Hi folks - this is just a plea to everyone playing to please edit your posts in the Quidditch game to include IC content as soon after putting them up as you can. Quidditch on Four Houses has always been intended to be an IC game - otherwise we would play it in General Thoughts, not in a roleplaying board! The IC posts are what make the game exciting, so please, don't treat them as an optional extra.
Of course, if you're very busy, that's why we allow OOC posts so that you don't let your team down, but you should go back and edit them as soon as you do have time - you can respond to what other people put in their posts, and for me at least that's a lot of the fun of Quidditch. We didn't used to allow OOC posts at all, from the fear that Quidditch would become just an OOC game. Please don't let this happen!
I can understand that if you're RPing characters that are graduating, the experience points gained as a reward for IC posts won't be any use to you, but actually the RPing should be reward enough itself! In fact, a couple of our seventh years deserve special mention for producing great quality IC Quidditch posts before or soon after the end of the round - I'm thinking of Dylan + Finn here - thanks guys, I'm enjoying reading!
