It is possible I am recruiting for this way too early... but it is something BIG, and I wanna make sure I'm ready for it when the time comes. 
Basically, these are the quick facts: I have a huge plot going on in my head, and in order to utilise such a demanding reel of activity, I will pretty much need at least half of the decent members of the site here. It is an intricate, imaginative and rather ambitious plan, but I am sure once you hear it, at least one of the characters and their possbile plot will draw you in. The reasons to why I want to do it are simple; firstly because it will be such, such fun to do! And secondly it will bring so many people together ro roleplay, like a big family, just like its characters.
The plot will most likely start around mid July, so you would, of course, need a free character slot at that point (another good reason to advertise now to give you time to consider, as well as factor in the possibility of keeping/gaining a character slot for that time). You'll need to make sure you're also approved for that level of roleplaying (the youngest characters are in fourth year; the oldest graduates). You'll also need to be able to meet the demands of posting, work well with your 'partner' in particular, and show genuine want to participate. Because it's such a big thing, I would need everyone's utmost cooperation.
At the moment, my partner-in-crime for this is Kia. She's kinda like my muse-person who I bombard online with my numerous ideas, lol. Although she's not taking charge of anything (I don't want to burden anyone with this responsibility), I also do not want to seem like the 'head' of this plot... I don't want to have to spear-head it, making sure it doesn't die on me! Once you have your charrie, they are yours! Yours and yours alone; although I have come up for the idea for all of them, I would hate it if you didn't make them your own - add things to their bios, choose your own avatars and stuff. I am only a guide, I suppose - the producer, you can say. I want everyone to be equal and to share ideas within each other. Nothing has to go by me, so it's not a 'Viv-plot'.
Anyway, onto the actual plot itself... (yes, you can see I am a rambler!!). The background is basically about a family of five children - a graduate daughter, a seventh year son, fifth year twins (a girl and a boy), and a baby son in fourth year. Each of them will have a respective 'partner' (a love interest, obviously, of the opposite sex, apart from the seventh year son, who will be gay). So of course, I'd need a person to play each of those siblings (all extremely different), and people to play their partners. If you play a sibling, you'll most likely be interacting with the other siblings as well as your partner; as a partner, most likely you will do less in the family area and focus on the sibling themselves. That's not it, though - there's also the illegitimate half-daughter, a fourth year. As well, of course, as her partner. So all in all, I need a grand total of twelve characters - plus an extra one... who (I have not yet run this past my fellow plotters, I haven't had the time and memory) I could integrate very well into How To Save A Life. Most likely I don't think I'll need to find someone specific to play her too - she will be involved with the graduate sibling and her partner. Just as a note - although these charries will be made in the summer, they will be played as these years NEXT year.
Each of these thirteen characters are complex and have their own backgrounds and plotlines I have thought of. If you take one on, I will pass on a simply-made bio, possible avatars to use, their partners' bio, the basic plot I have for them - and leave it to you to expand. Like I said, I don't want to be... the controller or anything... I really don't want it to be like that. However, if you just wish to take my stuff and work like that, you are welcome too. Each plot is... crazy and extreme. There's adultery and unwanted pregnancies (yes, plural!) for the graduates; coming to terms with sexuality for the seventh year boys; love-lorn losses and possibly drugs with the twins and their partners; depression and *cough* attempted suicide for the fourth year baby boy; and for the outcast of the group, a struggle to come to terms with her heritage and your half siblings' hatred for her. On top of that of course, all the siblings' reaction to this outcast person, as well as to their father's betrayal, who dies at the beginning of the plot (yeah, if you've watched Brothers and Sisters, the inspiration started from there, but the plotlines are of a different variety, save for the gay brother). That is just a basic outline as well.
Trust me... and ask Kia if you want - this is just the beginning.
And yes. This will be a very PG-13 plot.
Reasons for joining this... For the fun of it; to feel involved in something. It will be work - you will have to maintain your character, there is no doubt about that. You must pull your weight on the team. If you feel it's worth it, I'm sure you will be an excellent addition. You would have the chance of working with some other really good writers on the site that you may have never had the chance to before.
Um... I have rambled long enough. Given you enough info, lol! If you are interested in taking part, please just PM me and say so - people who plot with me know what I'm like with plots. I am meticulous and I am crazily addicted/dedicated/ambitious with them all. I would be happy to give you the quick lowdown of ALL the characters to give you a flavour of them all, and then you could decide if you were further interested in taking any of them on. I do need lots of members, as you can see, and the more the merrier! So... yeah. That's it from me. *grins in embarrassment* I knew I would feel really weird when it came to talking about this, but I am so eager to do this. Although it's not for about half a year yet... I can't wait to hear from people.

. You always have great ideas Viv, you really do! Whether I'd be available enough to be one of the more active plot-members, I would certainly like to take part. Are the charries in any specific house, or is that up to the person who plays them? I'm think perhaps I'd like to be one of the twins or one of their partners? Preferably one of the girls =). But hey, I'm not too bothered really, I'd just like to be involved somehow
