Jason Blade was doing just fine on his own. He didn’t need the wife that had so carelessly left him for a trip to Rome, nor did he need a new woman to take her place. He could do just fine on his own, thank you very much. He had his own restaraunt, and was doing just fine running it and caring for his daughter. He spent four long years living without the compassion of a grown woman, and he did just fine despite the fact that he’d always had one by his side. Jason probably figured he’d live this way forever. But he thought wrong. People like Jason Blade just don’t spend their lives in such a quiet existence. With people like Jason Blade, something must always come next; two somethings in fact, that could easily turn his peaceful little word upside down.
That first something was named Julie McGreggor. Julie was strong, beautiful, and confident. She also ran an art class in Wales, where Jason now lived. Julie lived a decently quiet life as well with her younger brother and her caring students in her life. She’d dated countless men in the past, much unlike Jason who had only ever dated once. Julie has quite a past for someone of only twenty-three years old, but her past is nothing compared to her future and what it holds for her.
The connection between Julie and Jason is strong, even within the first few moments of their meeting. Sparks fly once they find they went to school together, and both find that many things have changed since they were teenagers. Not to mention Julie has a special sort of love for Jason’s daughter Darcy, who is now a student in her class. Julie could be the one to finally help Jason get over his ex-wife, but what happens when that very lady comes back into town? Will Morgan be able to come to terms with the fact that Jason could be in love with someone else? Or will she be willing to fight to the death to win him over once more? After all, their old flame was strong. Could it be so easily rekindled? Let’s hope for Julie’s sake Morgan is unsuccessful, but either way hearts will burn in this romantic tale of two lovers and a terrifying ex. Who will survive? And better yet, will these two lovers take their friends along for the wild roller coaster ride of madness and romance? Only God knows what could possibly be in store for these five young adults, and he doesn't seem to be sharing his knowledge with anyone.
