I don't want to revive a group in the wrong way.

[Nails brush over robes and she smirks] Well now that I've been called out by name I feel it's a necessity to show up and join in. Besides I do remember the Queen's and their extraordinary presence.

Basically what you're saying is the boys are on their own. Fine by us.
