Plot Name: How To Save A Life
Major Characters Involved: Heidi Fleming, Maribeth Grayson, Ben O'Leary, Miguel Taveras, Julia Wong
Minor Characters Involved: Cressie Parks
Plot Summary:
Ben O'Leary, a graduate Hufflepuff, is about to start an internship at St Mungo's Hospital. Joining him are Julia Wong, Maribeth Grayson, and Heidi Fleming, also graduates of Hogwarts, but from Ravenclaw. Julia is ruthless and apparently cold-hearted; Maribeth is the daughter of an infamous healer whom she feels she can never live up to; and Heidi just wants a better life for her and her mother... and the daughter she could never have. All four healer interns expect that life will not exactly be easy at the hospital, but somehow not only do their professional work lives become more complex, their personal and private backgrounds are brought into the equation too. They never thought that every day would be a struggle to save lives, help each other, and hope to stay afloat in this ludicrous, emotional profession.
Following the four interns on their journey is Cressie Parks, now a resident at St Mungo's and ex-Hufflepuff. Having enjoyed the rollercoaster ride of a year beforehand, what Cressie wants least is to experience it all over again. Now she takes pride in being able to boss her interns around; being at the end of the great chain of being was never fun, to say the least. However, little does she know that getting away from the wild life is not as easy as she thought it would be.
The highest along the 'chain of great being' is Miguel Taveras, a Ravenclaw graduate so successful as a healer that he is now head of his own department. Unknown to him, he and Heidi have history that runs deeper than they could possibly imagine. However, before they can put all those pieces together again, Miguel realises he only has limited time left to find out more.
Join these healing humans on a quest of saving lives, self discovery, and love and loss, as we step into Heidi, Ben, Maribeth and Julia's first year at St Mungo's.
