Harmony - Opinion Time

Well, Harmony's been here with me since I first joined, two years ago this January, and most of you know her character to some extent. I've been through two avatar changes with her. I hate changing avatars, but it's been hard with my asian characters, because it was hard to find icons for them at the beginning. I'm really settled with Ariane and Aurora now, absolutely definitely, but I'm still not sure for Harmony. I thought the person I have for her now, Niigaki Risa, was the only one I could find who suited her, but recently I noticed Horikita Maki is fantastic too (actually, Ryoko used her for a while, but I didn't recognise her, lol), and she's much more suitable for Harmony for when she's older.

I don't want to make the decision really because I'm not sure, which is why I want to ask your opinion. You tell me who you think suits Harmony more - now and in the future when she's older. She has changed a bit in personality; she's cheekier, bolder, less shy and afraid. Though, if I have to be completely honest with myself, once her plot is truly over and done with she will be dropped. But temporarily, like Zara, because I hate permanently dropping anyone. It's like they've died, and they haven't!

Maybe it's just because you have been using her but I am still partial to Niigaki Risa...

But I know what you mean about the asian characters - it's always been hard for me to find avatars for Adalia. I was so thrilled when I found Han Ga In that even though Adalia was only 12 I still saved all the avatars I could find for when she was older lol. Even still I only have 30, far less than I usually have for my characters. However, it's better than the first year Adalia who only ever had 2 pictures...

I think Adalia is brilliant. She's got an edge to her that's totally Adalia and screams Slytherin, even though she's so pretty and sweet-looking, lol. I love that picture you used to use - the one with her turning around, a finger to her lips, the hair curling around the finger? I love that picture, absolutely love it.

I definitely like the first better.

Not sure whether it's because I'm used to her more, but I definitely think Niigaki Risa is the better choice. She definitely fits Harmony's character much more.

Anyone else have an opinion? Otherwise I'm sticking with Risa, it seems. Thanks to Ezzie too for input.

I'd stick with the one that you're using now. I love the pic that you're using for Harmony at the moment, it's lovely. The other ones are nice and she actually looks more like Ariane, certainly in this picture:



But I think Niigaki Risa is okay for that too, and she is less self-conscious. Ie. she comes across as less vain! I don't think that your pictures for Harmony should look vain... there's a difference between that and cheeky. This pic of Harmony works for cheeky:
