the Yamashi Yoda Project

Heya all;

I thought a new idea that it would be great. I know, it is great for me, and please let me know if there is anyone up for it. It is a project "to be a guy" [actually not to be, to see like a guy, lol]. Yeah! Ryoko [now, my base is Maki Horikita, you know] is a female, but four years ago she might be go to Beauxbatons because of her big family [not nuclear family].. And her cousin Yamashi Yoda might go to Hogwarts. It was a devise by her grandmother that was living in French. But Ryo wanted to go to Hogwarts much more. And she had lied to her grandma. The two family had lied to her. Yamashi was in Beauxbatonsand Ryo was in Hogwarts.

But this holiday, grandma is coming to see her grandson to Hogsmeade that is in Hogwarts. Ryoko is cutting her hair and beginning to act like her cousin Yamashi. Already, the grandma is so old and could not differentiate this. Also, even, she looks like Yamashi..

But then, Ryo knew grandma will stay here for a long time. Even, grandma Hibari is becoming an employee of Hogwarts. She knew she must be the same all the time. Like her cousin.

Now, she's the man. =)

And for this project, I need friends for my charrie. Is anyone up for it?

I'm going to be starting a post with Sita for you because I promised it to you long ago!

She was going to try to set up Ryoko with her best friend Billy... hmm I'll have a think about that.

I have a few questions about the plot - which I think is really creative, by the way. Some of them are just curiosity, really, but I also want to make sure that it fits in with canon before editing your biography, which I would like to be able to do. I'm not sure that it quite works at the moment, but it shouldn't be too difficult to make it work! As I said, I think it's a really good idea.

My first question is this: do you realise that Beauxbatons is an all girls' school? So if the real Yamishi has gone there, he'll have to be pretending to be a girl!!! (which might be a slight problem when his voice breaks...) Maybe it doesn't matter where Yamishi has really gone, so long as the grandma doesn't know, but I'm not sure that Beauxbatons is the right choice.

My second question follows on from that: who does Hogwarts think Ryoko is? (what name have the teachers been calling her by?)

Next: if you go ahead with your plan of having Ryoko's grandma as a Hogwarts employee (god-moding her in Ryoko's posts?), what role were you thinking she might take within the school, especially considering you've described her as partially senile? (Senile means that she's losing some of her thinking abilities due to her old age). Perhaps a part-time French tutor/running a 'French' club?

And lastly... this isn't a question, just an English grammar hint because I know you're wanting to learn. - 'French' is the adjective describing the language and people ('The French') who live in 'France', which is the name of the country.

Firstly; thanks to you for interested in this idea. Actually, I thought it very quickly and had written it quickly. So I coud not say somethings, i think. Now I’m gonna try to explain it exactly.

I did not know that Beauxbatons is an all girls' school. I remembered this now. So sorry. It’s imposible Yamashi to go there, right. Then, it must be to change. The plot idea..

Then, let’s begin again:

Hibari had moved to Korea because of her second husband. And lived in there 20 years, approximately. And a, Hibari’s grandchild Yamashi that he is an orphan might go to Hogwarts before years because of his death father and mother. His parents are graduated of Hogwarts. So the grandma Hibari wanted Yamashi to go to Hogwarts too. But she did not know that he is a kofti. And Ryo’s family did not tell her anything about that to not be upset her. And they had lied her. They had said that he went to go Hogwarts for his education. After the grandma’s husband died, she decided to move to London and to see her grandchild Yamashi.

By the way, Hibari was a bit evil towards to Ryo (according to Ryo). And before years, she had coerced Ryo’s family to send their daughter Ryo to go to Beauxbatons. She already knew that Ryo did not want to go there. Ryo had wanted to go Hogwarts. But the evil grandma had not want to see her in Hogwarts. Because of Ryo’s want, they had lied to Hibari that Ryo went to Beauxbatons, either. When Hibari came to London, Ryo thought she did not stay here a lot. But when she learned Hibari began to work in Hogwart for Yamashi’s sake. She understood she must to continue to role this little dirty secret.

And a.. All teachers know that Ryo is Ryo. But they all know the grandma and Ryo’s tale too. They all know the grandma is so old too. Baceuse of this, to not be upset Hibari, specially in her last days in the world, they all is working to keep this little secret. And calling her “Yamashi”.. And some students already did not know anything about Ryo, so some students think the she is a guy.

In her 5th year, actually, the grandma will learn the truth. And then...

=)

I think that makes sense! I like it and I think it works well.

By 'Kofti', do you mean that although he has magical blood, he doesn't have any magical powers? I think that must be the translation of it that you've seen in the Harry Potter books. When the books are in English, someone with magical blood but no magical powers is called a 'Squib' (Argus Filch being an example). I think that's what you meant?

I think I had better check in staff that it's canon that the school would agree to keep it a secret... I personally expect they would agree to call her by a different name if the family requested it, but I don't expect they would be willing to move her to a boys' dormitory, for example, since they know that she's a girl.

So what is the grandmother working in Hogwarts as? And if Yamashi is an orphan, has he been living with Ryoko's family?

And, I think she could be a Professor in Hogwarts, and a, she checks all the time that his sleepings and rests. As I say, the grandma has very change personality, so depressive. So, she could be in male's dorm, time to time. And so, this will a really big problem for everyone. Because, there are so girls that do not know Ryo and there are so boys that ddo not know Ryo, either. And so, some boys in this school think she is a guy. And some girls think she is a guy too. =)

Hibari could be a Professor here?

By the way,

Ryo's family is in Japan now. They are living there. And Ryo is living in London with her godfather (baptism.) But now on, he is Yamashi's godfather. =)

And I want to say something too. Sita and Billy don't know Ryo either, right? They will know Yamashi. I think it is better! =)
