Crying but happy too...she said "goodbye" to her parents, then entered into the Hogwarts Express. Her name was Ashanya Alford, the third year student of hogwarts. Though it was not her first time when she was leaving her parents. But, who wanna leave his parents at all? In the train, she found a suitable seat, and yes, her luggage had already been reached to hogwarts. She was a reserved kind of girl. So didn't talk to anyone. She was sitting on her seat...watching other students....in hope to get a new friend.

Gaining access to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, Wynd nodded to his twin before heading in the opposite direction of her. Trying to be the best prefects they could, the Lehanes decided to do a sweep of the Express early on in the ride. Make sure no one was being bullied by a Gryffindor. Or made a fool by a Ravenclaw. Or worse, receiving a hug from a Hufflepuff. Ruby was to start at the back of the train making her way forward and he at the front of the train working his way back. Just like in real life. She looking ahead and he looking behind. The first few cars held nothing of real interest to him. Mostly third or fourth years thinking they knew everything there was to know about the world. Wynd passed them by but not before hexing a few with boils.
He then came to a compartment with a young girl within. A first year it looked like. She looked scared. Definitely not Slytherin material. Most likely Hufflepuff. His cold blue eyes made contact with hers and he found his mouth forming words to be heard. "Don't look so scared. Older students can smell fear," he said with disgust. He pointed at his prefect badge to show her. "This is a prefect badge. I and several others have one. It means we are in charge when the Professors are not around." He could feel his anger boiling at this innocent girl who had not done anything wrong. Wynd felt the calm center of Ruby in his mind. "What's your name?" he asked the young girl in front of him.

The train was still halting at the station. A great mass of students was on the platform with their parents. Ashanya was still alone. But, not very long.
After a while, she found a tall boy coming toward her, who was sharing blue eyes with her. But his voice seemed offending to the first year ravenclaw-Ashanya. Then he showed his 'perfect' badge & told why he was having it.
She felt good. At least an 'experienced' boy was there to help her in case she wanted. But, being a 'perfect' boy, his behavior............was, according to her, full of resentment. Perhaps, it was just a presumption. She was asked her name. "Ashanya, Ashanya Alford, third year ravenclaw", she told him in subdued voice.

Wynd rolled his eyes at her answer. "It's obvious that you're a first year. There's no need to tell me that. And you think you're going to sorted into Ravenclaw. Only the Sorting Hat can tell you where you belong. Although..." He looked at the empty compartment with a dramatic flair. "Sitting here all by yourself... You'll probably end up there." The girl was boring him. It was obvious that she wasn't going to end up in Slytherin whatever the Sorting Hat thought. This girl was missing the spunk needed to be in Slytherin. "Alford. Alford... I've heard of your family. A true wizarding family. Tell me something... what do you think of muggles?" They were never too young to be used.

Yes, she was sured that she would be selected in Ravenclaw. But, she thought why she should have told it to that Slytherin, perhaps, he won't understand. But, as the repercussion of his answer, she said," I know what the sorting hat do." This time, her voice was a having bit intensity.
That 'perfect' boy was heard about her family, the Alfords. He asked her something to say about it. She answered cheerfully," Well, despite the fact that I'm from a Pureblood family, my parents work for the Ministry and are conducting research for the Ministry of Magic as to how the wizarding community can integrate themselves peacefully into the Muggle one. They are committed to studying Muggle ways of life, Muggle superstitions and beliefs, and the Muggle people themselves, so that they can provide information to help witches and wizards better submerge themselves in Muggle society."

Wynd let out a small sigh and rolled his eyes dramatically when the first year told him with no doubt that the Sorting Hat would put her in Ravenclaw. He wanted to tell her that he knew many students that were not placed in the houses where they hoped they would be but where they belonged. Although sometimes the Sorting Hat was wrong, Valmer and Olivia came easily to mind, it was unusually accurate. It was an old and powerful magic that made it come to life and carry the knowledge of the four founders. It wasn't charmed like the suits of armour of the school because no one controlled its actions. However, someone at some point must have enchanted it to life. Maybe it was once a person. Maybe the four founders changed some pour sap into a hat and cursed it to sort young wizards into the Houses. Whatever it was, it was not for this first year to know. Focusing his gaze back on the young girl, he decided to hold his tongue. If she wanted to believe the Hat would bow down to her will, maybe it would.
Her next words made Wynd's eyes narrow into slits. He looked at her very closely as his hair slowly turned from its dirty blonde colour into a passionate fiery red before turning back to normal. "Integrate? Why on Earth would we want to integrate with them? They should be the ones who have to bow down to our whims not the other way around. After all, they can't even perform simple things like magic. Poor creatures." He kept his voice even and steady but hatred flowed forth like a volcano spilling over into the cool ocean. "You choice of words is interesting. Submerge. Sub being the word for under." His eyes opened wide so she could see them turning from a cool blue to a rich emerald. "You and your parents want us to live under them." Wynd felt his left hand curl around his wand. He left it in the sheath but held it for comfort. Just to know it was there. "Never." He told her. "Never."

OOC: Wynd, I think you should modify your posts of this thread because i've changed my year from first to third. IC : She found Wynd trying to utter, but stopped. He was not calm & indifferent on getting her answer. Ashanya felt again and again that somewhere or the other, that six year Slytherin was slight short-tempered or might have 'deluge' kind of nature. His repercussion came out as an 'unexpected' answer & strange behavior which made her perplex. After contemplating, she specified," No need of bow-down! As far as 'sub' is concerned, It's not designated that it means 'under' for us, at least for me. The are not deficient. It's just a matter of harmony. We don't wanna harsh toward muggles. I don't wanna say, but I don't think there is any need of your 'magical powers' for this matter, if you are trying so." She sighed,"It's a verge. Why most of muggles take the wrong meaning of what we say and do? All purebloods are not like that. I agree that some are vicious, stickler and all that. But as far as I know my family, we are not like them. Rest is up-to you, what you think." She smiled.
