How're you feeling? I didn't want to call you last night in case you were resting or sleeping. That and I was out most of last night as well. Feeling better today? It seems lots of people have been ill. Besides Lauren and Lucy, Mr Lockett was feeling awful. Strictly was all right. Baylis and Sharples won. Heh. O'Neal and Jay were good and Lockett and Robinson were funny.

So that's your excuse is it? I'm mostly all right today. Well I spent the afternoon on the settee with my duvet and pillow. I didn't feel too good, but I also didn't feel bad enough not to be frustrated at not being able to do anything (headache really bad when I moved too much...). I've had the headache since Wednesday or Tuesday, it's been getting gradually worse, and yesterday the nausea set in for good (I'd had it a little for a few days as well) which was not very pleasant. Also the slightest bit of loud noise was really distressing. I'm not that ill though... haven't actually thrown up apart from a little on Thurs... my stomach's just been feeling unsettled. *shrug* It's a bit frustrating, as I said... because I'd rather have been getting stuff done. Staring at a computer screen for more than ten minutes is problematic as well... though I have ignored that to some extent. *ahem* I should go get off now. Yup, I'm sad to have missed Strictly, but obviously with my aversion to noise yesterday it wouldn't have been so nice for me.

Lol yes it is! I wasn't going to call you whilst eating with my parents in a restaurant or playing badminton. ;) I didn't get hom till 10:30 p.m. I assumed you were asleep by then.
...You were asleep by then, right? :P
Ouch. Sounds bad. :( But at least you're not feeling too ill that you're throwing up, etc. :) Hopefully it'll pass.
EDIT: I need your help (if you feel up to it). I'm editing the Anonymous Writer's article and... well, I'm a bit concerned about the last line. I don't know if Sharples will read it and kill me... or if Pickering will censor it. Tell me what you think? I'll email it you now and highlight the problem in red. Tell me if you think I should take it out (I think I should...).

No, I was giving my mum instructions on how to put up Hooch's post in order that I could go to bed before 11pm... Send me the article, I guess. I haven't had any of mine yet.

Ah... Izy, would you like me to do Hooch for the next few days? Honestly, I can do it. Don't strain yourself. I'm happy to and I'm free to. I sent it you. Thanks. EDIT: I got the Ivy/Theo post up for the Ball, btw ( When Boy Meets Girl). Reply if you want to, or we could just leave it. Either way, I don't mind.

Hello, I was wondering if you'd taken a look at the Anonymous Writer's last line for me? :)
Also, does the following sentence need a full stop on the end? I always get confused with this and it's rather hard to Google:
Albeit the majority of people who claim to be indigenous Britons often originate from immigrants and most people can’t answer the question ‘What is it to be British?’.
I would put a full stop, but obviously Word tells me I'm wrong and I don't know... :/
Also, I do hope someone sorts out the 'rogue ram' on the boards before I um, well, strangle it and roast it into mutton. D<

Yep. :) Tell Lucy to leave a space. *nod* I do that for Charlotte. To be honest, I don't think Lucy will have done the main body of the mag by then, so Monday night should be fine.

...Lol.
I told you so.
*sigh*
That's why I had an idea with the paging...
Basically, if Lucy puts all of the Editorial Note on the very first page, then she can put the contents, credits and poem on the second page. If that makes sense...
Otherwise, it'll never fit on.
*goes to read what you put* -- I'll edit here in a min with what I think. Thanks again. :)
EDIT: Okies, I agree with it all, except this one:
'The artists, especially Joelle Tamin, have produced stunning artwork to exhibition for each issue of Scrawl, and the writers have worked hard every single month to ensure we can print sixteen pages of brilliance.'
Noo, brilliance? Sounds very odd... and a bit arrogant really. I'd rather stick with 'brilliant writing', or '[insert another word the equivalent of brilliant] writing'. Have you any suggestions?

I agree that it sounds arrogant (hence the question mark I believe I put after it), but it's just the 'writers producing brilliant writing' that also doesn't seem so um... well, interesting to read. Some Vergilian variety of vocab would be good at this point...
I suggested getting rid of the 'to exhibition' bit too.

Yes yes, I've changed everything now except the 'brilliant writing' one. :)
Does it need to be interesting? >>;;
How about 'engaging writing'? ><;;

I don't have an issue with 'brilliant', just with 'writers... writing'. Duh... what else do they do hehe?

Wai San told me that, for tomorrow at Chaos Theory, people under 18 years old need parental agreement or something for their child to be filmed... :P So um... *shrug* I don't know if Tori told you, but I thought I'd pass on the message, since you are shy off adulthood, lol. There'll be camera crews there for the DVD, I believe, and photography, which is why Tori needs it.
EDIT: I also have nothing to wear for One Day More, which everyone should be in... (It's from Les Mis). The same goes for Wipe Out, which is the finale - I don't even know the song or what the heck to wear! D:

Lol, are you two arguing over me? :P
Izy, just thought I'd mention... Sita and Billy aren't on the rosters for your team. :P Odd. I was looking at it thinking, I'm very worried for Izy's team next year, they're all graduating! But then I realised you'd missed off Billy and Sita. :)
Anyhoos, I hope you get more Huffles next year. Since Aurora and Seth will be graduating, I technically won't have any in-school Huffles anymore. D:
