Bee walked into the common room after a tiring day of studing. Exams were just around the corner and she was working hard to catch up. She slouched down in a soft armchair near the fire, and attempted to relax. She closed her eyes for a few moments and then found herself asleep. She was asleep for a while, having no dreams. Suddenly, she woke up when she heard footsteps coming near where she was sitting.
((Sorry it's so short! I didn't have a lot of time to write it!))

Katrina sighed. It had been a long day and exams were nearly coming. It was hardwork and she was happy that classes were over for that day. She passed the Fat Lady, and gave the password. She walked inside and found it nearly empty, except for a girl she never met before sleeping restlessly on an armchair beside the fire. She hesitated, before tiptoeing towards her, since she had nothing to do. As soon as she was about to sit down, she saw the girl stir and open her eyes. "Opps. Did I just wake you up? Sorry 'bout that. But if you want to sleep, why don't you sleep in your dormitory? It will be much more comfortable than sleeping here, and noone will be able to wake you." Katrina sat back on her chair, while getting this feeling that she forgot to do something.

A very axhausted Amelia stummbled up the stairs of the third floor staircase. With all the studying and OWLS, she had almost no time to write in her novel, but naturally she couldn't bring herself to NOT write, so with the little strength she had left, Amelia wrote ten more pages in her ever growing novel.
She half fell into the common room, barelly catching her book bag before it and its contentsfell about before her. With a sigh of relief Amelia walked inside, not even noticing the girls already sitting beside the fire. Instead Amelia fell onto a chair and rested her head against the cusion of the chair.

Justin walked torwards the Fat Lady in a slight daze. He had just gotten done studying with a friend of his for Defense Against the Dark Arts. They had been reviewing the Impedimenta Curse, and he had been hit by one that had sent him back, and his head had hit a desk very hard. He rubbed the back of his head, and then pulled out a potion that Madam Pomfreey had given him. He drank it, and he felt better, and he was'nt dazed, but he could telll that once he woke up in the morning, it would be a splitting head-ache. He stood in front of the Fat Lady, and gave her the password, and walked in.
He looked around as he entered, and saw a group of girls by the fire. He did'nt want to get to sleep yet, so he decided to make some new aquaintances. He walked over there, and said " Hi, may I join you?" He awaited there answer, hoping they would say yes, so that he could have a seat, otherwise, he would have to go upstairs, and actually deal with trhe head-ache, and more studying.

Bee smiled at the girl who had woken her up.
"No, it's alright. I just happened to doze.." She smiled and rubbed her eyes to get herself more alert. "I think I'll stay here, now that I'm awake." Bee said with another smile. She sat up straighter in her chair. Someone else came in and fell into an armchair. Bee was just about to stand up when someone else came in and hello.
"Of course you can!" Bee said, her green eyes shining. "Come and have a seat!" Meanwhile, she stood up and walked over to the other girl. "Would you like to join us?"

Amelia jumped at the sound of someone talking to her. She looked up, half expecting the girl to shoo Amelia away like some bothersom fly. She sighed, but softly so that the girls and the boy who had suddenly joined them wouldn't hear. She shrugged, suddenly feeling shy. Her cheeks burned and she half smiled, her exhaustion lifting. She sat up more in her seat, but not much.
"Um..." she mumbled, her tongue not wanting to work. She gathered her thoughts, the feeling of nervousness overwhelming her and she thought maybe she should just say no and leave.
"sure..." her mind sighed, as if disappointed. Amelia smiled a cheesy smile, hoping the others wouldn't think she were crazy.

Katrina smiled as the girl sat up. She seemed like a nice girl and Katrina was happy about that. After all, she needed to know more Gryffindors. After what seemed like hours, Katrina looked up again and fell out of her chair in surprise. Seeing that two more Gryffindors had joined them, she stood back up and dusted herself. "So...let's do the introductions, since we have nothing better to do. I'm Kat, short for Katrina. So what's yours?" She indicated the question to no one in particular, but still hoped that someone would at least answer her.

Amelia cleared her throat silently, well sort of, and opened her mouth to say something. Her voice failed in as her shyness did a steep incline and she blushed, feeling embarassed. She cleared her throat loudly this time and tried again, her voice acually working.
"Alright... um..." her voice died. She took a deep breath, feeling the heat in her cheeks turn as hott as an oven.
"I... I..." she closed her eyes, "Amelia..." she finally said her name, "I'm Amelia!" she felt proud of herself.

Katrina was happy that someone answered her question. "Oh hi Amelia. Nice to meet you! Friends?" She took her hand out, hoping she would shake it and be her friend. ((so sorry it's so short, but you guys have to post, or else it will be hard for me....no, hard for me and others to carry on!!  )) |

Bee smiled as the girl sat up. She seemed friendly enough, just shy. Well, hopefully Bee wasn't making this girl feel umcomfortable. She smiled and then looked at the other two. She listened to the girls introductions before saying her own.
"Nice to meet you, Kat, Amelia. I'm Bridget, Bee for short." She smiled at the other two and then held her hand out for them all to shake.

"Oh hi Bridget! Nice to meet you!" Katrina shook her hand and added, "You can call me Kat if you want. And do you mind me calling you Bee?" she asked with a smile. She sat down on one of the armchairs again, thinking of something to do. She looked up at the other Gryffindors and said, "Er, do you guys have anything to do? If you do, please tell me!! I'm a bit bored here...."

Bee smiled at Kat. "Yeah, sure! Bee's fine. That's what people usually call me anyway." She sat up straighter in her chair and moved her feet. What to do, what to do... Bee looked at the others and then at the floor. "Do anyone have a game of some type that we could play?" She asked quietly. She thought of all the games she had. None, really. She hoped the others had a better idea of fun then she did; the only thing she could think of was a game.

Amelia smiled, wondering if she should shake the girl, Katrina's hand. Then she shook Bridget's hand before Amelai could make her decision. She shrugged ever so slightly and listened to the making of nicknames and smiled, her heart jumping with sudden nerves. Should she tell them her nickname? Ames?? Amelia mentally shook her head and listened to the two yet again. They were bored. Already? That was quick. Amelia giggled slightly. She then held her tongue and looked up at Bee and Kat, they didn't notice. Amelia sighed with relief.
"Well..." she laughed at herself, "It... um... we could maybe play some sort of game?" she suggested, her cheeks turning pinkish.
