Delilah gave him a small smile at his answer. She felt his lips crash down on hers. And something hit her like a rock. She wasn't sure what but something not good had happened when he kissed her.
She pulled back from the kiss and stared back into the fire. She did not say a word to him. All she did was look into the fire.

Delilah gave him a small smile. "Nothing." she said sadly. "I guess I am just tired. That's all."
She wasn't exactly sure what was wrong. All she knew was something was wrong.

Delilah turned to look at him. She didn't look at him straight in the eyes. "Would you stop sneering at me? Can't you see something is wrong that I am hurting? I thought you were different. Maybe I was wrong about you." she said sadly.

Payton felt as if he was just stabed in the heart when she said Leave me alone "Al....Alright..." he said getting up and going down to the boys dorm

Delilah felt him leave the couch. "Pay..." she called after him. "I love you. I just need time to get use to us. This happened quickly for me. I need time. Tonight made me realize that I don't know myself anymore. You know more about me then I know about myself. I need time to discover the true Delilah." She stopped talking and stood up. She walked over to him. "Please. Give me a couple of days."

Delilah moved back as the door slammed on her. "Come on Pay...Talk to me." she said banging on the door. "I didn't mean it like that." She leaned her back against the door and slide down it. This was not what she wanted. She just wanted to spend sometime getting use to the idea of no longer being a best friend. This just made her more upset then she already was. "Please Pay...open up." she said one more time. "I know you can hear me."

As Payton fell backward onto the bed he lazily waved his wand at the door and said "Silenco", thus qiueting the noise of the banging, but she wouldn't notice this change

Delilah banged on the door for a few more minutes. "Please Pay...I need to talk to you." she said. She leaned her head back against the door. "Pay..." she said out of desperation. She sighed and got up from the floor. She turned to face the door and sighed. She walked over to the couch and laid down. If her wasn't going to let her come to him he would have to come to her. She closed her eyes thinking about Payton. She soon fell asleep.

Payton had long since fallen asleep, he woke and looked at the clock, it was 3:00 A.M. he rose from the bed seeing his comrades sleeping pleasently, he pushed open the door to the common room, the spell had worn off, and saw delilah sleeping on the couch "Delly, wake up!" He shouted so nobody else would wake

Delilah woke to hear Payton shouting at her. "What do you want?" she said rolling on her side to face away from him. She was still upset about what happened earlier that day. She just felt like curling up in a ball and staying like that forever.

Delilah rolled to her other side so she was facing him. "Thanks Pay but I should be apologizing. It came out wrong and I am really sorry." she said sadly. "Forgive me?"

"Yeah, sure" he said hugging her tightly then releasing her "I was studying in their for a while, then I fell asleep" he chuckled "I Wanted to pass tops in potions class for my O.W.L" he said

Delilah hugged him back. "O.W.L. aren't for a couple of years, Pay. Why are you studying them now?" she said looking at him and raising her eyebrows. "I will most likely study them the day before they are done."
