In her fifth year she was admitted into Bethlam Mental Institution and released at the end of the first semester to return to Hogwarts. She lived her life in shadow until her 6th year when she was accepted in the Queens of Slytherin and then forced into an engagement she wasn’t quite happy to be forced into. It was in her 7th year that she dropped the Queens of Slytherin and called off the engagement to Harrison Brooks. It was also in her 7th year that she formed a friendship with Adam Greene. The friendship was a slow start, but Adam slowly became the first person that Dixie could ever trust. She told him her story, all of it (much to her sister’s dislike), to him and he was the only one to know the whole story.
Soon enough, stronger feelings began to develop between the two 7th years. Dixie invited Adam to a party hosted by Raelee Gray’s father. Rae was an old friend of Dixie who she used to go partying with, but once she was committed she lost contact. They ditch the party and go to a near by infamous club.
