Plot Name: The Culture of Love and Despair

Plot Summary: Carey Brighton was raised in a very uptight family. She was treated more like an employee than a daughter by her father and she was always doing things for the family’s best interests, or the business’s best interest. It wasn’t until the summer of her 4th heading into 5th year that she met Loki Fen’Rolphus who was someone so completely her opposite that there was an instant connection with him. They grew close over the summer holidays and she was soon calling him her best friend. Of course, like any other girl, Carey has insecurities and so, when school started and a fellow house mate of hers mentioned the way Loki might be using her, Carey let it get the worst of her and she avoided him. Loki didn’t take this well and on the night of his birthday he called her out on her avoiding him; it was then they realized that what they felt for each other went far deeper than just a best-friend emotion.

Ethan’s House Party! – Carey attends a party thrown by Ethan Jacobs and suddenly finds herself bored when Loki shows up and they spend the rest of the night talking and hanging out in the park across the street from Ethan’s.
Tea and Talk – Carey and Loki meet up in Hogsmeade like they usually do and the lunch turns sour when Carey lets her insecurities overcome her.
Everyone Sees It But Us – The school term has started and Carey and Loki are acting more couple-ish as the time goes on, but they don’t really see it…or do they?
Take It Easy – Frustrated with Carey and her avoiding him, Loki calls Carey out of the Hufflepuff common room and they establish their feelings with each other.
What A Night – For the first time, Carey is presented with the opportunity to be with Loki on a full moon night.
The Coming Curse - Loki receives a letter and decides to meet a stranger at the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade, and realizes that he probably shouldn't have - a bit too late.
The Heart Knows - While at a meeting with her father, Carey knows something isn't right with Loki, and she finds out exactly what.
After The Fall - Loki awakes after being kidnapped and learns not only about the origin of werewolf kind, but also the truth behind his birth.
