He made it to the Greenhouse exactly as class was scheduled to started and he moved to an empty stop on the large center table near Susan Bones, a fellow Hufflepuff in his own year. He smiled at her and gave her a friendly nod before glancing up at the board to see what the topic was for today. Horehound. Yes, he had read about that before. A rather useful plant it was.
Class casually progressed, as Herbology usually did, and finally they came to the part where they would actually have to get their hands dirty. Now, he never approved of this part of class, as he never enjoyed the thought of having to cover himself with soil, yet it was necessary part of his education.he carefully measured out the soil, paying attention to make sure that it reached the exact level Professor Sprout had indicated. He then made the well for his roll of horehound, which he double checked before proceeding.
When he finished his plant was perfectly complete, the directions given followed exactly.

Herbology. Jordan liked classes. She liked Herbology. It was one of the classes you really had to work hard at to do. She sat in her seat - next to Dillion - and listened to Professor Sprout's instructions. Usually, Jordan just wrote down what she was to do, but since she was partnered with Dillion on this - she decided to remember to do half, and hope to the Lord of Heaven that Dill would remember the other half. She had gotten the pot and filled it up to 3/4 with dry and rough soil. Then as she went to stick her finger in, she looked at Dillion;
"You get to put the thing in the hole, then I'll water it and cover it..so basically you get to plant it while I dig the whole, cover it, and water it. You put the horehound in the hole, sound good? I don't wanna touch it." Jordan smiled as she plunched her index finger into the soil, the width and length of her finger - then pulled it out. She looked at Dill and tilted her head. She watched as Dillion rolled it, and put it in - but it wouldn't work. She giggled, and watched as he became slightly frustrated with it - then re-rolled it and stuck it in. He then started jumping around like Dillion did. Jordan laughed and covered the hole, before pouring water around it.
((All g-moding of Dillion was allowed by the player.))

Pomona kept a careful eye on her students form the font of the room, watching them makes their holes and carefully place their rolls of leaves and closer inside. She smiled and nodded at some of them as she watched. Ah! Such joy in watching others learn how to grow their own magical plants! Finally, as their scheduled class time was drawing to a close she walked down the row and nodded.
She walked casually by a few more students, observing who had followed her directions and who had not before she reached the font of her classroom again. "All right everyone! Thank you all for such a wonderful first class of the year! 10 points for all who finished the assignment, and there is no homework. So, go and enjoy the rest of your day!"
((This class is now over))
