Plot Summary:
The Jamester: Mackenzie Holden had always had a knack for music. She taught herself how to play guitar and she learned how to control her voice in ways that many people can't possibly understand. Growing up in a rather dysfunctional family, Mack only had one real friend - James Bray. He helped her flourish in her talent for music and even helped her get signed with G-Major records. Somewhere along the lines, Jamie told Mack he fell in love with her - but she didn't return the feeling. They had a falling out and haven't spoken since. But suddenly, with Mack returning to London; Jamie is everywhere, and Mack knows they have to smooth some things out. Where will it lead?
Little Tommy Q.: Mack signing to G-Major records meant she had to work with the famous once-was-boy-band-member Tom Quincy. At first, they didn't get along. He thought she was a poseur and she thought he was a washed out used-to-be who just wanted to get back into the spotlight. Regardless of their differences, however, they produced and recorded two very good albums together. Around the time Mack was left heartbroken over her boyfriend Jack Rendel, Tommy was there to pick up the pieces - only...he's 5 years older than her. It was wrong. After Mack fled, they didn't speak at all, but now she's looking for that reassuring musical feeling and the only person who can give it to her is Tommy. Now, that they're back together in the studio - who knows what will happen. After all, she's now 23...but then again...he is engaged.
Ky-Tepp: With an attitude the size of a glacier, Kyle and Mack have always gotten along. He knows how to make her have fun and forget her problems. Of course, he's come a long way since Mack last saw him - playing guitar now as well as the drums. But he also seems a bit more mature. Will he be the one she turns to when she needs support? Or will Libba Riordan, G-Major's hot new artist, blow her way into Kyle's life and shove Mack out of it when she needs her friend the most?
The Choice: Mack's heart is torn in three directions, and she has no idea which way to go. Will she be able to make the choice successfully or will her stress about being back in the studio, the press, the paparazzi, and the drama cause her to go down a darker much less travelled road? And will her friends, family, and love be able to help her if she finds herself in trouble?
