I know many people are doing exams this month, or at least a few? I myself am. :3 If there's already a thread on this then ignore me paha, but I just thought it would be nice to have a place to rant about the exam you've just sat, or perhaps post your worries about lack of revision or otherwise.
A few things -
Exam you're worrying about most?: Exam you're looking forward to?: Exam you think will be easiest?:
And err, others you can think of. x3
Mine? Oh, I'm doing GCSE's by the way. (: Not sure if everyone knows what they are if you're not from around here.
Worried about - History. |; Ahh. I haven't really... listened much in the last couple of months since I've switched up a set. In our mock we only covered the sections and papers for Britain, not USA, whereas this true exam is for USA as well. Uhoh. Hoping for a high B at least, hm.
Looking forward to - English sections B; the writing to persuade/describe/explain/argue etc sections. (: Best bits. I do enjoy the poetry and Lord of the Flies/other novel papers, but the original writing is where I catch the most marks. Umm... hoping for A* but will probably fall into an A, which is irritating. n.n My coursework folder is a few marks from the star; if my exams are below it will be an overall A, which I don't want.
Easiest - errr let's say Drama? Comes easily as I'm capable of talking a lot about most things in a rambling yet safely analytical sense... if that alone makes sense. x3 But yes, probably drama - or BCS aha.
Hopefully people use this thread?
And a huuuuuge good luck to everyone who shall be sitting exams this month!
Upcoming for me; tomorrow is German listening, Tuesday is BCS practical, then I have a beautiful week off. (:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
T_T I'm absolutely terrified! *splutters and trips*
Astrid, good thinking! I like this thread muchly. ^^;;
Well, I have what we call 'A levels' in England, and they're my final year of exams in high school; after this, IF I get the required grades from these exams, I will be going to university. I need three As in all three of my subjects (English Literature, History and Psychology) is I want to gfo to my university of choice, York.
I basically don't think I will be able to get three As easily, and am therefore terrified. Because if I don't I would be devastated... as would my parents. ><
I also haven't started revision... -_-;; Which I should've ages and ages ago. I'm awful at revision...
Anyway, my first exam is on 4th June - two General Studies papers, which will be a doss so that's fine. Then I have several exams on 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 15th. Then I'll be finished! :D
After that I'd just have to await my fate...
So yes, in answer to Astrid:
Exam you're worrying about most?: I'm worried about screwing up in all three of my English exams really because they matter the most.
Exam you're looking forward to?: History, European paper on France and Russia. Should be straightforward.
Exam you think will be easiest?: Ditto.
But uh, I have an exam on 20th May, a re-sit of English from last year, and I think I may be the only person doing it, which is rather terrifying to say the least! Dx AAAAH!
Myself aside, I want to reiterate what Astrid has already said - good luck to everyone who has exams - to my fellow A-levellers, Izy and Kat; to Kia, who's doing her AS levels; and to Astrid, who's doing GCSEs. GOOD LUCK!!!

I like this thread too!
My exams start on the 1st of June (Maths C4 ('Pure'), which is rather hard) and go on until 22nd June (Chemistry Advanced Extension, which is evil chemistry for those who can do normal chemistry).
Like Viv, I too am doing A levels and have to get 3 A's to get onto the course I've got an offer from (Cambridge Natural Sciences), which are specified in Biology, Chemistry and Maths (I also do Latin and we're all forced to do General Studies...). I also haven't started revision! We have been given a lot of mocks so I've been somewhat obliged to revise for... some... of those, and a lot of homework that forces us to revise. Worryingly, my marks are currently going down in most subjects save for Latin, which is the one that won't get me into uni! But I'm not really too bothered about it - can't expect too much without revising so really it's not too bad.
So...
Exam you're worrying about most?: The singular 'exam' here is inappropriate. I'm worried about plenty of them! The Chemistry Advanced Extension is a bit scary, but doesn't actually matter I guess. I suppose I'm rather daunted by Maths C4. And a bit nervous about my chemistry in general because I have less marks for that subject so far than for Maths and Biology (due to having done some exams for Maths and Bio in January).
Exam you're looking forward to?: Perhaps the Chemistry Advanced Extension, in a weird way? It's um... challenging. Or the Ovid part of my Latin Unseen Translation paper, because we get to scan some of the hexameter, which is fun.
Exam you think will be easiest?: Erm... the French part of the Unit 4 General Studies paper.
Good luck everyone!

AHhhhhh Exammmmmmmmms Yeah. I'm not tooooo worried in general. But I should be more worried. Yes, I can get away with not doing too well, but I want to get high marks really, and...it's just not happening really! Like Izy and Viv, I'm doing my A2 exams (plus an AS resit, eh, and an AS in Further Maths. Yes, further maths. Seemed like a good idea at the time!). I'm doing Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and although I wasn't as lucky as Izy and didn't get an offer from Cambridge (they chose the right person out of us ) for the same course, I'm very VERY happy with my offer from Durham, for Natural Sciences. And they were nice to me, so unlike my 2 friends here I don't need to get AAA...dunno what they were thinking, but not complaining Anyways, my first exam is one of my Further Maths ones a week on Friday, and my last are 2 of the Chemistry ones, on June 18th. That's excluding my guitar exam and driving theory that I also have next week, meep! As for the questions... Exam you're worrying about most?: Probably Chemistry 5/6. Or Mechanics 2. Probably the former, as M2 doesn't count for anything (as it's a Further Maths one which isn't part of my offer...unless something happens which means it's part of my maths rather than FM, but not going into that ). Chemistry is just harrrd. I'm also dreading the second part of Biology 6, having gotten my mock mark back today, which was, umm, less than encouraging! Exam you're looking forward to?: Statistics 2! It's just simple maths. I have a feeling I'll make loads of stupid errors, but still. I love it . Exam you think will be easiest?: Probably S2. Or my Chemistry resit. How I lost so many marks last time is beyond me! Anyway, I just wanna say a big GOOD LUCK to everyone doing exams, whether they be A-Levels/ASs, GCSEs, University finals or whatever other exams you may be doing!

Good luck to everyone. And don't worry, we all make it out alive, even though sometimes it feels like you won't!

lol Long time no see, I know....lol
But I too have been preparing for exams, that's why my activity has been really bad lately. Mine start friday actually, which is a really weird start date, but it goes from friday all the way until tuesday. So, I've been hitting the books and busy with school work, thanks in large part to my professors for bombarding us with projects last minute.
Exam you're worrying about most?: Math definitely. It's just not my subject, so I've been cramming for that.
Exam you're looking forward to?: Color Theory. Color Theory is an art class where they teach you about colors (lol) their meanings, derivings, how to mix colors to get interesting ones, how color can help convey.....I know it sounds boring or lame, but if you are an artist, it's wonderful. It teaches you how to coordinate and how to use color to give your work extra meaning or emphasis. You learn really great info that really changes the way you look at art and color and how you go about doing your own pieces. I'm doing a painting, and I am so proud of it lol. Can't wait to present!
Exam you think will be easiest?: Definitely my Rhetoric, aka Speech Training Class. I have to give a final speech, and I am proud of the progress that I have made here. I am so much more confident in getting up in front of people for an extended period of time, and I have learned how to feel and look confident, speak clearly, make eye contact....really great class and awesome training.
But I miss this site and can not wait until I get home for the summer when I will actually have a lot more time on my hands. I owe so many people posts, and there are so many things I wanted to do but couldn't because of time management and putting the site on the back burner to make sure I keep up with other things, but I can't wait to come back, and make certain things happen, and certain things better.
I miss you guys ;D! And Ashley I have to catch you on MSN! lol I haven't talked to you in the longest........

Eeep! Exams >.<;; Exam you're worrying about most?: Algebra >.<;; I suck at it, and I'm taking it now 2 years early... Ugh! And I've been failing the past couple of tests: The most important ones... Exam you're looking forward to?:Definitely Physical Education. (Yes, there's an exam for that here at my school. It's when you have to do say, 20 push ups in a certain time limit and stuff like that, then you have to show that you know all the rules in a sport we studied, e.g; Baseball, ect.) I am in a good physical condition, excluding my back (Darn scoliosis! But it's good thing for one reason: I can't do sit-ups because it stresses my back and can make my spine curve more than it does now.) Exam you think will be easiest?: It has to be Geography. I am really good at it, and I've gotten 100s in the class for the whole year xD;;
