Oii, what's this about India and D? D: I may not be a Slyth fan but I do play two of 'em, and although India is not at all house-conscious, she has her pride! As for D, she wants Slytherin to be the best and she believes they are the best, but frankly, her own personal gain is more important than house gain, and she doesn't have the same prejudices as Slytherin on the inside either because who cares about house when there's a handsome man? xD;;
So no, not all Slytherins are evil - India certainly isn't! She's just misunderstood - but a lot of them are. *cough* Ruby *cough* Wynd. xD

Oh, darlings. *casual sigh* You don't know anything, do you? All these little Slytherins signing up because they see us and there's only one thought going through their little heads - Iwant to be him. Face the facts, kids. While you're trailing after us this year we'll be gone soon into the real world - and can you really face that?
And oh India, sweetie. You aren't misunderstood doll, and if you are it's only you that misunderstands yourself. (; We all see you quite clearly.
~
Eeeeee. I don't know. Slytherin is just incredibly fun to play. At heart... I don't know what I am. I'd like to say Gryffindor? I'm a lot like Oscar, just without the whole gay-and-male malarky. Slytherin characters are probably the easiest to play because you can always fall back on the stereotypical Slytherin responses and still look awesome, while Gryffies/Ravens/Huffers need to be more original IC to be unique characters...
not sure if all that makes sense.
But yeah. *hugs Cy* You gotta love him. He... is he evil? I don't know. xD He does what he wants, and though he doesn't care if that is 'evil', it normally often is. :3

Wow, I never thought this topic would take off like this.
Anywhoo, who said anything about D, Viv? I certainly did mention India, but that was before she was posting with Vince...well we'll see how it turns out, could end horribly. Yeah Cyrus, I see where you're coming from, but really, why would the kids want to be like you. After all, weren't you the one who got totally pwned by that one guy?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ah, this has turned into quite a fun bit of debate. As I stated above, I never expected everyone to react to it in such an aweome manner.
Slytherin's easy to play? Oh now Astrid I have to disagree with you on that. Slytherins can be extremely difficult to play and there are some people that just can't do it. You have to have the right bones for it and you need the cruelity that stems from the bottom of your feet and burns through your body. Slytherins are not easy to play...not at all. Unless of course you're me. *smirks slyly*
(Just pretend I'm on Cyrus, alright? (; )
Oh pshh, we, my dear Ruby, are exempt from my comment.
I mean a Slytherin without an in-depth history/character, is easier to role-play than a character with the same lack of extra oomph from the other houses, if your character can fall back on stereotypical Slytherin responses. This is generally more successful than a charrie from another house falling back on what might be their 'stereotyped response' because it's more difficult to put across than a simple harsh, cutting reply.
Of course you could say the same for a mean Ravenclaw, but that begins to spread the character further and takes them away from what he or she initially was.
I don't think I'm explaining myself all that well, but perhaps you understand my meaning? (;
I getcha both. xD Slytherins can be both easy and difficult. I find Slytherins most difficult to play because I am nothing like them, which is Mandi's point, but I find India comes the easiest to me, and I don't have to stress too much ab out D because she's got such an unoriginal, typical personality ( ), which is Astrid's point. And D doesn't care whether or not she was mentioned. She was in her own head and she needs the attention. Can't mention India without D... even though they're completely different. I agree with Astrid (and likely Mandi as well, haha) that Slytherins are definitely the most fun to play. Astrid - India sends Cyrus her harshest of glares. xD
My goodness...
There were two other 4th year Slytherins when I joined.
Now there's eight!
And that was me, stating the obvious xD
It's terrible! Except that it is a good thing in that you (and the other 4th year Slythies) have plenty of people to post with so that there's scope for your charrie to make both friends and enemies within your house. I'd say you've got it rather good.
*shrugs* Slytherins need to stick together...all this hatred against us...it's rather disappointing, but you can't expect too much from mudbloods and blood traitors now can you?
Ten points from Slytherin for bad language and detention. You ought to watch yourself when there are halfblood Hufflepuff Prefects who think they're Muggleborn around. (Besides, I was being nice!)
*holds up at hands in defence*
Not my intention to insult. You can't blame me for using those terms when I was raised to belief they were the only way to describe folk like yourself. How am I to blame?
