Summary: It seemed that in a school full of segregations and house separations, the odds of a fifth year Gryffindor like Riley Coxen and a sixth year Slytherin like Jack Reid to even get along are slim to none. And this is before you add in the fact that Jack is a heartbroken and anti-social teenager who has sworn off women. What are the odds that, on a sunny day in the Hogwarts Courtyard, something could click between these two very “different” teenagers and chemistry occurs. Once again, the chances are slim to none. But Riley and Jack went against those odds. No one would have ever imagined the two could find their way toward each other, but surprisingly enough, they did. Through their schemes and trouble making escapades, the two find that they did in fact have plenty in common. What with Jack’s family problems along with Riley’s, it’s surprising they didn’t see the connection before. But what happened when Riley brings Jack home to meet the parents, or rather, parent? Will her mother be so accepting, or are there more odds Riley and Jack will have to overcome to be together? And what of the Reid family, will they approve?
It’s not like Riley and Jack are the kind of people that would care either way, but it’s always good to have your family on your side, even when you don’t really need them there to begin with. Secrets about both families unfold and Riley and Jack find it harder and harder to find a place of peace anymore. Will their relationship survive through such obstacles? Or will their love be conquered by the cruel fact of reality? No one seems to know the answers to any of these questions, so Riley and Jack just have to keep fighting and keep going against the odds, because right now, all they’ve really got is each other.

The Challenge - Jack sits alone reading a spells book when Riley is dared by the girls to go and try to get him to ask her out on a date by the end of day. What happens when a Gryffindor and a Slytherin get together? Things that are certainly out of the ordinary.
The Duel - Riley and Jack bump into each other in the hallway and decide to have their promised duel right then and there, in the middle of the school, while the students watch. Punishment is sure to be in store for them, but how much of it will actually sink in?
I'm Only Me When I'm With You - Riley and Jack decide to meet up one more time before curfew the same day of their duel, and conversations turn to a more serious nature.
Save Me From My Family - Jack and Riley spend the trip home on the train, but it's far from a romantic ride. When some of the family starts barging in, things start happening and who knows where it will go.
Sweet Escape (PG-13) - Veronica plans a blow out Christmas break party at her house while her parents are gone, and Riley convinces Jack to show up. Who know the level of mischief that could be reached on this night?
Christmas In The Reid House - Christmas Day comes and the boys are all home for the holiday, but how will Jackson act when Jack's new girlfriend Riley shows up at the door for a little alone time?
New York New Years - Jack decides to take Riley to New York for a New Years getaway before they have to go back to Hogwarts for second term.
