friendly advice, anyone?

I'm making a new charrie soon, and I'm trying to figure out who I should use for her avvie. She's going to be Ethan's long lost older sister. She'll have to look like a member of the Jacobs family. She'll be a seventh year Gryffindor. (I just can't get enough Gryffies!) The choices are:

Taylor Swift
Avril Lavigne
Nikki Hilton

I can't decide!!!! any suggestions?

You didn't really specify what sort of character you were looking to portray, personality wise... and I wasn't sure whether fitting in with the Jacobs family meant that she ought to have black hair for example.

If you want people's help, it's usually a good idea to give specific details. For example, you could have provided a link to a picture of Ethan, descriptions of the rest of the Jacobs family. If you give a few details of what you're wanting, it really does help people to help you.

No, not taking it personally, it wasn't very pleasant towards any of the members of the site as it referred to all of us. As a member of staff, it's my duty to uphold the rules of the site, the first two of which are:

• Respect all other members of the site and the administrators.
  
• No swearing, bashing or hateful posts towards another member will be tolerated!
  

I understand that it may just have been intended as a joke, but it's important to distinguish carefully, and it wasn't clear in this case. So do take care to be as nice as possible in future.
