I was recently introduced to the amazingness of Carrie Underwood. Both her albums are fabulous for anyone who's never heard her. So here are some my favourites that she's released:
Just A Dream
So Small
Jesus, Take The Wheel

I don't know how many people appreciate piano music, but I think most people can appreciate Ludovico Einaudi's compositions, because they don't require you to have a sound knowledge of music or sound. They're contemporary classical pieces and are the best type of songs for listening to when in a melancholy, peaceful, or even sleepy mood. It puts a smile on my face. His most famous piece is the first, I Giorni, and the next two are also wonderful. My brother loves playing it and I love listening to him. :)

Just watched this movie on youtube called 'Keith', starring Jesse McCartney and Elisabeth Harnois, and surprisingly, it was real good. I don't know; maybe it's just my opinion of a movie, 'cause I'm sure other people may beg to differ, but... it really was very good. It's put me in a sombre mood, and it almost broke my heart, and yet it didn't - somehow it's still very feel-good. The acting's good, the plot's good and overall, I would recommend people watch it. Perhaps it's more a girls' film than a guys' film, but... *shrug* (: I just thought I'd make a note here of the film and recommend it to you guys.

OH! I saw where you mentioned Carrie Underwood earlier! I met her and Taylor Swift about two months ago. I work in the posh area of Nashville, and they were leaving the restaurant I was going into. Very nice women. They even stopped and talked with me and my friends a few moments. Even took a picture with us. Oh! I need to get it from Lindsay and post it here.

Gladlike, Rosaliz! I'll see what I can do. *goes to look*
But for now, Evanescence; one of my favourite bands of all time. I love most of their music; not so much as I used to, but I still love it nonetheless.
This is one of their unknown songs, but it's beautiful:
You by Evanescence
Okies, Rosaliz, here we go - some Japanese piano music; it's a bit different to Ludovico, hope you like it:
Summer by Joe Hisaishi
The beautiful piano version of a Chinese song that I love:
Ling [Zero] by Alan Ko (piano)

Some more piano musiu, Rosaliz. It's really beautiful, this one, by a Japanese artist methinks. My brother's started learning it, as per a request from a friend. :) Enjoy.
EDIT: I lie. He's Korean. ^^;;
Kiss The Rain by Yiruma
EDIT: Found some more. The first is apparently meant to have been in the Twilight film as Bella's theme tune or something.

One of the other artists I became obsessed with when I started to like Alexz Johnson (might post that up someday for those who haven't heard her music... just brilliant) is Michelle Branch. I love her album, The Spirit Room. It's probably one of the only albums I know back to front; nearly all the songs are fabulous and it makes me feel nostalgic 'cause I took his CD with me on holiday, lol. I really did love her back then. So anyway, here are some of my favourites. :) EverywhereAll You WantedSet Me FreeHere With MeI'd Rather Be In LoveGoodbye To You

Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton were my two absolute favourite musical artists. It killed me when Michelle Branch joined up with Jessica Harp and formed "The Wreckers." It was like Michelle's voice was completely lost in the sound that Jessica and their managers wanted. :\ I did enjoy her Hotel Paper album, though, a lot more than her Spirit Room album. Vanessa Carlton, on the other hand, has completely turned my world upside down. From Be Not Nobody, to Harmonium, to Heroes and Thieves her sound has completely changed throughout the years.

My new favorite song... Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory Do you dream , that the world will know your name? So tell me your name. (Tell me your name.) Do you care, about all the little things or anything at all? (Anything at all.) I wanna feel, all the chemicals inside I wanna feel. (I wanna feel.) I wanna sunburn, just to know that I'm alive... To know I'm alive. (To know I'm alive.)
Don't tell me if I'm dying, cause I don't wanna know. If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go. Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming, of angels on the moon. Where everyone you know, never leaves too soon.
Do you believe, in the day that you were born? Tell me do you believe. (Do you believe.) Do you know, that every day's the first of the rest of your life.
Don't tell me if I'm dying, cause I don't wanna know. If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go. Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming, of angels on the moon. Where everyone you know, never leaves too soon.
This is to one last day in the shadows. And to know a brother's love. This is to New York City angels. And the rivers of our blood. This is to all of us, to all of us.
So don't tell me if I'm dying, cause I don't wanna know. If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go. Don't wake me cuz I'm dreaming, of angels on the moon. Where everyone you know, never leaves too soon.
Yeah, you can tell me all your thoughts, about the stars that fill polluted skies. And show me where you run to, when no one's left to take your side. But don't tell me where the road ends, cause I just don't wanna know, No I don't wanna know, no.
Don't tell me if I'm dying. Don't tell me if I'm dying.

Well I'm really into the new The Fray CD. Particularly this track, Say When. I'm sure Adam's heard it, I don't know about the rest of you. I'll include the lyrics as well.
I see you there, don't know where you come from Unaware but you're still from someone Don't Appear to care that I saw you and I want you What's your name? Cause I have to know it You let me in and begin to show it I'm terrified cause you're headed straight for it Might Get it Hear the song playin on background All alone but you're turnin up now And everyone is risin to meet ya, to greet you Turn around and you're walking toward me I'm breakin' down and you're breathing slowly Say the word and I will be your man, your man "Say when"
Chorus And my own two hands will comfort you tonight, tonight Say when And my own two arms will carry you tonight, tonight
Come close and then even closer We bring it in but we go no further We're separate two ghosts in one mirror, no mearer Later on if it turns to chaos Hurricane comin all around us See the crack, pull it back from the window You stay low Say when
Chorus And my own two hands will comfort you tonight, tonight Say when And my own two arms will carry you tonight, tonight
Come across you're lost and broken You're coming to, but you're slow and waking You Start to shake, you still haven't spoken, what happened They're comin back and you just don't know it and you wanna cry but there's nothing coming They're gonna push until you give in Say when
Now we're here and it turns to chaos, Hurricane coming all around us They're gonna crack, don't you back from the window You stay low It all began with the man and country Every plan turns another century around again And another nation fallen
Maybe god can be on both sides of the gun Never gone, understood why Some of us never get it so good, so good Some are less fortunate than us All the less we'll go after us Never stops until we give in, give in, give in Say when
Chorus And my own two hands will comfort you tonight, tonight Say when And my own two arms will carry you tonight, tonight Say when
And my own two hands will comfort you tonight, tonight

I read above the Carrie Underwood stuff, and aside of her amazing music, she is totally hot. On another note however, have any of you ever heard of Gackt? Japanese/English music singer, it's a pretty good mix. My favorite song by Gackt is Redemption, and if you've ever played/beaten FF VII Dirge of Cerberus, then you know the song, however for others, enjoy. For those who don't know, the good guy in the video is Cloud, the blonde, spiky haired one. I also added a song by The Rise Against: The Good Left Undone, one song by Disturbed: Inside the Fire, and three songs by Three Days Grace: Time of Dying, Never Too Late, and Animal I Have Become. All have FF VII Themes, but that's because FF VII is my favorite FF game.

I had no idea this voice was Gackt's! Because I swear I've heard his music before!
I have heard of Gackt before. He's such a famous name and yet I know nothing about him. xD;;
I've only listened to the first two so far, Justin, but I love them. I've always loved Japanese music... especially Japanese anime music and Japanese rock. If this can be classified as 'rock'. The genres of music confuse me. xD;;

Awesome, and yes, I think most of his music is considered j-rock. He has a new album out that I want to get. If you're interested I can get some more songs by him put on here. On a side note, did anyone know that the Rise Against are all vegetarians, lucky break that they all have that in common, eh?

I do love I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, but this video is brilliant too. I saw it years ago, but I just stumbled upon it yesterday night, and thought I'd share. :) It'll put a smile on your face, hopefully. Just some brilliant cinematography.
