Banner Competition

Note: Below are the five banner choices. Each banner shows the original banner first and then the modified banner second which indicates the House Cup and Quidditch Cup winners for the year. You will notice slight alterations between each banner such as highlighted text or different colours which are meant to show which houses won each cup. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Remember, you can only vote once no matter how many characters or accounts you have. We can check who has voted, so if you cast more than one vote through different accounts, we will catch you. Your votes will be nullified if this is the case. Also, do not vote for your own banner if you are one of the people participating in this competition. The vote will close on 10 February, so have your votes cast before then! The winning banner will be announced on 14 February. Good luck everyone!

Just bumping this to remind everyone to vote if you haven't! The voting ends in approx. 1 week from today. Hopefully with the unveiling of our new banner, we'll have some other new site changes to make as well (I know one particular staffie who has been working extra hard to make our sites as trendy and visually pleasing as possible! ).

Please, everyone do vote. Every member's opinion counts and it'd be nice to have a proper consensus. The winning banner will, remember, be what you will be seeing each time you come on Four Houses! ;D

How exciting a new banner! Not that the old one isn't great - because it is, and I'm very fond of it - but a change would be nice. ^^

We have a winner by a landslide! Congrats to Astrid (Oscar) for a great banner! When the new site design is finalized, Astrid's banner will be the new welcoming sign as all members enter our site. Ironically enough, Astrid has been working diligently to create a new site look for us, so we'll be revealing all of this as soon as possible.

As well, a round of applause for the rest of the members who submitted banners. Banner 1 was submitted by Mandi (Ruby). Banner 2 was submitted by Justin (Jack). Banner 3 was submitted by Robert. Banner 4 was submitted by Astrid. Banner 5 was submitted by me! With that said, you will also see some of these other banners around, as we'd like to put them to good use. They simply won't be our main banner on the main home page.
