Have you all noticed - we've been the number one top site for Mugglenet for a while now! *rejoices and throws confetti*

Maybe you guys aren't as excited as me. But we were not quite so high before... and I may as well pop this up here for anyone who hasn't noticed (for those who don't know, look to the top left of the homepage, above those house freewebs pages, where there's an ad to vote for us). Yay for us! I'm sure Izy's happy. Yup. We deserve it, after all!

Hmm, I'm kind of confused. This morning before I left for school, Hogwarts WAS number one. But now that I look at the list again, I found that we're now number 71? Is it possible to go that far down so quickly? And whenever I try to vote for us, it links to some other fan site. What's going on?

Goodness knows! I PMed Izy about this, thinking it wasn't something our wondrful members would care too much about seeing I was the only one in my excitement when we did make the top. Lol.

We have fluctuated a few times since becoming first... we were once fourth, and second, if I'm not mistaken. We always made it back to first though. But seventy-one! *swears* Goodness, I don't know if that's a glitch in their system, or if we really have been bunked that much. I think it's terrible! That is a big drop.

Though perhaps the fact we were first was a glitch in the first place? Lol, let's hope not.

But anyway, who cares? We know we're great and that's all that counts. *nods sagely*

I think that the ranks get reset every once in a while. That way sites that are no longer active automatically drop from the rankings without staying at a certain level. We just have to work our way back up to number 1 again, which we can do.

It has happened before, I believe, in which we woulg go from a really good spot to a terrible one. And then, eventually we were back up toward the top. No worries fellow Hogwartians!

*phew!* And here I was getting worried. I think we can make it back up. Go Hogmartians! ((haha...I love that name. Alex and Mack-you guys are genius!!))

Yup, Kennedy's absolutely right. Sometimes, it can get reset and we just get stuck in a bad position and never seem to go up a great number of positions. But other times when it gets reset, we can get in there early and snag one of the top positions, which we tend to keep. So sometimes it works in our favour, sometimes it doesn't. At any rate, we all know in our hearts that we're the best!
