Professor Filius Flitwick walked into his classroom. He made his way to his desk as he set down his bag on the floor. He put on his glasses and checked his class papers to see what he planned for the lesson today. Noticing his lesson plan, he didnt have to set anything up on the tables. He put his parchment papers back into his bag as he waited for his OWL students to arrive.

Nasser woke up that morning on time and enjoyed a nice breakfast with his fellow Gryffindors in the Great Hall. Harry, Hermione and Ron were of course sitting together whispering about something, but Nasser had only noticed them out of the corner of his eye since he had been sitting with Alicia talking with her. He waved at Celina and Jaquin who were at the Ravenclaw table, but they hadn't had time to talk after breakfast.
After he finished his breakfast he went off to get his pieces of parchment and supplies and walked off to Charms, a subject which Nasser truly enjoyed. Professor's Flitwick classes were always a lot of fun, even when they were doing a particularly hard charm. The Professor however was slightly stricter this year as it was their OWL year, and he did want his students to do well. Nasser took his usual seat in the second row after greeting the Professor with a quick smile and "Good Morning Professor Flitwick." He was a bit surprised to be the first in class. Leaning back into his chair, he waited for the others to arrive.

Cassie woke up late one morning as she darted into the girls dorm showers. After a little time getting ready she ran down to the Great hall to enjoy a quick breakfast. The room was full of life as she walked in. She found a seat at the Hufflepuff table and began to eat. When she finished her breakfast she grabbed her bag, that sat next to her, as she walked to Charms class. Cassie loved Charms, Actually she liked any class. She was a very good student and loved to read and learn. She liked Hogwarts classes because it wasnt the regular nonsence that she had to go through, in her old Muggle school in the states.
Cassie reached the class as she walked in and saw Professor Flitwick at his desk. " 'Mornin Professor." Cassie greeted joyfully. She took a seat in the first row in front of Nasser as she said, "Hello Nasser." when she sat down.

Flitwick sat at his desk as his students arrived for their second Charms class. "Hello Everyone." He greeted as he pointed his wand toward the door, as it closed with hardly a sound. He walked to his podium and stepped up on his stool. "Good Day. My Owl students." Filius greeted a second time. He took pride in his teaching and wished all of his students would pay full attention to him, as well he would to them. "Alright everyone. Today we will be doing the 'Ferula' spell. Can anyone tell me what this spell is? Meaning What does it do?" he asked as his eyes graized the heads of everyone in his class, waiting for a hand to rise.

Cassie sat all eyes and ears watching and listening to Professor Flitwick start the class. When he asked the question, "What does the 'Ferula' spell do?" Cassie's arm raised high in the air, waiting for Professor Flitwick to call on her for the answer.

Celina had just finished her meal in the Great Hall. She went back to the dormitory to take her parchments, quills and textbooks, before heading to the Charms classroom. Charms was definitely one of her better subjects and she knew that she would fare pretty well in it. Entering the classroom, she took her usual seat by the window, not very far off from Nasser and Cassie. She gave them both a brief smile before looking out the window at the Hogwarts grounds not far below.

Justin was walking around looking for someone to go to classes with and found no-one ,so he decide to just go by himself. As he was walking torwards the Charms class he saw the beatiful day outside and wished for nothing but to fly his Firebolt around outside. Finally Justin reached the Charms classroom and walked in.
Justin saw Nasser ,Cassie ,and Celina. So he took a seat by Nasser and said " Hi Nasser whats up?"

Jason had woken-up late. He quickly got dressed and soon he was ready ,so he grabbed his wand and made his way down to the Great Hall. He saw that there were not many people there so he scarfed down some food and made his way to the Charms classroom.
Jason entered and saw two fellow Gryffindor and two girls that he did'nt quite know. So Jason took a seat on the opposit side of Justin.

Alicia walked down the stairs and into the passage heading towards the Charms class. As she entered the classroom, she saw Professor Flitwick at his desk. "Mornin' Professor," she greeted lightly and walked up to Celina. "Hey you!" she called out to the Ravenclaw girl who was busy looking out the window, as she sat down beside her.

"I'm great Justin what's up with you?" said Nasser. Neither Sethia nor Perseus had arrived yet and Nasser had not seen them at breakfast. He usually sat with them in class. Nasser played with his quill, waiting for the class to start.

Justin said " Well I tried out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team and I d'nt know if I made it yet." He then started going through a quidditch book he had with him.

Filius looked around the room as the students started to converse. Hitting his wand off the top of his desk. "Alright everyone, quite down now." Looking for a hand in the air, his eyes landed on Cassie Harper. "Ahh Miss Harper. Please answer the question, What is the 'Ferula' spell? "

Cassie smiled and lowered her hand, as she was called on. "Umm the Ferula spell is a spell which you make bandages for cuts and stuff. Like if you get hurt, you can easily wrap up the cut yourself with out help. Its a fairly easy spell to make the bandages, but its hard to direct them where to exactly go." She finished. She smiled her regular smile. Thinking to herself she hoped she got alot of house points for her house with her answer.

Filius was fixing his glasses on his face while listening to Cassie’s answer. When she finished he started. "Ooh Good work! 10 points to Hufflepuff." he nodded his head toward her. "As Miss Harper said, the Ferula spell is a spell which you make bandages for cuts and or wounds. Well today we are going to practice this charm on yourself. Particularly your leg or free arm.” He smiled as he did an example of the spell. "Everyone watch please." Picking up his wand above his desk and set his left arm down. With his right arm, he flicked it once and make a clockwise motion toward the right and said, “Ferula!” quickly a bandage began to unravel from the tip of his wand and wrapped around his forearm. “Alright everyone please attempt by yourself now. Any questions feel free to ask me." He sat down in his chair as he watched the class.
((Alright everyone. Hermione Granger isn't in this class, which means No one Should gets the spell on the first try. Please try to show some difficulty in this.))

Muttering under her breath, Drusilia ran towards the Charms room. She had over slept, then she couldn't find one of her books which had been under her bed then she had missplaced her glasses, not really needed, only to find them under her cat Chi. Bag slung over back Drusilia ran into the charms room full speed and slowed down wiping cat hair off of her glasses she put them on and sat down in the front row next to a 4th year hufflepuff not really paying attention she let her bag to the ground mumbled, something about time and caniving cats plotting against the world.
She pulled out her wand and placed it on the table before her, then let out a yawn while she linked her arms and stretched them up over her head. After that was done she looked up when the professor asked a question, then over to the girl sitting next to her when she answered. 'When did I end up next to someone?' Drusilia puzzled thought to herself, then concluded, 'I really need to wake up before I meet the world in the morning.'
Taking off her glasses momentarily she tride to wipe the sleep from her eyes, so she didn't end up hurting herself or doing something else stupid. She looked up and listened to Professor Flitwick' instructions. ''Sounds simple enough,'' she commented under her breath and reached up to push her bangs out of her eyes and dropped her glasses, "oops..." Drusilia quickly leaned down to grab her glasses and her head quickly met her desk.... "oww...." Drusilia closed her eyes and then muttered, "I do believe this is when I really miss the heavenly thing known as asprin, why me?" Drusilia moaned under her breath and sat up again rubbing her forhead, "so not my day."

Nasser listened to Cassie answer Professor Flitwick's question. She answered him correctly and gained her house 10 points. "So that's what the charm's used for... interesting," he thought to himself. "Wonder if Madam Pomfrey uses it."
Nasser watched Professor Flitwick demonstrate what they were supposed to do. "OK here goes," he thought. "Ferula!" he said pointing his wand at his left arm. Nothing happened. Nothing happened on his second attempt either. Naseer then realized that he had not been rotating his right arm in the correct direction. Trying the rotating motion without actually saying the incantation he did it several times with his wrist, rotating his wand until he felt comfortable with performing the motion. "OK here goes again!" he said to himself. "Ferula!" This time a small white bandage exploded out of his wand and wound itself tightly just above his elbow where he had been pointing his wand.

Listening intently to the professor, Celina nodded as she digested everything he said. She carefully observed how he conducted the spell and then set to work. Putting her left arm on the table, she lifted the wand with her right arm, flicked it, then turned it clockwise. She repeated this again without chanting the spell. Then she tried it again, this time chanting 'Ferula'. Nothing happened except for a whisp of white smoke being released. Puzzled she looked at another student to see how he was doing it. "Ah, no wonder," she said to herself, as she saw him flicking his wand very quickly indeed. She had done it rather slowly. Smiling, she repeated the process again, this time flicking her wand with a greater speed. As she chanted 'Ferula', a cream-coloured bandage 'spun out' of her wand and wrapped itself around her left elbow.

Filius decided to walk around and actually see how the students worked. Maybe if someone was having trouble it would be easier to ask if he wasn't so far away.
First walking toward the first two people who finished the charm. "Very good Mr. Salah and Miss Bluewick. Both of you just watch your movments of your wand and you'll do it fine." he said said as he fixed his glasses. Peering up from eye level with there desks, he spoke out. "5 points to each of your houses for such accurate work." He finished with a friendly smile as he made his way back to his desk.

Noting that other students were working on the spell, Drusilia desided to snap out of it and get to work. "Ok now..." Drusilia picked her wand up off the desk and watched the girl next to her as she performed the spell correctly. "Ferula!" Drusilia cried as she moved her arm quickly in a large circle. "ehh" sighing when nothing happened she tried a couple more times to no avail, then watching the other students again she moved her hand quickly, aiming at her left wrist, in smaller circles as she said "Ferula" causing a small bandage to wrap around her wrist. "Cool. This could probably be handy at times." Drusilia commented.
