If you'll be going away for a while or won't be able to get on the site, post who and why and when up here to let us know! Please try to be as precise as possible as to when you'll return - don't be vague, we want at least an estimate, even if you can't be precise! If you do not provide us with a date (whether it be official or an estimate) your post will be considered invalid, and you will be subject to having all of your characters deleted if you miss a census. At that point, you will have to go through the same process that everyone else goes through when they miss a census (starting with one character and having to reapply for each additional character all over again.) Basically, just give us a date, please! If you plan to be away for a period of time greater than 6 months, please understand that we will be taking your characters off of the active lists simply because we would like our lists to be updated, and that is quite a long time to be away. Also, you will have to reapply for your characters when you return, so please save your biographies if you plan to leave for a period of time that is longer than 6 months.
Once you return, remember to delete your vacation post. If you can't return as soon as you said you could - update your vacation post! We'll leave it up for a MONTH only after the date you've said you're returning - after this it'll be deleted. If there's a census while you're away which you can't sign, your characters won't be deleted while you're on the vacation list, but they will be subject to deletion if you're no longer on the vacation list. So do remember to update!
