NB: Posting here does not mean that you are obliged to post your character in class if you don't want to/ don't have the time. I simply want a rough estimate of the number of students that I have in each year group, for a variety of reasons (given below in case you doubt my intentions):

- I'm curious as to how much interest there is and it's always good information for posting to know who takes your professor's subject. Plus this way I can at least pester you to take part, even if I'm unsuccessful!
- I will be running at least two separate classes this year - one for OWLs, one for NEWTs. I want to see if I have enough students that I can take the risk of having a separate class for third years or whether I will have to combine them in with the OWLs.
-If I know the dates when you won't be available, I can hopefully choose the dates available in my own schedule when the maximum number of students will be able to attend each class.
