((I presumed that Ethan was coming too from what was said in treeview))
Finally Sep was going to meet Elena who'd taken Sep in when she'd been alone on the streets still trying to cope with her mother's death. Sep had thought that the woman's husband had killed Elena but apparently not. Yesterday, Sep had met the Elena's real daughter who had said that she'd already briefly met Elena and could say that she was still alive. Sep was dying to meet Elena again, to be held by her and to hear someone say that they loved her. What a far ago occurrence. It hadn't happened for ages, Sep bitterly reflected. Sep yearned for her real mother. It was her everlasting wish, but it would never again come again. Never.
What a bitter thought that would forever remain. But Sep wasn't going to think of Ramione today. Ramione. How much that hurt. Sep whispered it and the wind seemed to whisper it back to her. "Ramione." Her mother's name. Sep wasn't even going to think of her sisters at all. No she was going to meet her second mother who was still alive.
Sep walked into Madame Rosmerta's and noticed with disappointment that Elena wasn't there yet. Ah well. She took a seat by the back window then thought the better of it and strode over to Madame Rosmerta herself. "I need a place in the back room," Sep said in an undertone. Rosmerta nodded and led her through, promising to tell Ezzie, Ethan and Elena where she was. Sep settled herself in the dimly lit room. She was wearing her preferred clothes, a denim jacket with a white shirt underneath. She leaned back in her chair and settled in to wait for the others, inwardly bubbling with excitement.

((Ethan will be present, but I won't be posting him. I'll just be g-moding Ethan on Ezzie's account.))
Ezzie searched through her drawers for something to wear. She was going off to see her mother again, and she wanted to look her best. And then of course Ezzie was obviously going to be seeing Ethan, so of course she had to look her best. Ezzie smiled. She removed the perfect outfit from her trunk and placed it neatly on her bed. She then looked through her trunk again and found her small wooden jewelry box. She checked herself out in the mirror. Ezzie was wearing a white long sleeved shirt with a small fur jacket that only fell down below her breasts. She was wearing her denim jeans as usual with sleek black boots. She loved dressing in her muggle clothes. She had so much more to choose from then just a black robe with a tie underneath. Ezzie put on a small diamond necklace and silver hoops that were also lined with small diamonds. Ezzie remembered walking through the hotel hauling around a cart full of cleaning products and staring in envy at girls who dressed like Ezzie was now. She picked out some feminine black gloves and started doing her make-up. She was wearing black liner, shimmery silver eye shadow that was only barely visible and pinkish lip-gloss. She didn’t bother with blush, as her cheeks would be rosy enough with Ethan by her side. She put her gloves on and walked into the common room. She glanced at the clock. It well past noon, and yet Ethan was probably still sleeping. She rolled her eyes as she walked up to the boy’s dormitories. She was used to going up there to wake Ethan by now that when she entered, his roommates greeted her with a smile and a wave. One gestured to Ethan, who was fast asleep on his bed in nothing but his boxer shorts. That is so typical Ethan Ezzie thought, but couldn’t help but stare for a moment before she shook him awake.
“Ethan, wake up. We’re going to Hogsmeade today, remember?” She said as she shook his warm body. He raised his head and smiled. “Right. I’ll be right there. You look really pretty today by the way.” Ezzie smiled and was suddenly glad it was so dark in the room, because she was blushing. “I’ll leave you to change then.” She said as she walked out of the dorm, waving goodbye to all his dorm mates. She waited in the common room, and about five minutes later, Ethan stumbled out of his dorm and into the common room as well. He was wearing his favorite band t-shirt and his famous ripped jeans with the leather jacket that Ezzie had worn multiple times. She was sure Amber had worn the jacket as well. She tried not to roll her eyes at the mere thought of Amber Hess.
“Good morning sleeping beauty. Are you ready to go?” She joked. “Yeah yeah. Let’s get out of here. That girl is coming right?” Ethan said, reffering to Septimus Uldor, Ezzie’s unofficial sister. “Don’t you mean Septimus Uldor, Gryffindor first year who is now your little sister for the BBBS program? She has a name you know.” She said with an eyebrow raised. “Yeah, her.” Ezzie rolled her eyes. “Yeah, she’s meeting us at the Three Broomsticks. C’mon. We’re already late.” Ezzie said as she pulled Ethan down the corridor and into the closest Hogsmeade carriage.
As the carriage bumped along the road to Hogsmeade, Ezzie couldn’t help but think back to the many times when Ethan sat with her in this very carriage (Ezzie had always reserved the same carriage) so many times before. She sighed as she let the memories flow through and out of Ezzie’s mind. She didn’t even want to think about it. Ezzie was glad when the carriage skidded to a halt in front of the three Broomsticks. “Hey Madame!” Ezzie said to Rosmerta fondly as she hugged her. “Oh please, Ezzie! Call me Rosmerta. Your friend is in the back room, and your mother and Mrs. Jacobs sent an owl saying they were going to be late.” Ezzie smiled and thanked Rosmerta as she walked into the back room with Ethan. Septimus was already waiting. “Hey, Mami just sent an owl saying she’d be a bit late.” Ezzie took a seat next to Ethan. “This is Ethan Jacobs, a good friend of mine. I believe he’s your Big Brother for BBBS.” She said kindly.

Sep started tapping her fingers on the table impatiently, when were they going too arrive? Of course Sep was now curious as to Ethan Jacobs since he was now her big brother according to the BBBS program that had just started. It would be interesting to meet him now since they were also going to see each other tomorrow. Perhaps they'd develop a relationship now and then they'd know each other for the rest of it. Sep wondered what he was like. Ezzie had mentioned they were friends so he couldn't be a complete little devil. Not outrageously anyway considering what Ezzie was like. She was a happy little thing, not one to hang out with monsters. But then Sep didn't really know her so who knew? Anything could be true.
Sep started tapping again but then they came in. Ezzie was looking nice but unfortunately she reminded Sep too much of the rich girls in the streets when Sep had been with her real family. They'd pranced around, taking everything for granted but never taking a second look at the beggars. Sep looked away from Ezzie and looked instead at Ethan. He had black hair that had a messy look. He also had bright blue eyes and several lip piercings on his lip. Sep wondered if they were real knowing the magical world. He was good looking, that was for sure.
Then Ezzie introduced him and Sep nodded, turning to look at her and ignoring the memories it brought up. "Yep, he's now my "brother". We were going to meet tomorrow and I think we still will. Well, take a seat. Elena should be here soon."

((I know I said I wasn't going to post Ethan here, but I had an outburst of inspiration from him.))
“Jessie! Wait for me! Please come back!” cried little Ethan Jacobs as he ran after his older sister. No matter how fast Ethan’s little legs carried him, he still couldn’t catch up to Jessie, who was floating further away with each step the six year old took. Jessie smiled as her blond hair whipped in the wind. The two were on one of the crowded streets of London, where people were walking past and going about their business as if nothing was going on. The sun was shining bright over the area and there was not a cloud in the sky. People seemed to be in a pretty good mood. Some were whistling as they carried briefcases to work, and some were smiling as they walked with their families to see the sights of London. No one seemed to notice the floating heiress that was drifting away from her younger brother. Young Ethan started to wail.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning echoed throughout the street. In seconds, the cheerful people had vanished. The bright blue sky had darkened into a dark gloomy gray. In another second, little Ethan was soaked by cold rain. The little boy noticed a strange man appear from behind his big sister with a sharp, glimmering knife. Ethan screamed. He knew what was going to happen next. “JESSIE!” The little boy wailed. Jessie giggled. “I love you, little brother.” She said with a smile. “JESSIE WATCH OUT! LOOK BEHIND YOU!” Little Ethan managed to say through his tears. But it was too late. The man had grabbed Jessie from behind, gave little Ethan an evil grin, and vanished into thin air. Suddenly, an oddly familiar voice echoed loud throughout the deserted street.
“Ethan…”said Ezzie, as if she was narrating the story of Ethan’s life. “Ethan, wake up. We’re going to Hogsmeade today, remember?” Suddenly, Ethan was pulled out of his dream and he lifted his head from the warm soft pillow in the Gryffindor boy’s dorms. He smiled as he noticed Ezzie was dressed her best. Even in the dimly lighted room, Ethan could tell she had worked hard to achieve such beauty. He complimented her and promised he’d be down in a moment. He sat up on his bed and stretched, letting out a loud yawn. He put on some clothes and about a half hour later, Ethan was back in the Three Broomsticks, waiting for both his and Ezzie’s mother. He noticed that little girl was there, the one that was going to be his “little sister” for the BBBS program. Carson had talked Ethan into joining, so he wasn’t so thrilled about it. However, he had made a promise to himself. He was going to have a real little brother or sister on the way sometime soon, and he wanted to be just as good a big brother as Jessie used to be a big sister. The only way Ethan was sure he’d be a good brother is if he got some practice here. He smiled at the little girl, whose name was Septimus. He was wearing his two small lip piercings under his bottom lip, which he was sure scared the little girl quite a bit. He sat down next to Ezzie and gave Septimus a wave. He was going to meet her the next day formally so they could get to know one another before the first BBBS gathering. Ethan noticed Ezzie jump a bit as she noticed the door to the private room in the Three Broomsticks swing open. Ethan smiled.
“Hey, mum.” He said as his mother entered the room. She gave him a large hug. Ethan looked down at her stomach. “Wow mum, you’re getting big. Do they know if it’s going to be a boy or a girl yet?” He asked as he noticed a sure to be heartwarming family reunion happening in the far corner of the room. The three were already flapping their lips about in Spanish. “Oh yes. With the magic St. Mungo’s has these days, they knew from the moment I got there. I asked them not to tell me yet though. I want it to be a surprise.” She said with a smile. Ethan smiled too. He was excited to have a little brother or sister. He really was scared though. He wanted to be the best older sibling in the world, just like Jessie was. He needed to do great. Just for Jessie. “Jessie would be so happy for you, mum.” He said as he hugged his mother again. “I bet she’d be looking through baby books for a name the second you told her. Jess always loved kids, don’t you remember?” He said as Amanda Jacobs took a seat across from Ethan. She gave Ethan a warm smile and held his hand lovingly. “Oh yes. Jessie is probably smiling down on us right now, playing with the wonderful little baby in heaven that will soon come down to our world.” She said, looking up at the ceiling with a smile, as if expecting Jessie to answer her with her famous Jessie Jacobs giggle.

((I presume u meant that Elena came and Ezzie, Sep and here were in the corner chatting? Oh and for Ethan coming thats fine))
Ethan smiled at Ezzie who grinned back. She might as well give this brother/sister thing a good try. She'd try to be the best little sister she could. His lip piercings didn't bother her at all, she was sort of used to it. She was going to try not to have that little voice inside her say things about how rich he was, about how he probably understood nothing at all. She'd try to be polite and a good little sister. He didn't seem like the goody goody type which meant they'd have some fun.
Then Elena came in and Sep forgot all about Ethan. It was like a dream, Elena sliding in and Sep leaning out twards her with a greeting. Everything seemed to be in slow motion, moving with ghostly movments. Then Elena spoke to her in Spanish and suddenly everything became normal. "Marisol?" She asked. "Yes," Sep whispered all in a daze. She barely noticed Ethan's mum coming in, her eyes were too fixed on Elena. But then she realised Ezzie would probably want some time too so she stepped aside a little, suddenly noticing she'd stood up. She desperately wanted some private time with her second mother though. But so did Ezzie most probably.

((Just a little note: I thought we agreed on the name being Marisol, not Marigold. But if you want to change it, that’s fine too. Just let me know which one you want to use. But Marigold wouldn’t make much sense, as it’s not a name that’s typically used in Hispanic cultures.))
Ezzie smiled as she hugged her mother. She looked very thin and a bit weak, but she looked much healthier than she did last time Ezzie saw her. The dark circles under her eyes had disappeared and she did not look as tired as she did before. She was also wearing make-up; something Ezzie had never seen her wear, even when she was happily married in Cuba. Elena had always said that all makeup did was conceal one’s true beauty. Ezzie remembered asking her mother for lipstick for Christmas one year while they were traveling around Europe. She had probably only said this because she truthfully could not afford the makeup.
Now that her very complicated family was re-united, Ezzie promised she would do everything in her power to make sure her mother lived the best life possible. She wanted the best for Septimus as well. Septimus had grown up just as poor as Ezzie had, but hadn’t been lucky enough to find something she was truly that good at to earn the money she needed to survive. Maybe once Ezzie’s first album came out, she would be able to buy a nice house for their family. Maybe if Elena wanted, Ezzie could even find her a job. Yes, that would be a good idea. She smiled and glanced at Septimus to see her facial expression. Ezzie smiled a bit at the pair and backed away to give Septimus and Elena some time alone together. Amanda and Ethan had given her that right the week before, so Septimus deserved that right now. She walked over to Ethan and Amanda who were talking quietly in the other corner of the room.
“Hey guys. How have you been lately, Mrs. Jacobs?” She said with a smile. Her belly was already getting rather large. The baby was due around Christmas, so she was already well into her pregnancy. “Did the doctors tell you if the baby was going to be a girl or a boy yet?” She asked kindly, but before Mrs. Jacobs could answer, the door to the Three Broomsticks had swung open once more. The next few guests that entered were not welcome. Cameras flashed, questions were fired, and quick quotes quills were floating everywhere. Ezzie groaned. Mrs. Jacobs stepped forward and raised her wand. She created a strong invisible field between themselves and the media crew.
“Amanda! Who are you traveling with today?” Said one reporter in the front. “Why is this little girl with you? Is that her mother? What relation do they have to you?” Asked another. Amanda Jacobs gave the crowd a stern look. “My response is NO COMMENT for all of your questions. I want you all to leave this instant before I call my lawyers to remove you themselves. This is a private gathering and you were not invited.” She said, lecturing the reporters as if they were children. All of a sudden, Madame Rosmerta shoved through the crowd, apologized to Mrs. Jacobs and ushered the crowd of reporters out of the room. The door closed and Mrs. Jacobs locked it with her wand. “Well now that that’s taken care of, let’s get down to business. We are not only here to welcome Septimus back into our very complicated family, but we are here to discuss matters of Ezzie’s and Septimus’s custody. Alex and I adopted Ezzie this past summer, but Elena, since you’re here, I guess you’ll be wanting your daughter back. However, you are all welcome to stay in my home for as long as you wish. Mi casa, su casa.” She said brightly. Ezzie took the liberty of translating for her mother, for she looked very confused.
Translations: Mi casa, su casa: My home is your home.

((I just modified it since i always seem to type marigold while thinking Marisol. thanks for the reminder.))
Sep stepped back in toward Elena when Ezzie moved away. She didn't know what to say! There were so many things! She opened her mouth but only two words came out when she felt like pouring out her life's history. "Te quiero a madre" It expressed all of Sep's feelings at once and suddenly she began to cry. Leaning on her mother's shoulder she wept. Confusing words tumbled out of her mouth sounding something like this. "Ramione" SOB SOB "mother" SOB SOB "die" SOB SOB "before" SOB SOB "Mr" SOB SOB "Mrs" SOB SOB "cruel" SOB SOB "and I'm just so sad!" SOB SOB SOB SOB SOB SOB. And she kept sobbing on and on. Then the door burst open and Sep was reminded of how hard it was going to be living with a rock star. The Media, Press, whatever you like to call them came in. Mrs Jacobs shooed them away though. Hopefully Ezzie had picked up a few similar techniques. Then Sep turned to Ezzie. "When am I moving in with Mama and you? The Christmas holidays are approaching, could I move in then?" She sounded like a child. The child she was but had never been able to be. On the streets the youngest child had had to be thirteen at least, in the shelter, with changes moving to Hogwarts and everything happening in her life she'd never had a chance to be eleven. But now she would. She'd have a big sister who would probably make a good one and everything would be, well, easier.
She hoped.
But since when did anything go the way of the eleven year old? No doubt something traumatic would happen.
((Translation Te quiero a madre I love you mother))

Ezzie gave Septimus a sympathetic look as she sobbed in her mother’s arms. Ezzie was instantly reminded of the night before Ezzie had received her Hogwarts letter. The night before everything would change forever for Ezzie. She had been crying about being poor and not being able to eat that night. Her father gave her angry looks and called her an ungrateful little brat as he took a swig of tequila. Somehow, even though the family barely ever had enough money for food, Esteban always had money to buy his giant bottle of Hennessey or Tequila. Ezzie had always thought he stole it, as sometimes the small family had to do to get by. She sighed, remembering the night she had spent the entire night sobbing in her mother’s arms. She and her mother stared at one another for a moment, and they both knew they were both thinking of the exact same night. It was a memorable one that night. Not only was the night very eventful, but the next day was as well. Ezzie had woken up with her mother to go find food, while Esteban lay drunk in their small dirty tent. While they weaved through the forest, they ran into a stern looking professor in velvet green robes. The woman handed them Ezzie’s Hogwarts letter, and explained everything about Hogwarts and magic to them. She even showed them a trick. Elena was hesitant to trust the woman back then, but Ezzie could tell she was warming up to the idea of having a witch for a daughter. But then Esteban woke up. After the professor had left, Elena made the foolish mistake of telling Esteban about the incident. He swayed Elena into thinking Ezzie was evil, and that very afternoon, they tried to drown her in a nearby lake. She sighed, trying to push the memory out of her mind.
She glared at the crowd of reporters and entered in once Amanda was done with her speech. “You all have no business being here. As Mrs. Jacobs said, this is a private gathering and you were not invited. It is time you all learned to mind your own business, and stop following me and the Jacobs! There’s no story here, so you might as well leave.” She said, glaring at one reporter in particular that just wouldn’t seem to go away. That skinny red headed woman seemed to pop up everywhere trying to get a story out of Ezzie. She rolled her eyes as more questions were fired. She thanked Madame Rosmerta as she shooed the crowd of reporters away. As Amanda sat down to discuss Ezzie and Septimus’s custody, Septimus approached Ezzie. Ezzie smiled at Septimus’s question. “Well that’s what we’re trying to decide now. I believe Mami is going to adopt you, and Mrs. Jacobs is going to hand custody over me to Mami so she can legally care for the both of us. We’re just trying to discuss living situations.” Said Ezzie, glancing over at Mrs. Jacobs to make sure these statements were true. Mrs. Jacobs smiled warmly.
“Yes, well like I said, there is plenty of room in our home if you need it. I refuse to let you three stay anywhere else unless I know you all have a beautiful home to live in. I could even supply some of the mortgage payments.” She said with a smile. That lady did love spending money for people didn’t she? Ezzie remembered the shopping trip during the summer. Amanda had all but dragged Ezzie to a local mall so they could shop for an entirely new wardrobe for Ezzie. She shook her head. “I’m sure that won’t be necessary, Mrs. Jacobs. I’ve got plenty of money. And if that’s not enough, Mami could always get a job.” Said Ezzie. She then translated everything so her mother could understand.
“Well after she learns a bit of English, your mother can help out in my office as a bilingual operator for the business.” Amanda suggested. Ezzie asked her mother if she would like the job. She nodded excitedly. “Well it’s set then. I’ll set her up for some lessons sometime this week. No need to worry about the cost, Ez. You’re fourteen years old. No matter how talented you are, you shouldn’t be paying for anything on your own.” She said with a smile. “And Septimus dear, if you need anything at all, feel free to send me an owl. I’m Amanda Jacobs, Ethan’s mother. I can send you anything from clothes to books to makeup-anything you need dear, just ask.” She said with a warm kind smile toward Septimus.

Sep scowled at Ezzie's sympathetic look, the only sign she was still herself. Then everyone was talking about jobs and legalities and then Mrs Jacobs was offering to buy Sep everything and anything and Sep started to feel overwhelmed. "Umm, well, Mrs Jacobs I think there are LOTS of things I need. It's just that......." I don't want them. Sep trailed off before she said that bit but it was what she was thinking.

Ezzie was shocked at Septimus’s attitude. Here she was being handed anything she could ever ask for, and she was talking back and scowling at anyone who tried to help. Ezzie was sure Elena and Esteban had not taught her to act in such ways. She exchanged looks with her mother, and she gave her a face that told Ezzie she’d talk to Septimus about it later. Although, would she be called Marisol now? Ezzie shrugged the thought off. Changing her name would not change her general sassy personality. She decided to speak up, hoping to help the situation. Suddenly, she glanced at the window, where the curtains were drawn open just a crack. She rolled her eyes as she saw a camera lens appear through the glass. The reporter saw Ezzie looking, so he quickly took his pictures and dashed. She closed her mouth and walked over to the window, the sound of her expensive leather boots echoing throughout the room. Ezzie remembered a time about four or five months ago, when she would have stared jealously at those boots. She could just see herself stopping her cart of cleaning products in the middle of the hotel corridor, staring down at the classic “material girl” walking past. Ezzie had pretty much turned into one of those girls. She remembered the image. The designer clothing, the designer purse, the small hairless looking dog wrapped in a small furry pink robe barking obnoxiously at Ezzie. How different was Ezzie from those girls? Had Ezzie really become what she had once envied so much? Had she really become what she had sometimes even hated? Ezzie shook off the rebelling thoughts and turned her attention to Mrs. Jacobs, who was in the middle of attempting to speak Spanish for Elena. Ezzie repressed the urge to laugh at Amanda’s horrible accent.
“Well sweetie, I know you’re not really used to living large, so we’ll take things slow. While you’re at Hogwarts, I will only buy something for you if you ask me to. But there will be at least one night a week where you really have to dress up. I really wouldn’t ask you to do this, but it’s for the public you see. Take today for example. The press has about a dozen pictures of you in their cameras right now. By tomorrow morning, England will want to know who you are. During the Winter Holidays, we’ll have to put together a big fancy dinner party to officially introduce yourself and Elena to the public. The press will be there and everything, so Ezzie will have to train you a bit on how to handle them for the night. Now I know it’s all a bit overwhelming, but it’s not too horrifying, I promise.” She said with a warm smile, but Ezzie could just see Septimus getting ready to blow up. She stepped in before any kind of reaction from Sep could happen.
“What Mrs. Jacobs means is this. For the rest of the year, you’ll get to be your normal self. The only difference is, you’ll be living with us at the Jacobs’ place. But no worries. You don’t have to stay there for too long. Me and Ethan normally only go back there to sleep.” She assured Sep, and continued with her explanation. She had to handle this situation very carefully. “There will be one night in the Winter Holidays and quite a few in the summer holidays though where you’ll have to attend. You do have to dress formally, but you don’t have to go all out. You can simply go with your hair down, a simple black dress and maybe a little necklace. Nothing big. You can go all out when you’re ready. I know it seems like a big change, but you’ll be surprised how much it feels like your old life.” She said, this time holding back on the sympathetic smile.

Sweetie. Sep's ideas of this woman kept getting worse and worse till she was fit to blow up. Then Ezzie stepped in and told her that it wasn't so bad. Hmph. Sep would be the judge of that. She doubted it, that was for sure. After all, a black dress and a necklace might have become something little to Esmerelda Mendez but Septimus Uldor did NOT think so. A necklace for god's sake! And doing it once a WEEK! Urghh. And living with "sweetie"'s sister's adopted mother. She was even worse. "So, I suppose it's time to break up. The press can't get enough though, how are we going to get past?" They'd probably think of something. She didn't actually care. She'd just keep being Sep whether they liked it or not.
