Cass smiled her winning smile at Liam once again. “That’s great. I will send an owl to Mom to let her know that we are going to have company. Yeah, my mother would freak if we went to your place without supervision, but we will have to go one day. I didn’t know about your Grandfather though, but maybe we should go and visit him. I know he probably doesn’t see you much since you are at school and all, but I don’t want to encroach.” I guess it is a good thing that he isn’t moving his hand, thought Cass. After sitting in silence for a few more minutes, she heard her watch make a very loud ringing sound.

Jumping out of the water, Cass began to dress. “That’s my alarm. It’s fifteen minutes to curfew. We should get out of here.” Cass packed up her things and began to fold her blanket. “You know, I’ve really enjoyed this tonight.” She blushed as she put her blanket into her carry all bag. “Of course, you know my secret now. Not many people know I can play guitar or sing. It’s not something I tell people very often.” After a quick inspection of the ground, she addressed Liam again. “So, are you going to escort me back to the castle now, Mr. Angelus?” Cass mocked a fake snooty accent. With a smile, she began to walk back to the castle.

Liam laughed a little at how excited Cass was. He knew that even if her mom didn't freak out, his grandfather and aunts and uncles would have. "Yeah, I think we could see him sometime," Liam replied. "I'm pretty sure he could use the company. I'm sure he'd like to meet you." Liam watched the stars twinkle without much thought going through his mind. When he heard a loud ringing noice, he looked to see what had happened.

Liam dove in the water one last time before he got out of the lake and dressed. He quickly made sure that nothing had gotten left on the ground as he started to follow Cass back up to the castle. "I have enjoyed this too," Liam replied with a smile. "Well, I'm glad I know your secret. Perhaps you'll let me burrow your guitar so I can see if i still remember how play this song I have stuck in my head."

As Liam walked close to Cass, he felt the necklace in his pocket. He took it out of his pocket and turned it over in his hand. "Here, why don't you hold onto this for a while, maybe it will bring you luck," Liam said holding out the necklace.

Cassandra's eyes got really big as Liam held out the necklace to her. " Liam! I couldn't possibly -!" She stopped herself in mid-sentence. She didn't want to upset him, but this was his family crest! Wizard's normally held onto those treasures with their dear lives. " Okay, Liam. Thank you." She let the medallion drop into her hand where she held it protectively.

Making their way up the front steps of the castle, she chattered on. " Of course you can borrow my guitar. I hardly play it at school. I'm not very good. I truly only know enough chords to be dangerous. My brother says I could be in the Weird Sisters if I tried hard enough, but that isn't my thing. I think I'm more into dueling really. Oh, did you hear about me taking down Pyro last year? It was so funny. He still hasn't lived that down with some of his housemates."
