Plot Summary: Weetzie O’Keeffe and Bryce Alexander became close friends last year. They were nearly inseparable. During that summer, Weetzie’s young cousin (who was more like a daughter to her) Gracie died and caused Weetzie to go into a downward spiral. Meanwhile, Bryce and Ashley Hill had started to form a bond that would soon grow into a relationship. As Weetzie alienates everyone and gets a sour attitude, she starts to sever ties with those who care about her and starts to fall into the arms of pretty boy Chris Crawford.

Throughout this year, Weetzie and Bryce have a falling out that leads to Weetzie going on tour with Chris during the summer hols of her 6th year (so next summer). Things with Chris heat up and then take a turn for the worst, all the while Ashley persuades Bryce to go after Weetzie. Weetzie and Bryce reconcile their friendship and return to England only to find that Ashley has left for Italy. With a torn up Weetzie and Bryce the year starts out terribly. Noah goes to Italy to bring Chris back from the end of his tour and brings Ashley back as well. All friendships/relationships are reconciled.

Best Face Forward – Bryce and Weetzie meet in the Hospital Wing. An instant friendship is formed.

One Day – Bryce and Weetzie celebrate his birthday and Valentines day in an odd yet very entertaining way.

Nothing Like Pride – Weetzie takes Bryce with her to a family reunion and Bryce gets to meet her whole family; but most importantly, Gracelynn O’Keeffe.

Fallen From Gracie – Tragedy strikes by the form of death. Gracelynn is murdered and Weetzie is the one to find her with the help of Bryce.

Collide – Ashley and Bryce meet in an unexpected way and form a friendship.

Nothing Like A Little Cheer – Ashley and Bryce plan a night out to cheer Weetzie up, but Weetzie ends up being in quite a foul mood and the night only gets worse when Chris Crawford joins in on the “fun.”

First Dibs- Chris and Noah meet for the first time looking for books. These two very different people soon become best friends once Noah gives this arrogant jerk a chance.

Long Overdue for Fun- Bryce gets a letter from his twin Brianna, and then Ashley finds him on the grounds. They have fun with the autumn leaves and their bond begins to grow.

New Perspective - Weetzie meets Noah Bentley, Chris's best friend, in the hospital wing and talks to him about her feelings for both Chris and Bryce; resulting in tears and just even more confusion.

Glimpse of the Old Weetzie?- Weetzie has a rare moment of freedom from her distraught mood and Bryce is happy to find bits of her old personality; only the evening and nice time take a turn for the worst when Bryce does something that results in Weetzie's leaving.

Bring Me Along? - Weetzie and Chris talk about what happened with Bryce and Chris asks Weetzie if she'd like to go on tour with him over the summer hols.

Just for One Night - Bryce and Ashley attend the Winter Ball together. Just as the night seemed to be running smoothly, Bryce tells Ashley he had kissed Weetzie, but reveals shocking feelings that she didn't even know existed.
