The good news with that, Oscar is switching Cass out with Julius who has a strength of 1 instead of Cass' 6 so that's good for us. Also he's putting Rosaliz back in who has not posted all game so it looks like they are down one Chaser.

Billy, could you attack Scott for me? Again and again and again? (sorry Adam, Scott's annoying me )

Izy and Adam, what would you say if we put Carson in as Seeker? He has prefect stats to compete with Melody.

1. Finn is F-I-N-E. Calm down.

2. Only down 5 points. Julius got given 5 points and Cassie lost 10.

3. It depends how Carson feels about that. While Seeker is his secondary position, he doesn't want to play as Seeker, and it's still more reliable to have a player with lower stats who wants to be playing than a player with higher stats who would rather not be posting in a position. If Carson is willing to play as Seeker then yeah, great! However, I've been working on the basis that his position on that will be unchanged from last game - ie. that he absolutely doesn't want to...

Firstly then... YEY CHACE! It's wonderful that we're now in the lead. We just need to keep it up. ;D

Secondly, substitution and tactics planning time. While from a personal point of view it would be good if the game ended soon, from Hufflepuff's point of view, I think a long game is probably a good thing if Seth can keep blocking the Gryffs from scoring and we can keep on scoring - we have a large points deficit to make up, obviously... but if the game does go on, we're going to need to make some substitutions (also, Viv, will you be able to do Quidditch rolls for me? I can ask Mary if you're going to be too busy but I know you've only got the one charrie in this game).

Anyway, if the game goes on beyond Sunday, we're going to need to start making substitutions. So I want to check who I can rely on from my reserves! It seems that Carson isn't going to be able to play, which is all right, but are Kael and Sita here? Oh yeah, I'm Sita... mmm well she's here then. Kael, are you here?

Since our lovely Kathryn will be taking an exciting and enjoyable trip to a beautiful, hopefully sunny but possibly still frigid Durham on Tuesday and Wednesday, we need to substitute Sophia and Billy out on these days. Unfortunately since we can't use Carson, our only alternatives for Beater are Chace, who has good strength for a Beater but who will be missed as a Chaser, and Finn, who doesn't have quite such good strength and who has better Dex than Sita (the alternative Seeker). So in conclusion, I think we're going to have to switch Chace to Beater *very briefly*. IC, I think Ivy's reasoning will be to allow the rest of the team some more playing time.

So in Monday's round, I'll make the following substitutions:
Substituting Billy Brady H5 and Sophia Hallington H6 out of the game.
Switching Chace Coxen H7 from Chaser to Beater.
Substituting Sita Mehadi H5 and Kael Collins H7 into the game as Chasers.

What I think I'll do is have Sita do something outrageous/stupidly dangerous on Wednesday, and Ivy get so frustrated/alarmed that she substitutes both of them out of the game so that she can personally escort Sita away from her players (don't worry, whatever Sita does won't be nearly as bad as Cassie... I haven't thought of what it might be. I'd have her take a Bludger for Billy but a) Billy won't be there and b) she wouldn't do that anyway). So then I've substituted myself out of the game! ;D

So on Wednesday:
Substituting Sita Mehadi H5 and Ivy Tunstall H7 out of the game.
Switching Chace Coxen H7 from Beater to Chaser.
Substituting Billy Brady H5 in as Beater.

Just to say... yeyyyyyyyyy!

I am absolutely chuffed that we won the game, and with 180 points too! That means that we're pretty much even for the next round with all the other teams (Gryffindor are only slightly ahead with 190 points). So... horaay! We're in with a chance now.

Thank you to all of you for posting... I'm sure Ivy will be saying this In Character, but you are all fantastic. Thanks especially to Finn for posting away every round - it can get quite boring I know but you didn't miss a round - and to Seth for your enthusiasm! Sydney and Chace, you did a great job. I'm glad that everyone - save Sita who doesn't matter obviously since that's me - turned up and was able to post in the match. It's great and I am still pretty much euphoric at the outcome of the match. ;D

So, feel free to celebrate below! And of course, if you have time, do post your reaction to the end of the match. Not only does it count towards your experience points (*cough* that's really what it's all about *cough*), but your character deserves to celebrate! I'll try to have Ivy post telling everyone how great they are.

I was listening to you! I must say, it's more frequent that um... you don't listen to me. I went and checked the list previously and saw that you'd already added them, but I thought there wasn't much point having put up Hooch's post with the description of why house points were gained/lost if I didn't leave it up a little for the people it relates to to read...

It should be Adam's job to update the Headers and Footers, but since he seemed *cough* a little reluctant to do it? and you've mentioned it several times, then I just went ahead and updated. (save doing Hooch's for aforementioned reason). After all... I have been updating the very same Header and Footer for years so I'm confident I won't break it! So I've processed Prof Druex and Granger's posts.
