It had been a long day for Liliane. She was finishing up all her last minute homework assignments. She sighed as she looked out the window. The sky was getting darker, but there was still light. She gathered up her stuff and went up to her dormitory. She threw on some warmer clothes and headed out.
As she walked threw the halls she smiled at all her fellow gryffindors who passed her on their up to the common room. Her shoe had come untied and she bent down in the middle of the hallway to tie it. When she got up she was surprised to see Justin standing there.

Justin Lionheart came out of Professor Flitwicks' Charms class joyfully. He looked raound and saw that all his friends had already headed outside. He walked around singing Days Go By and decided to head outside. He walked toward the Entrance Hall. He saw noone there ,so he continued on outside. He looked around and decided to head to the courtyard.
As he was walking torwards the courtyards he felt a snowball hit the back off his head. he grabbed a deal of snow and quickly made a snowball and he hit the other kid in the head to ,then continued on his way. He saw a girl he had met yesterday and walked over. he said " Hey Liliane ,whats up?"

As Liliane walked outside she saw Justin. She was happy to see him because she knew didn't know any of the other kids outside.A familiar face is just what she wanted. "Hey Justin. How are you doing?" She smiled at him and as she brushed her hair behind her ears. She always brushed her hair behind her ears when she was nervous.
She was about to start up a conversation when all of a sudden she was hit in the back of her head with a snowball heading for Justin. She found in rather funny and picked up some snow and threw it back at the kid. "Right back at cha!"Liliane looked back at Justin and smiled "Kids these days."
Liliane looked for a bench to sit on and directed Justin to join her. As she sat down she looked at Justin. She had just met Justin yesterday and she wanted to know more about him. "So Justin, care to tell me a bit about yourself?"

Justin smiled and said " Me ,I'm doing okay. How 'bout you ,how are you doing?'' Just then a snowball smacked Liliane right in the back of the head and Justin could'nt help but laugh. Justin quickly said "Now that's what I call taking one for the team." He then grabbed a deal of snow and made a snowball he threw as hard as he could at the kid and said " That's for missing me." As Liliane asked him about himself he said " Well ,I play guitars ,love to fly , and love DATDA and Charms ,oh andTransfiguration. How 'bout you?"

"I'm doing fine thanks." Liliane replied. She listened to him tell her about himself. "That is so cool that you play guitar. I was going to ask my friend Katie if she could help me learn, but if you could, that'd be cool too." She smiled at him. "Well myself, I love charms and transfiguration. I am not a big fan of DATDA but it can be okay. I love reading and I love the outdoors. I spend most of my time doing those 2 things." She slouched in her seat and looked over at Justin. Liliane really couldn't think of anything to say, so she said the first thing that came to mind. "Are you excited for Christmas?"

Justin said " Yeah I could teach you how to play the guitar." Justin kept listening and realised they both had a lot in common. He liked reading and the outdoors. Then she asked if he was excited about Christmas and he said " Of course I am. I ca'nt wait for Christmas break ,no potions ,no Snape ,oh and did I mention no Snape." He then looked around just in time. If he had'nt turned his head he would have been pelted by a snowball. He saw who it was and grinned. He made three snowballs and laid them on the bench. He then grabbed his wand and said " Locomotor mortis." and instantly all three took off speeding at the kid. He saw 'em and took off ,but not before it was to late. Each of 'em hit the kid in the back and Justin grinned. he then looked back at Liliane and said " Well ,what do you wanna talk 'bout?"

Liliane gave him a big smile when he said that he'd teach her how to play the guitar. She wanted to hug him just because she was so excited but she didn't know if he'd think that it was awkward or not. She decided against it.
Liliane laughed at his comment about christmas and how he how there will be no snape. Liliane had hated Snape. Liliane was happy to be laughing. She had been deprived of a good laugh and she was glad she met someone who could do that. She looked at him and said "I'm not exactly one for being a conversation starter." she laughed as another snowball flew past them. "Man, these kids dont know when to stop." Liliane ignored it though, she didn't feel like making another snowball.
"So Justin, you got brothers or sisters?" She felt dumb for stating such a question but she didn't exaclty know what to say.

Justin listened as Liliane talked and he said " I'm not one to start a conversation either.Oh and they should have learned by now." Justin knew it was a Slytherin who was throwing the snowballs so Justin said " Guess they might have found out who set the firecrackers off." He grinned and said "Protego." just as a snowball came at him and watched it head back torwards the Slytherin. He then answered her question about whether he had brothers or sisters. He said " I have a brother he plays for a semi-professional quidditch team. What do you have ,brothers or sisters?"

"Wow thats really intersting about your brother. Very cool. All I have is a younger sister and an older brother. I am incredibly close with my brother. It's funny, I never really had any other friends than him and his friends, which is cool. I like hanging with guys more than girls. They don't seem to have drama attached to them when you meet them. That's why their so cool and it is also why I am enjoying hanging out with you." Liliane smiled and looked at Justin.

Justin smiled and listened as Liliane talked about her brother and sister. He smiled and said " Your relationship with your brother sounds like mine and my brothers." Justin smiled when she said that she enjoyed hanging out with him and Justin replied with " I enjoy your company to." He grinned and said "So what do you wanna do or talk about?"

Liliane blushed and smiled. She looked around to see that a lot of the kids had gone in. She yawned and looked at Justin. She was glad that they had so much in common and that she had someone new to talk to you.
Liliane was tired of sitting. She grabbed Justin's hand and began running through the snow with him. She was laughing and smiling. She enjoyed the breeze running through her hair. She looked back at Justin behind her and gave him a huge smile. She ran up until she slipped on some ice that was underneathe the snow. She fell on her side and laughed it off.

Justin saw Liliane blush ,but did'nt say anything. He then felt her grab his hand and pull him with her running through the snow. Suddenly she slipped and let go of him. Justin was sliding on the ice torwards a tree and he grimaced. (Uh-oh,) he thought ,(this might hurt a bit.) He hit the tree and slid down its trunk. Suddenly the snow fell out of the tree onto him and he felt cold. He quickly started laughing while rubbing his head and said "Hey ,you okay Liliane?"

Liliane laughed at the sight of Justin covered in snow. "I'm fine, really. The real question is are you okay?" Liliane laughed again as she got up, brushed the snow off herself, then went over to where Justin was. She let out her hand to help him up. She smiled at him, gave him a huge hug. She laughed at what she was thinking. When she pulled away a bit she smiled at him and pushed him back down saying"Betcha cant catch me." She went at a slower pace this time though, being careful not to fall.

Justin said " I'm ok." as she helped him up then he blushed as she hugged him. Then suddenly she pushed him back down and said that he could'nt catch her. Justin said out loud "Oh yeah?" and he got up quickly and took off running after her. he saw a long ice path along side her and took advantage of hit. he did a baseball slide. He miscalculated where he would land and slid right into her knocking her down on top of him and he quickly sat up and said " Sorry 'bout that. Are you okay?'' he really hoped she was okay ,because if she was'nt ,it would be his fault.

As Liliane jogged she watched closely as Justin slid on the ice path. The next thing she knew she was lying on top of him. She laughed at the entire situation as she sat up in the snow. "Don't worry about it, I'm okay." She gave him a reasurring smile.
She didn't really feel like standing. So she sat up for a second thinking of a ground activity. She thought only for a few seconds before she layed down and started making a snow angel in the ground. Once she was done she let out her hand to have Justin help her up before being careful not to ruin her perfect snow angel when getting up.

Justin stood up as Lilianne made her snow angel. When she got done he helped her up and then bent down and drew two horns on the head of the angel. He then laughed and said " Well snow angels are fun ,but snow devils ,now thats new." He then walked a little bit aways and made a snow ball ,then he threw it at Liliane. He laughed as he looked onward to see if it hits its recipient.

Liliane looked at Justin as he made 2 horns on her angel. She laughed, "Very interesting Justin. I never would of thought of that before." She turned away to see how many people were left. When she turned back a snowball had hit her directly in the face.
Liliane looked at Justin as she spit the snow away from her mouth. "Thanks for that Justin." She tried wiping away the snow but her face was freezing. She picked up some snow and wailed it back at Justin in hopes that it hit him hard. She laughed as she watched it approach Justin.

Justin laughed as the snowball made contact and hit Liliane in he face. Then she chunked one at him and he tried to dodge. It slugged him hard in the shoulder. He put on one of his accents and said in and Irish voice " Arrgh ,I've been hit. I'm going down cap'n." he fell on the ground and began making another snowball and he quickly threw it at Liliane and suspected it would hit her somewhere around her midriff ,by the way he was positioned. He was still using the Irish accent and said " You can take my butter beer ,but you ca'nt take my freedom." he then said in his normal voice " War."

Liliane watched as the snowball hit Justin. "Yes!" She smiled greatly and laughed. She laughed at Justin's Irish accent. Liliane didn't do accents but she said it her cutest girly voice "War it is, my love." She laughed and started making snowball after snowball, continually throwing them at Justin. "Ha ha, seems you've found your match."

Justin grinned and grabbed his wnd. He said "Protego." the snowballs bounced off and he jumped behind a mound of snow. He made himself a wall for defense and soon he also had three piles of snowballs. He took out his wand yet again and said "Relashio." a hole melted in the snow just big enough for him to shot snowballs out off. He took aim and shot them out with his wand. Soon the sky was filled with snowballs. He laughed and said " Prepare for defeat ,madamouselle."
