Ahhhhh I'm so excited! There was a contest a while back open to everyone in the U.S. I won the contest, along with 999 others who got to bring along a guest. She signs one book per person, and since my guest isn't a Harry fan, she's giving me her book. I don't know which two books to chose!!!!!!!
Any ideas?

Personally I would get OotP signed (because that's my favourite book) and DH because it's the last one of the series... but that's just me.

well, me being the complete wierdo that I am...
I waited until the very last second before I left the house to catch my train and hastily decided on book 1 and book 7. The actual event was absolutley amazing, and completely worth the crowded trains and the present ache in my foot.
I was sitting about seven rows from the stage right in the middle of Carnegie Hall, so I had a pretty good view of what was going on onstage. Jo read from "The Silver Doe" (I think it was Chapter nine?) in the Deathly Hallows. She was quite funny. After the reading, she answered a few questions that were previously submitted online. One of the most interesting questions was one from a young boy...he was probably around twelve or thirteen, but it doesn't matter...anyway....he asked:
"Dumbledore believed in the everlasting power of love. Did he ever find love himself?"
This was Jo's reply:
"Well, I've always thought of Dumbledore to be gay..."
NOTE: These aren't direct quotes, as I can't remember exactly what she said, but that was the general idea. There were some other good ones that I can't think of right now, but I'll post later as I remember.
