Pops had announced that he was considering looking into fostering a child right about the time Wesley turned 2. He guessed it was hard for his father to think that everyone was growing up. After this year he had three kids out of school and Dillion and himself were about to do their last year at Hogwarts. That meant only 6 children left around the house, and for a man like Pops, it was not a happy thought. So now...just over a month later, here he was in the kitchen, trying to cook a nice dinner for the ladd to come home to. Everyone else was trying to help...some were cleaning, making sure the room was set, Logan was simply trying to contain Dillion and Emma was setting the table. The crowded flat looked like total chaos, even if it was somewhat focused, and the thought of adding another person to it seemed disastrous.

So far he didn't know much about the knew boy, other than the fact he was a wizard. Somehow that idea had come to Mum N. one night. If they were going to foster, why not make it a little Wizard, after all, they had two already, even if the rest of them were muggles. Good logic he supposed.

They had gone to an orphanage, and that day came home with some information on a boy that needed a home. His name was Rowen Kerr, and he would be starting Hogwarts in the fall. They had also carefully explained that he had been in the Orphanage since he was an infant, and that he had some...issues to put it nicely. Now though, he was on his way here, and any minute, they would all be able to see for themselves.

His new 'foster parents' were only a few minutes late, but then they were muggles so it wasn't like he could except much. They had to make their way to to the Diagon Alley orphanage by foot, and that meant he had to make his way to his new home the same way. He didn't talk to Eva at all, instead he sat in one of the front rooms with her, glancing over and shooting her his nastiest looks, that was until they arrived. They were exactly how he remembered. He was tall, with legs that looked far to long for his body and his hair was some almost unnatural shade of red. She was small, and rather thing, with dark circled under eyes eyes that made her look exhausted even through she smiled and walked with incredibly energy. He knew that there were already 11 kids in this family, and looking at the couple, he had a feeling there was more chaos in that family than there was in all of the orphanage. He didn't say goodbye to Eva, instead he glanced over at her and walked out the door. He wanted to get this over with.

The family didn't life far form the Leaky Cauldron, right int he middle of London in a flat far to small for the family. They walked up the stairs and pushed the door open to reveal a small living room and kitchen, with nothing but an over sized dining table to dividing them. And the room was filled with children, none of which looked related. Two had fire red hair, some were darker skinned like himself, some were more robust, while one boy seemed too thin.

"Everyone!" Said the father, who had told him the whole way he how he liked to be called pops. "Meet Rowen."
