EH?! Really? I thought 7th was a Thursday! That's what I put in my notice on the school online noticeboard! GAH!
I'm sure we agreed never to set deadlines on Fridays. It has to be Thursdays so we can harrass them personally on Fridays!

Yes. I already edited it. Ho yes, you can be calm, with your wonderfully reliable writers. Mine? Mine? I have to chase after mine with sticks! Burning ones at that! I'm going to talk to my writers this month and have them know I want it a day early. Tough. They'll just have to do it. Unless they beg and then I'm just too pathetic to resist them. *sigh* But um, on the subject on 'my writers this month'... who are mine to edit this month? We didn't type up a formal list this month, which was a bit... disorganised of us. And I need to make sure the rest of the 140 copies of October's Scrawl are properly printed and distributed on Monday. Blah. What wonderful timing for the printer to break and for the printing lady's husband to be in hospital.  Poor woman. |

I have them all written down on a piece of paper. I offered it to you but I think you wrote down your own list and said you were going to type it up. Anyhow then we have too many writers this month (which is my fault for forgetting Lily and Lily's fault for not coming and someone else's fault for telling Lily she didn't need to go)... so don't stress too much over it. You will have to write a shorter editorial note if we're going to fit the stuff in.  I'm editing: Alexandra (CW) Ashy (Poem) Celia (Book Review) Emily (Withington Focus) Lily (Point of View) Lucinda & Sheanna (School Poll) Winnie (Science & Technology) You're editing: Charlotte (Snapshot Into... I think she said Nero) Eleanor (Film Review) Joelle (Front Cover) Julia (Fashion) Kathryn (QI) Miriam (Thought Box) Natasha (Charities) I think - I hope - that's it. I appear to be editing more articles than you. Since the front cover picture isn't an article. The only one I'd be prepared to give up though is Emily's. Emma H isn't doing one this month, right? |

This is Viv talking now, not Ariane, because... Seriously. Seriously, folks. I have not had a single vote. Okay, besides my own, and besides Izy - and she's the Head, so she doesn't count! (Well, she does in the votes, but she doesn't count because we expect her to participate in these things!) How many members do we have here? How many regulars do we have here? I can accept that only two (three including Scott) posted in the Gryff party because people may be too busy, or too lazy, or just plain uninnovative when it comes to costumes, but I will not allow their hard work to be wasted. Vote, for goodness sake, people! No one has an excuse - everyone can see all the Common Rooms now. To make your lives easier (  ), I can tell you that for the Gryffindor party, three people are in the running for best costume: Scott Ryder G6, Cassandra Fallon G7 and Oscar Flynn G6. If you are that lazy or busy and can't read their posts but would still like to vote (and please do!), then I can tell you that Scott is dressed as a big black spider, Cass is dressed as a fiary godmother, and Oscar is a knight in shining armour (the picture provided is utterly hilarious; well, Theo thought it was anyway ). You folks have till this Friday - two days - to get these votes PMed to me. C'mon now - will no one participate in what some of us staff members and members work so hard on? Don't waste Adam's idea and organisation, nor the members' posting and innovation for costumes. It isn't going to take you hours! And not just Gryff either.
